We had an early lunch here, based on a recommendation from a family member who had come, and we were not disappointed! We had three salads, and they were all fresh and delicious. We’ve booked this restaurant for our last night in Rome so the expectation in terms of food was big. The comments were great but in reality the place does not live up to the google rating (first time I face this). My friend liked his food (appriser was good).I simply couldn’t eat my main courses. The fish dishes did not taste great but the staff was very kind and took them out of the bill. Absolutely lovely meal. Great staff, we had a little wait for table but they let us order drinks and sit outside in the lovely weather and served us great toasts with truffle cheese for free while we waited. When we were seated the staff was attentive and accommodating and the food was amazing, my vegetarian lasagna (lasagna of the day, with eggplant) was AMAZING. Also enjoyed the toasts with cheese and pear, which they added another one to as our group wouldn’t have been able to split them among our number easily. Just wish we had come earlier into our trip as it is our last night in Rome. Great experience and affordable as well.

We had no reservation for the restaurant but the host let us take a table within the hour. We came back and since our table was not fully ready they let us sit in the tall tables inside to wait. While we waited we ordered a bottle of Lambrusco that was smooth and refreshing. The Lambrusco was not in the wine menu, but once I asked if they had anything similar they informed us that they have their own reserve. We started our dining experience with the cold cuts and cheese board (absolutely fantastic!). The board had a great selection of meats and three types of cheese. They also served a jam for the cheeses that was super tasty. For our mains we ordered the truffle pasta, the amatriciana and the pasta with figs and pork. All of them were simply amazing. The portions are also really big. Unfortunately we had no more space for desert, but will try it next time. Highly recommend when in Rome and will definitely come back!
