We remember the San Gabriel from 24 years ago and it is still a lovely hotel, with a warm reception and superb staff. We would suggest that everyone should stay there, they won't be disappointed. It is so close to the centre but in the quietness of the old town. Looking forward to going back.

What a great hotel in a great small city...we enjoyed everything. The Junior Suite was terrific...spacious, comfortable and a great bathroom. Exceeded our expectations. The staff was professional and very helpful...friendly too! They gave us suggestions for restaurants and what to see in Ronda. Breakfast was very good. The bridge is a short walk and breathtaking. Do not miss the new bridge, but also the older bridges which are upriver. A short walk to good restaurants. A great place to stay at a fair price. If we ever get back to Ronda, this is where we will stay...longer next time.

Really cool, classically styles, but with a movie theme, hacienda-like hotel, with big rooms and friendly staff. It's located in the beautiful and quiet old town of Ronda in about 200 meters from the world famous bridge (which is really awesome by the way).

Fantastic place to stay when visiting Ronda. Located on the old side of the city (quieter with small streets) and walkable to all to see in Ronda. The building itself is gorgeous (and old house) with friendly staff and good parking options (paid garage or you car an park for free an easy 10 min walk away). Staff is friendly and attentive, they asked how things were and addressed an issue with the sink the day we reported it. Loved our time there and would highly recommend.

Such a great value, I highly recommend this hotel! The rooms and common areas are beautifully decorated, it feels like a different era. The service was great and provided us with many recommendations. Only downside was the wifi was a bit slow.

Very traditional, comfortable and calm, well situated with a massive orange tree outside our window filling the room with scent. Close to the main bridge and centre, it’s a good base to explore from

Stopped here on a January weekday for one night. Pleased with check-in, explained nearby parking with their discount. Room was adequate but cold -but then, everything's cold this time of year. Comfortable bed and hot shower.good location for all the sites and dining

Centuries old beautiful hotel in the old town, just a couple of minutes walk across the new bridge. Loads of old school charm. Our room with the ensuite vintage bathroom was very fitting for our stay.

Just recently finished up a 30 day Spain vacation and Ronda was one of the perceived highlights. As a semi professional, very serious amateur photographer I had wanted to go to and see the bridges of Ronda for years. We picked and chose this hotel long before finding out it was a Rick Steves suggested hotel and it did not disappoint. It's quaint and comfortable and very reasonable. They do have a morning breakfast which was a very good way for us to start each day. Highly suggested.

Stayed here with my bf for just one night, what a lovely little gem of an hotel, staff were polite, professional and very helpful. This truly is a boutique hotel, with beautiful traditional Spanish furniture, fixtures and fittings. Superb location close to the centre but with less noise as on the quieter side of the bridge. One not to be missed if staying in Ronda.

I enjoyed our time at this hotel. Checkout process was smooth and the staff was happy to check for different activities for us. It's located very well. 5 minutes to the famous new bridge. The rooms are done up beautifully and the linens and towels are very good. We could park for a short time while in front of the hotel while we checked in. You can either find free parking nearby but we had no such luck. At the hotel they direct you to the paid parking near by. You pay for it at the hotel. It's priced very decently.

An amazing hotel in the middle of the old town. Rooms were very spacious and baby friendly. Breakfast was just ok though. They also have an agreement with a parking nearby for 12€ a day. Attractions, bars and restaurants within walking distance.

Magical hotel with amazing antique decor and unique rooms! Our view was incredible! Didn't have time to try the wine cellar so will plan a trip back! Staff is so accommodating and friendly!

Nice old fashioned hotel. Quaint decor. No bar or restaurant but loads nearby. Can store bicycles no problem. Reasonable breakfast. Large old fashioned bedrooms, good.
