We have had two great stays at Finca la Guzmana now - one in late October 2016 and one in June 2017. We love the rural location but also close proximity to Ronda and many other cities for day trips, the big swimming pool, the well-equipped kitchen, the lawn for games and relaxing, and the great value. Can't wait to come back soon!

Hidden gem close to Ronda. Homely atmosphere, great facilities, well equipped communal kitchen and friendly hosts. Especially the backyard garden invites one to stay all day, be it by the pool, in a hammock or enjoying a meal. Staying here again is reason enough for us to visit the area again.

We have mixed feelings about this place. As one of the previous reviews says it, the outdoors are very nice, the pool and breakfast area very pleasant. However, if you value comfort over looks, this wouldn't be my first choice. The bed was a lot harder that the standard ones, our backs were in pain every morning. The rooms are noisy; you can hear the neighbour's dogs barking the whole night and the train passing every few hours like a plane sound. Hard to communicate with the owner if you don't speak french. Besides from that, it was a nice experience.

He checks the availability of his rooms but very rarely. We booked and paid, only to be told 24 hours later that he no longer had a room available. Faster response was desirable

Excellent pool, gardens, and breakfast. We really enjoyed those aspects of our stay. And the breakfast staff was very helpful! That being said, there were some items we didn't love about our stay: We weren't given any information before our stay such as check in time, procedures, etc. When we arrived, the gate was locked with no one answering phone calls or emails to open the gate. An hour later we were let in... The wifi was really bad in our room and the neighbor dogs were loud enough we heard them all night unfortunately. We requested dinner with our stay and I confirmed dinner plans when we checked in. The night we had reserved dinner, the host said no one signed up and we would have to find dinner in the city instead...?! Overall our stay was mediocre. We were very excited to stay at this BnB for our honeymoon, but it ended up falling short of all the other great reviews we saw.
