The first impression of this so called 'bakery' is quite impressive, however upon closer inspection of the food itself you will be left sorely disappointed. Sandwiches are on display, made to look fresh with fillings of cheese and ham though that's about your only option! When asked if we could just have a cheese sandwich, a demand that would not seem out of the remit of a bakery, we were told that they could not make one and instead they suggested that we order a ham and cheese sandwich and take the ham out! Not at all appropriate for a vegetarian of course. Not only this, but when our orders were placed the woman serving simply reached in and grabbed the sandwiches with her bare hands. Anyone who is even remotely concerned with their hygiene would be insulted at this point! Things only worsened when the interior seating area was covered in flies - not something you want to see in a bakery that displays its goods out in the open. I am sitting here in the bakery itself surrounded by a swarm of flies with an uneaten sandwich, wondering how such a simple dish could go so wrong. I am however a firm believer that a review should provide an element of advice and mines would be to go to the Burger King around the corner, it can only be better.

Great selection of cakes, after a lesson in how to make an English tea for an English man we were all good, catch them late in the afternoon and you’ll get a bargain.

Breakfast - Busy, but not too busy for one member of staff to be sitting having a break and another chatting on WhatsApp whilst serving! Tables piled high with dirty plates and cups. First napoletana was baked some time on the previous day, as hard as a breeze block. I love granier but avoid this one.

Worst Granier I've ever been to. They refused me access to their outside seating because I didn't have my COVID passport. I live in Spain and know the rules, we only need to show our passport if we want to sit inside. On top of that, the employee telling me I need my QR code to sit outside wasn't even wearing his mask (while he was inside). It seemed like they didn't want to be bothered so we took our order to go.

Staff was nice and prices were OK too. This pastries chains may make sense in big cities as Madrid but not so much in tiny old villages as Ronda. Just try to find a local cafe or bakery where you may find a more authentic experience.

Scammers. Avoid them. Ordered 2 coffe with milk and got charged 2.40 while they where displaying an offer for 2 coffy with milk + 2 snacks for 2.00. Pointless wasting time to ask to get the snack and the correct price at that point.

Must have breakfast here, if you are in Ronda !
