A tour and some cool insights into the production of their locale wines. A very sweet host with some equally amazing dogs. 🐶 The wines are also good and it's possible to buy some after the tasting.

This is a beautiful way to spend a couple of hours if you are near Ronda. We were a party of 10 and were warmly welcomed by Araceli who walked us through the estate and told us the story of how this particular Bodega came to be. This was before serving us a perfect lunch to accompany our tasting session, outdoors and in the shade of a walnut tree with fantastic views. The wine was fantastic of course but the most memorable part of this visit was the realisation that this is truly a family business and a real labour of love, from the growing of the grapes to the naming and hand-labelling of the bottles. And all done with the utmost care for the surrounding environment.

Stunning small winery, well presented by Sonja. They have about 7 grapes in small batches. The tasting is accompanied by a tour across the place. I liked the whites more than the reds but wine is a matter of personal taste. So, have your own tasting and enjoy the tapas, the view and everything you like.

Great Experience - we took a private tour for 4 with Sonia. She was excellent, very personable and knowledgeable on the production process, This vineyard has an interesting history and takes care in the production process which shows because the wines are very good, The tasting was interactive, the setting was perfect and the cheese and meats were delicious. Our group purchased some wine to ship home and we enjoyed a few bottles that evening as the wines were on the menu at a few restaurants and bars in Ronda. If you are going to tour a winery in Ronda I highly recommend Bodega Kieninger be the one.

Bodega Kieninger is an absolute must!! Sonia is very knowledgeable on the history of the winery and types of wines and was a great guide. We were able to book easily last minute after having this place recommended from a friend and had a private tour for our group of 4. You get to see various vineyards as well as the barrel and bottling process. Small tapas are provided outside overlooking the vineyards and nearby town….you can’t go wrong coming here!!

Over the past 50 years I've been to literally hundreds of bodegas in dozens of countries. This small winery was a pleasant surprise. I like wines from the Serrania de Ronda and this Bodega has some good examples of the region. Our tour guide Sonia was professional, attentive and friendly. She made us feel at home. If you are in the Ronda area, pay a visit to this winery. You don't have to be an expert to enjoy a few tapas with some nice wine. This place is a hidden gem.

The best winery visit/tour we’ve ever done - so much detail! Despite being in the midst of harvest and working overnight, Araceli welcomed us like family. We had a private, personalized tour of the grounds, productions and cellar. We throughly enjoyed sitting and tasting wine/local food while chatting with Araceli. She was fantastic at making the tour accessible for our toddler who absolutely loved playing with the dogs.

Fantastic vineyard. We visited in the midst of the harvest and we were still welcomed happily. We had to change our booking at the last minute due to a small ailment and so could only manage the tasting. Nonetheless we were given an informative tasting of some of the wines. Amazing small batch wines with a lot of character. We left happy, with a couple of bottles of wine and with some fresh figs!

Lovely couple of hours spent with Martin and Araceli at their vineyard and bodega. Very delicious wines (and an impressive 9 varieties on offer) and local food. Loved meeting the dogs and cats too. Thank you!

If there’s one thing you should do in Ronda, it is to go here. The way this bodega is one with the nature and has sustainability in their thoughts within every step of the production is beautiful. The animals were treated with love, the staff was lovely, the atmosphere was permeated with familiarity and the wine was delicious. Tour of the lands and wine tasting, about 2 hours, all of this was only 25€ per person. Go here!

We visited Martin Kieninger for a wine tasting and a walk through their beautiful vineyards in the area of Ronda. All the staff we met were very friendly and the wine tasting including good snacks was amazing!! Martin does very personal and interesting visits himself, telling about his journey to become a winemaker in Ronda. I highly recommend visiting the Bodega Kieninger, not only for the great ecological wine but also for a great experience to meet people with passion and to get to know their individual way of making wine!

Do you ever fantasize about having an own vineyard? This mystique place is exactly what we imagined it would be. we had a great tour in their organic vineyard and tasted most of their great wines. We even tasted the grapes for harvesting. if you are interested in the whole process until the wine is made and.a very personal touch we highly recommend this tour.

Amazing small eco-oriented winery where the healthy tending of the soil comes first and delicious wines follow. Our host Balthazar was fantastic and someone we felt we knew personally by the end of our time together -- not like some where you're moved through in a very formulaic way. We walked the vineyard, learned about the history of the land and farming philosophy, and tasted the wines together, along with some cheese and meat. It was very intimate, definitely the best kind of wine tasting experience. Highly recommended.

Excellent and personal tour. Very homely and nice. Great wine, great tapas, great location, and the dogs were nice too. Balthazar a great host. We recommend in small groups and try to get the little cave room. It’s very nice for a group session together.

We had a lovely guided tour at Bodega Kieninger the 14th April 2023. Our very kind, charming and knowlegeable hosts Baltasar and Sonia took us on a very interesting tour, explaining the hole process, starting among the wine stocks, explaining the different kind of grapes - to the production room. The tour highlighted in a wine tasting of the wonderful Kieninger wines, paired with local food. We were also able to buy a variety of bottles to enjoy later. Best regards from Kristin and Trond and until next time, cheers.
