I love the views here But if only the service was as good as the views. The lady who greeted us was quite rude and not very welcoming The food was not bad apart from the vegetables being served stone cold. Definitely frozen veg not fresh prepared because they were not only cold they were mushy. The mixed fried fish platter was very good. Although we had to ask for a fresh lemon as the one it came with had been used!! Yes squeezed and used beforehand!! The octopus was chewy and unusually tough so very disappointing. The calamari was beautifully presented and tasted ok not as tender as it could have been. I will come back and give it another try. I hope it will improve by that time.

I’m pretty sure I visited Simbad as a kid about 30 years ago, I think it was barely more than a wooden shack back then. How times change. This is now a Sunday lunch destination par excellence - you couldn’t ask for better views and it’s clear that there are regulars here, all looked after by the head waiter. The place nicely treads the line between relaxed and trendy too. All good but how was the food? I have to say the patatas bravas were lovely but everything else wasn’t quite as good as hoped, solomillo was ok but served with tinned veg, my wife’s sardines didn’t excite her either. If you want a great location for a drink and ‘beach quality’ food then Simbad will deliver, albeit at a slightly punchy price for what it is.

Came here for dinner multiple times while on holiday and would recommend to any one. The restaurant is right on the beach with seating both outside and and indoors. Food is amazing and made with fresh seafood and the drink menu has something for everyone. Reasonably priced food as well. Warning that this place can get quiet busy so make sure to book a reservation before hand.

The place is good by the sea and the only good thing is just location by sea The staff are Wacky they take order but forget to bring for you Have wait long time to wait even for a drink Also feel so bad when its look like anyone want to scam you , they bring us two buds beer with bottle and glass as I see the different of the beers color when I filled the glass and one of them looks like drank by some and full with water , that beer also tase like water also no sparkling I call the manager and told him about this No apologized and tell me all the beers have water inside 😂 at the end he just changed and bring another real beer so we didnt order anything else and ask for the check when they bring the check there are 6 beer in the list but we ordered just 4 , better be careful and check they add extra items and you gonna pay for orders you never have For sure never going there again and not recommend

The service was below par, even though some of the staff were trying very hard. We waited for our main courses for an hour, our starting drinks having long gone. The waiter told us in running that the kitchen is busy. Something strange happened with our order, it seemed to disappear at one point and our waiter quickly ran through the dishes with us. Apparently at this point all our special requirements were dropped. Mashed potatoes with truffles turned back into rice and after commenting on this, a plate of local sliced potatoes was served. One of the drinks was never served, we had to ask for our wine when it didn't turn up, on and on goes the list. The food in this restaurant is ok, way too mediocre and bland in taste for the Northern European pricing, though. We had the chicken and fish skewers, both tasteless and the chicken dry, the seabass for two, which was fine, as well as the steaks two of our group had. One of the steaks was not cut from the better parts as it should have been, though. The location and the atmosphere of the restaurant were great to begin with, but flattened while our long wait without even a drink to make it easier. The only apology we got was "the kitchen is busy". If the kitchen is too busy to prepare food for all the tables, don't give so many people reservations. And I'm sure the kitchen is not responsible for the missing drinks. We would have happily paid for extra bottles of wine as well as other drinks while waiting.

Very lovely restaurant at the beach. Nice staff, good service, exceptional good food. We will definitely come back.

One of our favourite places to go when we are on holidays. Yet again another fabulous meal. Staff were so nice. Its location right on the beach is gorgeous. Simbads gets better every time we go there

Great location if you’re around the area (I really dig the quiet villa lined streets round here) and the views over the sea are lovely Terrace, garden and indoors offer plenty of space and options. Vibe is pleasant and the design and set up are good Drinks are safe and cover everything you could want from this kind of space & location. Food was actually much better than I expected and there’s plenty of choice Service bordered on haphazard, but if you relax into the place and take your time, or doesn’t matter much Would definitely visit again

Been visiting Elviria a few times over the last year and was recommended this beach restaurant. Service, surroundings and food all excellent. Tables nicely spaced apart too. Garden area is actually the outdoors with the green grass carpet looking out to sea. Food ranges from goats cheese salad to fish and meat dishes. Will definitely be going again.

I stayed in the Marbella area for two weeks and Simbad is my favorite restaurant. The restaurant has an aesthetically pleasing layout and design with a beautiful ocean front view! Their seafood paella and seafood spaghetti were the best I’ve ever had along with a refreshing white wine sangria.

Fantastic meal - we had the black risotto and it was better than the one I had in Valencia, the home of risotto! The service is good, very attentive. There was a live violin player when we were there, which gave a great atmosphere, but the star of the show is the view. You really can't beat

The restaurant is located perfectly- right by the sea. There is a big parking next to it. The food is fabulous (especially the tomato spaghetti) as well as the seafood! The waiters and staff are very kind and nice. The drinks are delicious especially the cocktails and milkshakes. On Sunday night there are live performances from a lady and a man and it’s incredible. Highly recommend!

Perfect place for a date night and to watch the sunset. Some of the best seafood we’ve had on the coast. Attentive service and well priced.

Nice Location directly at the sea. Food and drinks overpriced, they increased the last year very much and Simbad even if it is only a beach restaurant, it us,almost licated in Marbella, it means higher prices. I am not very Fan of their kitchen either and not all the staff is very friendly, they come to take the plates always when the other is still eating and so on. The French guy at the Reception is a nice and friendly person. I only go there for the Atmosfere, not so often anymore. The place is always full, lots of English people...maybe they are not so fussy about food and a positive aspect lots of parking places are provided.

This restaurant has a lovely position right near the beach. The views of the ocean are wonderful and is very relaxing. The food was very good, being here a couple times twice for lunch and once for dinner one evening. We had a very good Lobster Paella, Seafood spaghetti and grilled fish. So all good here . The menu was varied offering many choices. My only complaint would be the service it can be patchy and slow, we found ourselves trying to get the waiters attention a few times which doesn't bode well with me and spoilt our experience to be honest. We will go back, however we now know the service can be slow.

Awesome place for a wine and dine, we had a great time here along with the great food. A cozy and comfortable place to be with your friends and family. It's located right next to the beach and an open air dining is cherry on the top. A bit expensive but worth it.

Best restaurant in the area. Food very tasty and well served. The only minus is that during a heavy wind you eat and drink everything with a sand in your teeth :-)

Enjoyed sundown here. Good spot indoors (if windy/damp) and outdoors to soak up the holiday mood. Didn’t know it was in Casanis group. Always hard for these places to distinguish themselves from each other. Here’s a zebra and good parking. Food was not memorable like their bistro.

Very nice restaurant right on the sea beach. Numerous of sea food which cooked in different ways - grilled or roasted, all are tasty))). Extremely nice place for launch and dinner. And very hospital of personal. Have a good time in Marbella and enjoy 🙂

Cool place in a great location. Friendly staff but need customer care education, space to impro. Good food. Price on the high end. Great parking. Coffee not so special. Maybe worth a try.

Sorry, all years before it was excellent, but meanwhile no more than before! Quality of food went down and prices up! 🤨 2 times reclamation did not help, uneatable Calamaris... 90% of all desks were blocked by reservation, even 3 and more hours later...with no guests! Sorry, that is not the way to serve and keep your guests! Bye and never again is my warning to friends and in social media!

Perfect place to chill & watch the ocean from the large beach terrace .. Free parking on-site ..Best Front Of House Guy ( Fabrice ) I have ever seen. Immediate welcome and nothing is a problem. A must if you are on the coast .

We decided to visit as we haven't been for over 3 years. It has been done up nicely and has a nice ambience for lunch. The food wasn't as good as it was and the price has gone up, as expected, a shame as you don't mind paying more when the quality is good. The Sardines were lovely, the fish skewers were both overcooked and came with frozen vegetables!!!!! No excuse for tasteless frozen veg not at €21. Service was good when you could get their attention. I recommend booking and maybe asking for something to replace the frozen vegetables if you are unlucky enough to have them as a side.

Wonderful place to eat. Because we were in Marbella with bad weather this place was great to eat inside as well. We made a reservation and it was really necessary because it can be quite full. Loved the nice staff and clean and stylish beach-house and mood. The food is tasty and my husband ate one of the best pulpo he ever had. The mixed paella was so tasty and also a big pan for 2 . I would recommend this restaurant if you are near Marbella area.
