The visit to this vinyard was the highlight of my trip to Ronda. Such an amazing place, full of history and love. The landscape is beautiful, the wines are gorgeous and Flavio was a very kind, knowledgeable and friendly host. We had an amazing visit to the Descalzos Viejos winery! The winery and setting are both beautiful. Our host Miguel was very knowledgeable and made our visit a joy. Not to mention, the wine was delicious! Definitely check this place out if you are in Ronda.

I drove 1:30 hours to get to this place but what a nice place, what amazing people and great tasty different wine ... youcan smell all the different aromas in the wine ... really unique and great experience . They went out of their way to recieve me and wow... I am grateful ! Thank you for the experience

Very beautiful place. Be sure to call ahead to make sure they're open if you go. We hiked the Mirador de los pinos, with the intent of stopping here before the last leg back to Ronda, only to find they were closed for their harvest processing. A very gracious gentleman apologized (and gave us a taste of their wine!) and said we were free to look around the gardens and grounds.

What a wonderful visit we had at DV winery! Flavio was an exceptional host, and made us feel welcome while he discussed the history of his winery. the view was breathtaking, which further enhanced our wine-tasting experience. thoroughly enjoyed meeting his staff, to include his dogs and cats (Dimitri).

Absolutely loved Descalzos Viejos winery in Ronda Spain! The winery was picture perfect with stunning views! And the wines were fantastic! I would highly recommend for any wine lovers touring Spain.

Amazing and gracious host. We accidentally got lost on a drive in Ronda and just as he was closing decided to let us come in for a wine given we had travelled all the way from Australia. Delightful history and amazing attention to detail with beautiful preservation of the past murals in the vast cellaring hall. Wish we had more time. I would love to come back for one of the music and arts events held there. Well worth booking a visit to taste and purchase some of their extensive wine.
