This tea buying center is centrally located along the road within the Omogonchoro area. In the local language, it is referred to as "etundubari" where majority of farmers in the catchment areas sell their tea leaf. The challenging part is that on many occasions, farmers would wait for so many hours as the collection trucks don't finish to collect the plucked tea leaves from nearby buying centers easily. If you regularly pass on the road to Nyamira, many of the days you would see farmers sitting on the veranda of the Omogonchoro tea buying center waiting for the trucks. And of course, when the truck finally arrives, there is usually the ensuing struggle of the farmers to grab sacs for packing their tea leaves, ready for weighing.

They produce good tea and also sell tea leaves at discounted prices.
