This place is really busy and for a very good reason. They have a large menu with many delicious American style breakfast and lunch favorites at reasonable prices. Most of their portions are big enough for two people, so be prepared to eat some left overs. I thought the service was phenomenal for as busy as they were. Our waitress along the rest of the staff kept our cups of coffee and glasses of water full. The food was delicious and you can tell that it was freshly made. I really like the way that they remodeled this place. It's clean, open and modern. The parking lot is too small, but you can park in the strip mall parking lot.

Heard about this place from a friend who raved about it. That said I lowered my expectations before we went! It was FANTASTIC!!! The menu had so many delicious looking items it was hard to choose. So we split a biscuits and gravy and each got our dish. The waffle was mind blowing!!!!!! It was the tastiest, sweetest but not too sweet waffle I’ve ever had. My wife couldn’t even come close to finishing her skillet. Definitely, Definitely, Definitely check this place out!!!! My only complaint was the seats by the door get pretty cold every time the doors open. Understandable in winter but still gets the food cold quick! It’s so good it’s worth every penny you spend!

Awesome food! Totally lived up to the hype of previous 5 star reviews. Our server Andres was funny, quick and very attentive. Cannot recommend this spot any higher!

Wow! Absolutely amazing! I was concerned about prices but the portions where huge. My husband got the lumber jack and had a full plate left over. The Anna banana was amazing. Beautifully made and very Tasty! Our server Kara was outstanding. No empty glasses and never had to ask for anything. Very relaxing atmosphere.

I came here to celebrate my friends’ birthdays. I walked in and went up to the front to ask for a table. 4 different groups of people came in after me, and even though I had waited in line and was standing in front of the hostess desk, she asked (and seated) everyone before even asking me. Thankfully, we were seated within 5 minutes. The restaurant was crowded, as you’d expect on a Sunday, but we received our food in a well timed manner. Love the portion sizes and creative ideas, but I didn’t think there was much flavor to some of the dishes. The Suga Momma: The waffle was not fresh, it felt like it was sitting under a heat lamp. The chicken was dry. Blueberry Lemon pancakes: solid, but the blueberries were overripe and mushy Barbacoa skillet: meat was dried out and crunchy Turkish coffee: watered down and lacking in flavor I’m giving it 3 stars overall because I enjoyed the actual server and environment, but the food was a bit inconsistent between options.

What a great breakfast! Tres leches French toast and nasty skillet were great and love the thick sliced bacon too! Nicely decorated and clean inside. Don’t let parking lot of exterior deter you. Looking forward to go back and try other dishes.

So pleased that this new restaurant is serving amazing food. Took my family there today. Everyone was happy and satisfied with the service and the food. I had the Chub Club, and they had gluten free bread available. Very tasty! Their portions are huge and there were enough sweet potato fries to share with everyone. Good job on transitioning from the old Family Square. This place will definitely become a family favorite!

Waitress we had was friendly, the pancakes were heavenly, probably the best pancakes I ever had. The restaurant was beautiful on the inside very chic and updated, along with being extremely clean. The prices are a bit high for breakfast food however the taste was what made it worth it. Very tasty food.

I visited the previous place for years. It needed a refresher inside and Tasty Biscuit hit it out of the park. I forget the breakfast sandwich name but it was excellent. Fried Chicken, eggs with waffle bun.

Stopped here on a whim after a quick check of the google star rating. Looked good, a 4.6 when I looked. Safe to say this place DOES NOT DESERVE 4.6 STARS. Food was average, clearly frozen potatoes and meats, straight from the truck to the microwave. Maybe this place was better years ago but seems like they keep adding menu items and getting cheaper ingredients to save a buck. Friend had the biscuits and gravy, that they are supposedly known for-disgusting. Decor is kinda weird, like barn chic, but then has grass panels on the wall and bonsai trees? Place seems like it’s having an identity crisis. So much staff, at least 10 workers that we saw, but only a handful of patrons on a weekday morning. Staff were all nice and friendly. Overall wouldn’t recommend anyone goes here, feel sick and tired after eating. Most definitely will not return.

Our first time here. Congratulations, we enjoyed the food. We tried the Mexican skillet. It was delicious. Spicey! Not for the meek. They have are selection. I personally would like to have seen more social distancing. A suggestion? Regularly wipe down the condiments bottles.. It was really busy and full. We will come back for more.april 2022 we had the southern skillt-boned ham very delicious . Social distancing? Not so good. So packed in there. Hard to walk the aisles. Nov 2023

Used to love this place. However I had a Togo order today and while eating my salad I noticed mold on two of the shaved carrots. I called the store and brought it back in to show the manager. I didn't ask for a refund or replacement, I just figured they should know. She said "that's just the skin". She was ignorant and had an attitude. Food mistakes happen but covering up/lying about them are inexcusable. Will never be back

Today was my first time visiting and I was impressed. Clean environment, friendly waitstaff, great food. We visited at "brunchtime" and I ordered one of the skillet dishes--delicious! Our server was friendly and welcoming. Masks are required when not seated.

I visited with my husband. I had the Nasty Biscuits and he had the Nasty Skillet. It was delicious and more than we could eat. With 2 coffees, it was a $38 breakfast not including tips. Average entree price was $13.99. Clean place. Fresh decor. Friendly service. We would visit again.

Very nice waitress! Food was bland, and I mean bland. I ordered chicken and waffles and the chicken had no seasoning. The manager said that is the way people like it. I don't know about you but I need seasoning on my chicken.

I was in the area with my mom and we stopped at this place because they had the nicest looking atmosphere/vibe compared to other breakfast joints in the area and 1,000 plus really good reviews. The menu is extensive with something for everyone. I saw a few options that I haven’t seen before. The food came out quick, tasted good and staff was friendly. Very nice experience.

Went on a Saturday morning, it was busy but we were seated and served quickly considering how busy it was. Food was awesome and I would eat there again if I lived in the area.

I didn't get a chance to eat the food. I ordered to go and when I came to pick up, some items were missing from my order. I then opened and took a bite off the fish. I had the catfish. I immediately didn't like it. I saw a picture online and thought that were there chicken tenders not the fish. It was just not my type at all. They were really nice to accommodate giving me a refund.

Biscuits served cold and not really tasty. They only sell fountain drinks and dont have canned soda. Their fountain drink taste awful. They need to clean the fountain. The skillet was below average and pancake was below average. Its the first time that we dont finish the pancake. Overall, not recommended. Very expensive for the offered quality. See check photo.

I've been to Tasty Biscuit many times and it's your average breakfast place. Menu is pretty standard breakfast fare but very large. All and all I don't crave going there but I don't mind when I end up there either. Servers tend to be very quick and food comes out fast. Prices have gone up recently so I would not consider this a restaurant where your getting a deal. It's a safe bet when you want a quick breakfast.

We had the pleasure to visit Tasty Biscuit for the first time over the weekend. From the outside, we thought as we walked in that it will have that gloomy ambience. It didn't. Bright and greeted with a smile by the host. Menu was overwhelming but enticing with all the dishes they offer. My spouse settled with chicken and waffles (again..lol) and I with skirt steak. We did order Beignet and what a treat it was!!! Came with cream cheese, nutella and some berries dip with it. This is my game changer as it was better than what I had in New Orleans. Wish their waffle texture is the same as the beignet. I think it would be a hit. My spouse was not a fan of the waffles, again. It didn't stand out but the chicken, that was really good. The meat was juicy, not dry at all and the skin was crisp at its best. My skirt steak was juicy and tender too. No complaints there. They serve big portions so you really get your money's worth. And our waitress? She's the nicest and a local. She lives in Bolingbrook. Definitely will eat there again to try other dishes. Happy Eating!

Have gone here for lunch a few times now since this place opened as Tasty Biscuit. Both sandwiches I've had have been delicious, and portions are great since they come with fries and soup. Good value for your money, and reasonably quick for a sit down lunch on a time crunch. Place is much nicer inside too since reopening. A+
