Such a beautiful place and so quiet.

If you like history and old places, this is the place to visit. There is a peacefull vibe inside and the smell of roses make it heaven like. They have a beautifull museum with lots of artficats dating from 13th century. Don't forget to sign the visitors book and make a wish for a better world on your way out. Thank you!

Beautiful and peacefull place. Haven't been here since I was a kid in late 80s. Didn't have much time to explore further. Weather wasn't cooperating and the kids were tired and grumpy.

You park and then you go on up the small hill towards the church. The complex is large, there is even a bakery. The church is not special through its architecture or paintings, but a mass with nuns singing was fabolous. The nature around is beautiful.

Really old and lovely place. Highly reccommanded.

Pretty cool monastery, very silent place where all you can hear is the birds singing. Inside the church it's extra silent, a place where you can lose yourself in meditation. The houses and gardens both inside the monastery and outside in the village are very beautiful in a rustic way and very well kept. The art inside the church is typical of Orthodox Christian churches
