    This is the 2nd time I’ve ordered the spicy chicken sandwich in 3 months. It’s soggy like it was made earlier and left sitting in the bag. They are making too many sandwiches in advance for the rush and they are not fresh. The chicken sandwich is supposed to be crunchy. Very disappointed and will not be visiting that location again.

    For awhile now this location has been off. So much so I'd drive 15-20 mins to another one and bypass this one, but today! If you changed back to the old recipe, whatever y'all doing differently, stay with it 👍🏾. Gave 4 stars cause I hope it's not a fluke. Like I said it's been a LONG TIME since it's tasted right.

    First of all they are rude and very slow I sat in line for 30 mins at the drive thru just for them to make me wait another 15 mins for me to order. Then after I gave them one order they told me “hold up” and made me wait another 10 mins. Then after I placed my order my sandwich had a long black hair in it. I was disgusted. Poor service horrible employees and rude. Never again will I come here

    If you’re hungry, go elsewhere. This used to be my go to spot. The good used to be delicious and fresh. The staff has changed. I just went there yesterday, 6-12-22. They were out of just about everything. The drive through girl was super dry with me taking my order. I asked her to not give me all thighs because the last time I ordered there, I basically received all thighs. After waiting in line for 20 minutes, I got up to the window. Everyone inside looked like they don’t regularly wash their hands and bodies. NO ONE had gloves on! No ONe had hair nets on! My bill total was over $45. I almost left it because I had an eerie feeling, but I didn’t want to be difficult. So I took it and pulled forward a little to check on how many thighs they gave me. Out of 12 pieces, they gave me 6 thighs! So I parked and tried to go inside, and the door was locked! I would’ve have to get back in line and wait another 20 minutes with no assurance that the matter would be resolved! I Decided to just accept it and took it home to my family. I was biting into a chicken leg when I noticed sliminess. And the meat near the bone was still red. About an hour later, myself and my family were all fighting over the restroom. This morning, I write this review from a weakened state. Im still sick! At the very least, I want my money back! I will most definitely not be returning, and depending on how it is handled by management, I will be contacting an attorney and reporting this place. Ridiculous!

    This place is the absolute worst in terms of service. Every single time I have an online order to pick up I walk in and wait in line or even alone for the minimum of 10 minutes before anyone even looks at me to ask if I can be helped, meanwhile often there are 2-3 bagged orders sitting on the counter getting cold while waiting for delivery!! Then they have my ticket sitting on the counter and not being filled until they finally acknowledge that I've been standing there waiting for at least 10 minutes. I usually don't walk out of this place with an order until a solid 20 minutes after I arrive. You can at least acknowledge customers waiting in the lobby and not pretend like they aren't standing there!! Very rude and unprofessional...DO NOT GO HERE!

    Poorly run location. They'll leave you waiting to order for 10 minutes and then don't listen. If I order a spicy chicken sandwich combo, your next two questions shouldn't be asking if I want spicy or regular, or if I want a combo or just the sandwich, I literally just said that. And then they got my order wrong and left part of it out 👍🏼

    I thought I already reviewed Popeye's, but why not again. Sad that they got rid of Cajun rice. Popeye's mild chicken is not that great. But the spicy chicken and spicy chicken strips are great. Spicy chicken sandwich is also very good. Mashed potatoes and gravy is good. The fries as well.

    Fabulous as always Popeyes chicken never disappoints. The spicy chicken is perfectly crispy and flavorful! Biscuits are yummy crumbly, and the beans and rice so heartwarming. The guy working at the window was super nice and polite. Made for a great dinner.

    We bought the six-piece wing special Buy one. Get one for a dollar The taste was terrific. I was so disappointed with the wings. They were so small. They were like a nugget. I should have taken a picture. Probably won't buy those ever again. Just not worth it

    The service was so bad that I didn’t even complete my order. The girl at the drive thru had a VERY nasty attitude!! When i spoke with the “manager” she gave me an oh well type of response. I DO NOT recommend wasting your money at this unprofessional location!! I will not be back!

    Shrimps were tiny not small. No dessert after paying for 3 blueberry cream cheese pies. No sauces for chicken, shimps, and chicken tenders. Nasty attitude, non-accomadating EVEN after driving back. Spent over $80. Will NOT RETURN.

    I like popeye's chicken, but this time I got the ghost pepper wings and they were the smallest wings I received from any fast food restaurant. The staff was quick, and the other chicken looks good, but the ghost pepper wings were less than a snack.

    I quit going to my Popeye’s two years ago bc the quality of their chickens, had taken a dive. I don’t believe they were even selling USDA Grade “B” chickens. Many broken bones, feather parts, and a distinctive wet feather, fowl smell, no pun intended. That was then. Tonight, I figured I’d try my luck, and I’m happy to report the Chix wings I ate were excellent! I can recommend Popeye’s in Bolingbrook, once again. Thank you & Peace to all✌️

    Place was busy. Staff was very friendly. I ordered a meal but didn't want the drink. I had already paid and the poor guy was trying to refund me and I told him don't worry about it. I even left a 30.00 tip for them to split among the staff.

    Went through the drive thru for a spicy chicken sandwich. Was asked to drive around to the parking lot to wait for our order. We waited 10-15 minutes before going inside to check on things. They forgot we existed and would have never come out with food. Additionally, they then rushed and made a sandwich but not the correct sandwich. No apology, no offer to “make it right”, just a hastily assembled incorrect order almost 20 minutes after it was ordered and forgotten. They didn’t appear busy, so I’m not quite sure what was going on.

    Not sure why the workers are allowed to handle food with there bare hands. . I came into the location and was taken back at how many staff members didn't have gloves on I watched as knuckles and fingertips touched chicken and dipped in sides ... Didn't see one person wash there hands while I was there .. if your working the Cash Register theres no reason EVER.. That they should be handling food ESPECIALLY without gloves, also was told to use cash instead of my card .... Don't know what up with this location but Popeyes..... DO BETTER.

    The boy at the register seemed like he had attitude after I asked him to give me another hot pepper instead of the small almost rotten one he gave me initially. Then he gave me mashed potatoes to little to none gravy. I will not be returning to this Popeyes! I will go out of my room the one in Romeoville before I return to this one in Bolingbrook. This was just the last straw for me. The last time I was there they hand hair in my frozen lemonade.

    The food and service was good but earlier today when I was a dollar short on my order they didn’t give me back my money and when I went to check my bank account I had $0.00!!! This is ridiculous they didn’t even bother to give me back my money after all these months of eating there and being satisfied with their service they decide to rob me!?!?

    Waited over 30 min for online order. Does not know how to manage front. 15 people waiting for the order and worker walking like a chicken without a head. Then gave me wrong items. Sad for their service.

    Poor poor poor service when you go in. Poor management as she was working just the window and not paying attention to the inside. 50 minutes to get food. Food was cold. I checked my order prior to leaving and was missing two large sides I paid for. Manager did NOT believe me and re checked my bag and caused me to wait again for my order. Manager was also very rude to not just myself but the other customers on the inside.

    they never get your order right and the manager is rude to her employees and customers. I decided to give it one more shot today and never again. everything wrong, and gave me no sauce that i had to pay extra for.

    This Popeyes, is the closest to me so it’s convenient. But it’s a hit or miss, either you get a wrong item or attitude sometimes both. I understand when you are busy and can make a mistake but they happen to often. I like Popeyes, it might be time to drive the extra miles and check out the one in Romeoville.
