We
stumbled
across
this
hotel
whilst
looking
for
somewhere
to
have
lunch.
I
can’t
comment
on
the
hotel
so
I
will
only
comment
on
the
lunch
service.
There
is
a
terrace
in
front
of
the
hotel
beneath
a
broad
tree
so
on
a
hot
sunny
day
the
sun
dapples
though
the
branches
and
keeps
the
heat
from
the
street
at
bay.
It’s
directly
across
from
the
ruined
villa
which
houses
a
museum.
It
only
took
a
friendly
smile
and
a
couple
of
poor
attempts
at
Spanish
and
the
staff
treated
us
like
old
friends.
They
couldn’t
have
been
nicer
and
even
helped
me
with
my
pronunciation
without
making
me
feel
embarrassed.
I
had
a
tuna
and
tomato
salad.
I
will
be
honest
and
say
that
it
was
the
simplest
salad
I’ve
ever
eaten.
Just
tuna
and
tomato
dressed
with
salt
flakes
on
the
tomatoes,
herbs
(oregano,
I
think)
and
good
olive
oil.
Yet
despite
its
simplicity
I
think
it’s
one
of
the
best
salads
I
ever
had.
The
prices
were
reasonable
for
Ronda
and
if
you
go
at
the
right
time
you’ll
get
to
see
the
peacock
who
turns
up
at
the
hotel
for
his
lunchtime
feeding.
