We stumbled across this hotel whilst looking for somewhere to have lunch. I can’t comment on the hotel so I will only comment on the lunch service. There is a terrace in front of the hotel beneath a broad tree so on a hot sunny day the sun dapples though the branches and keeps the heat from the street at bay. It’s directly across from the ruined villa which houses a museum. It only took a friendly smile and a couple of poor attempts at Spanish and the staff treated us like old friends. They couldn’t have been nicer and even helped me with my pronunciation without making me feel embarrassed. I had a tuna and tomato salad. I will be honest and say that it was the simplest salad I’ve ever eaten. Just tuna and tomato dressed with salt flakes on the tomatoes, herbs (oregano, I think) and good olive oil. Yet despite its simplicity I think it’s one of the best salads I ever had. The prices were reasonable for Ronda and if you go at the right time you’ll get to see the peacock who turns up at the hotel for his lunchtime feeding.

Lovely little property, stayed in a small ground floor double room, spotlessly clean, great WiFi, tea and coffee making facilities. Made to feel very welcome. Less than a 75 meters to the old bridge over the gorge. No breakfast included but, MacDonald just over the bridge, plenty of eateries within 5 minutes. Managed to park just outside the old town which is free and safe, takes 15 minutes other option is 24hr parking for€12 , 15 walk into the new town.

I really enjoyed my stay here in 2010. You couldn't ask for a more convenient location nor a more welcoming and hospitable staff. Señora Nieves was so kind and friendly, and spent time telling me the history of the building. It was the family home she grew up in. The lobby had pictures of her and her siblings as kids. The room was clean, modern, and comfortable. It was also surprisingly quiet. The bathroom was a bit small but perfectly adequate. You just can't beat how central the location is. I couldn't imagine staying anywhere else if I were to make a return trip to Ronda.

Very nice clean and comfortable rooms. Great location on a small winding street close enough to everything but far enough from the crowds. Room was not large but certainly nice glad to have chosen this hotel.

This was perhaps my favorite hotel on 16-day winter trip through Andalucia. Terrific location, only a couple minutes to the new bridge and several minutes down to the old. Spacious room with an excellent bathroom and shower. Would definitely stay here again.

Comfortable, inexpensive, wonderful location, the friendliest, kindest staff you could ever want, a beautiful building, cozy rooms. Can't recommend this place highly enough. Would absolutely stay there again.

Great location, great price, great room and great people - what more could you ask for. With the windows open you can hear the town go to sleep at night and wake up in the morning. They even had a place to park my motorcycle.

By no means a 4 star hotel, while the neighbor Ronda Hotel Nuevo is. Breakfast could not be served. At the end a recently decorated guesthouse with one official star displayed at the entrance; there are better choices for the price.
