We went for our 2pm reservation and little did we know that was going to be the highlight of out trip to Spain. We went with the large tasting menu with wine pairing. Fair warning; do not eat prior to going with this option. The dining service was impeccable and the food was beyond imagination. No science experimental gastronomy here, just taking the best of proper cooking to the purest level of flavor extraction. Mr. Gomez takes your palette on a taste adventure of superior heights and his staff follow his footsteps in a flawless dining experience.

We didn’t book in advance but still managed to walk in. The waiters were very attentive and knowledgeable of the food and wine. We are very impressed by the time management (each course connected smoothly to another). Every dish was a wow, I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who spends a day in Ronda!

My visit was last year and this visit was still memorable because I never experienced this before in any fine dining restaurant Hospitality was good and the food experience was splendid but not mind blowing. The wine pairing was with great pleasure. At two courses my husband didn’t get the ‘additional side dish’ as it contained meat. I find that really not done for a restaurant, that they did not replace it with something else eg fish or poultry or even with a vegetable. It has been clearly communicated well in advance with my reservation. Why omitting a dish if I pay for the full menu price?!? A non-star does it even better

One word: excellent. The food, the flavours, the wine pairings, the service, the setting. This was our introduction to Spanish star cuisine and we could not find a fault if we wanted. A menu at Bardal is the perfect follow-up to a visit to the Picasso Museum in Malaga. Because Benito Gómez and his outstanding crew achieve the same degree of abstraction (in terms of tastes and flavours) combined with a substantial concreteness that the painter does. This was really something...thank you.

Absolutely fantastic meal, fantastic service, up there with Noma and Kadeau for me and well worth taking a day trip from Seville or Malaga.

We went as a couple, had the full tasting menu and my boyfriend had the wine pairing as well. Each dish was amazing from butter to goat and wine pairing was so successful. The staff was kind and friendly and their explanations during 4 hours provided for a better experience. Expensive but worth every penny

On a whim I phoned to see if a table was available a few minutes before they opened at 8 p.m. The cocktail at the Ronda Parador had induced me to go mad. They had a table. Basically It's theatre. I had the 17 small varied plates and bowls of character. 9 wines to accompany. Tapas. Expensive tapas with style. Flavours were prolific and of the region. This takes special skill and love. Yes love for your region and craft. Full marks. This style of cuisine is often pretentious and contrived but when done well and with passion as it was this night I have to give credit where credit is due. Spectacular and worth the money.

Good. 2-star is fair. Mostly seafood. Desserts were weak. Big selection of sherries by the glass.

One of the best dining experiences we’ve had! So precise, detailed, tasty, neat. Love every part of it and the attention from team is amazing! This is a real example of passion and love to your profession.

Fantastic experience. Out of ~20 items served in the large tasting menu, only one was not to our liking, and even that one was well-prepared, it just wasn't our cup of tea. One was, actually, maybe the best bite of food I've had in my life. This was a masterclass in flavour power, often by layering versions of an item on itself in delightfully creative ways. Great mix of textures and temperatures. Wine pairing was well-matched and generous. Service was friendly, comfortable and personal. Altogether exactly what you would want from a 2* restaurant and absolutely justified the price tag.

One of the best Michelin restaurants I have been to. Every dish was executed well with robust flavors. The menu was primarily seafood. The wine selections were also good. Highly recommend!

The food was very delicious, we had a good time tasting different variety of the menu and the wine, with very authentic ingredients from the region of Ronda and Malaga, we enjoyed everything. Always a pleasure to eat there.

Amazingly Andalusian gourmet food. Well worth the experience, check it out if you have the time or opportunity and spend the night or more in Ronda.

It was a wonderful, creative, delicious dinner, representative of Bardal's two stars. The wine pairing was especially good, with all the selections being both interesting and high-end, unlike many pairings that feature weak, cheap pours. Worth the visit.

👍👍 Possibly my favorite spot i visited in Ronda! Our receptionist recommended this spot as his favorite so we thought to try it out. We had the acorn fed pork which was possibly my favorite food of my entire visit to Ronda, so crispy and tender! We also tried the spinach croquettes which were delicious...
