First Catholic monastery in an orthodox country. The Pope Paul ,the third himself blessed the first rock of this simple but imposing monastery. There is an athmospere of genuine holiness in here, the nuns are really gentle and welcoming. The landscapes are amazing and breathtaking as the monastery is located in a picturesque and beautiful forested mountains eaves. Truly recommended and worth visiting. I was impressed by its uniqueness.

(Translated by Google) One of the few monasteries where there are cloistered nuns who dedicate themselves to work and prayer only behind the monastery door. Here you can also get accommodation for rest and spiritual renewal with the opportunity to talk with the 3 priest monks who are on the right side of the building and who organize days of silence for groups of children, young people and adults! Who wants an oasis of peace, this is the perfect place!

(Translated by Google) "The "Mother of Unity" Benedictine Monastery built between 2000-2003 received on March 25, 1998 from Pope Ion Paul II the blessing for the first stone of the monastery. On August 6, 2000, Bishop Petru Gherghel laid the blessed stone with the relics of the saints on the place where the altar of the monastery is today. At the initiative and invitation of the Benedictine sisters from the "Mănăstirea Maica Unității", Viișoara (Piatra Neamț), starting on 11.07.2017, the Conventual Franciscan Brothers took over part of the monastery and the spiritual activities implemented over the years by the sisters. (Translated by Google) A divine place full of peace! Unfortunately, the marker on the map is wrong. Coming from Piatra, you have to turn right towards the Bisericani Hospital and it is 1 km further on on the right!

👍👍 A beautiful historical monument to the roots of this great Romanian people. The monastery has been restored for the most part and sermons are held. It was built by Stefan The Great 500+ years ago.
