OK for a quick visit. It’s way at the bottom of the hill and it’s a long walk back to the top. If you are tired after a long day exploring Ronda you can safely give this place a miss. But otherwise it’s OK for a quick tour of say 30 minutes.

Amazing ancient arabs baths. Worth a visit by only 4,5€. You can understand how the Arab baths works... very interesting 👌

Is nice but really small. Because of the 10 minutes video you can see it all in 15 min. The video is interesting but I'm not sure if is worthy the 4,50€ per person. Students have a discount, but for a couple with two kids you have to pay 15€. BTW watch the video first so you understand better where you are walking.

Spectacular step into deep history, a fine introductory video to show the workings and purpose of bathing the Muslim way, then we could walk around and really get a feel for the place. Beautiful gardens too! We were extra impressed at the outside information boards which were, get this, hand carved from cork!

Really enjoyed the visit, especially to inhabit the space itself which is quite interesting. The video for the presentation works really well to understand it. Recommend it.

Interested site which provides a peek into how people enjoyed their bath few hundreds years ago. Watch the video to learn how the water/steam flows from the river through rooms with different teampratures.

Exciting archeological site. Some videos further explain the engineering features of the place. It takes only 10 minutes to watch, and it is shown underground so it is a great opportunity to cool a little. The garden is pretty and there were plenty of plans blooming.

For me, this was the absolute highlight of Ronda. The town is certainly worth visiting without, but the Arab baths were just something else. At 700 years old, they look as if they could quite easily be started up again, with a minimum of effort. If you are visiting Ronda, definitely don't skip these.

Sizable baths look like built yesterday and if the ceramic tiles have not been stolen they can be used today. Water supply and distribution , heating and sewage systems of great performance, design and high skill people who built it on a very high above sea level town. The Arabs have to revisit their history and see what happened to them since then they walk backwards

Amazing conservation of the baths. On the last room there is a short video that explain the functioning of the building with a bit of history that really helps understanding the area. Really very well done. Went there first week of June, great activity for hot days as it keeps cool inside.

A short visit, as it’s a small site but worth a half hour stop whilst in Ronda - make sure you watch the video as it adds perspective ;)

Very small, small bath room with nothing. You can finish visit within 5 minuto. 4,5 Euro, too expensive for this small visit compared with other places in Spain. I would say this is fraud for visitors. If you don't want to throw money to water, I will be happy to be a good man to advice you to save money for here.

Worth a stop if you are willing to walk down then back up, the stairs from puente nuevo. Access presentlly costs 4.5 Euros, but they will let you in to walk around on the main level for a few minutes for free if you arrive just before they close for siesta (2 or 3 pm).

Park your car down at the hill. Take the south side up to Ronda, but stay on the lower level. You will see the Arab baths on your right. Lovely place

Recommend you to watch the video they play to understand the structural design and history. Small archeological site, nice to visit though.

Very reasonable price, well preserved archeological remains and a solid video explanation of what the site was used for that makes you properly understand what each part means.

Quite Interesting place to visit and learn about old arabic baths. During the visit you will have opportunity to see a movie how these old ruins were working hundred years ago.

I had a wonderful time visiting the Arab baths, an archaeological site that showcases the history and culture of the region. The baths date back to the 11th century, when the city was under Muslim rule, and they were used as a place for socializing, hygiene and religious rituals. It was fascinating to walk among the ruins and imagine how people used to live and relax in these spaces. The video they showed was very informative and explained the significance of the baths and their architectural features, such as the vaulted ceilings, the skylights and the heating system. The only thing to keep in mind is that most of the site is outdoors, so you might want to dress according to the weather. I went on a sunny day and it was very pleasant, but I can imagine it may rain in other seasons. I highly recommend this attraction to anyone who is interested in learning more about the Arab influence in Spain. It was a unique and memorable experience.

Nice but not spectacular. They are half ruins! If you have ever been to Bath (Roman baths) in UK you will see the difference.

Lovely historical site! Took a nice morning walk from where we were staying, and visited. Affordable entry cost, informative video about the construction of the baths, self guided tour of the grounds, and a few feline friends! Gorgeous views, tranquil atmosphere. A must visit!

The walk from ronda to arab baths is marvelous. Walking in a garden, the old bridge... The monument is very interesting. A 10 min movie to tell the story, and you can take gorgeous pictures

Small but intriguing ruins of what must have been a beautiful building. The arches and ceilings still are. A leaflet and explanatory film are both available in English. Worth the entrance price of €4.50.

Amazing engineering! the place is in good shape, the video expains how things worked very well. make sure to go see the "tower" from where the water was "extracted" and the mini viaduct (in the garden, outside) also, you can better see the "boiling room" from the garden through a small "window" (more like a fences openning near the ground)

A very nice archeological site and museum. The restaurative work has been done exquisitely, so that one gets a good feeling of how these Arabian bath houses used to work and look, while maintaining the awareness of the time passed and their impressive age. The visit can well be done in 30-40 minutes. Staff is very friendly!

It's mental because you're outside in summer in 35+° weather and then you step inside the shaded area and it's instantly 12°, makes you think a lot about modern air con and building design since this is about 1000 years old

  • 4/5 vn V. 1 year ago on Google
The place is quite interesting because of the history behind it, a video does explain you how they got the water from the river and use it in the baths. Pretty impressive to think how they could be that skilled back then

Great service when we entered. A very helpful guide who gave the kids a play guide. There is a short video of the history of the place in Spanish and English. Unfortunately the ruins are just that. A 3 min view and its done. But the walk up and down to the centre has the most amazing views.

Ancient baths in beautiful condition, definitely worth a visit. The film, alternating in English and Spanish, is quite helpful. Be sure to view the tower and aqueduct in the area behind the bathhouse.

The movie is very good with a lot of information, information provided on nice stone plates. The price is acceptable.

Be prepared for some walking to get here. Not so much in distance but up some steep hills. However, once there you'll find one of the best intact examples of these types of baths. Unfortunately some of the signs have sun damage and you cannot see or read them but this is worth a visit if you are into this sort of thing.
