Cute little cafe opposite the hub. Lot’s of sitting options. Weekends is quite busy and most tables are reserved. But you’ll find a spot of you are too picky.

Ambiance is great. Super natural and peaceful! The wraps and food are delicious and the service is fast as well. Highly recommend the feta and cheese wraps!!! Slightly on the pricier side.

The food was waaaaaay better than I expected. Both the steak and the burger were amazing. The sweet potato wedges also tasted like they were fulfilling their destiny. Would definitely visit again.

I had the most wonderful experience here today! The food was astonishingly amazing. I ordered the creamy feta and coriander crepe (in pic) and my friend ordered the curried fish taco. I preferred the fish taco which was more flavorful because of the curried spice even though both were delicious. They have a brilliant system of self-serve assortment of salads which was even more delicious than our mains! The delicate balance of spices, nuts and soaked seeds (better for digestion), fermented veggies, dried fruit, pulses and grains was thoughtfully well paired in the 5-6 types of salads served. The food was so delicious, I found it hard to focus on my friend's conversation!! The service was excellent. Our waitress was knowledgeable about the ingredients, empathetic to my food sensitivities, and efficient in our orders. The food was served in good timing, with our fresh juice and smoothie (no additives or syrup) to start and shortly followed by our food. The atmosphere was perfect with a mix of outside seating with a small children's playground, lovely patio seating and relaxing beautifully decorated seating inside with couches and another children's play area indoors. The setting is lovely, tucked in a compound shared with a furniture shop and Mama Rocks. We sat there for hours!

Calm and serene atmosphere, I always come here for a slightly late lunch. The salads are amazing.I absolutely love the one with quinoa. They serve healthy food so no potato chips only sweet potato and they're equally as good, if not better! The seating area is open, you can sit outside on the terrace, in the garden or inside(it looks like a lovely sitting room in a cabin somewhere) You can also bring your dogs here! It's inside a lush green area, you almost forget you are in the city. They close early, so perfect for breakfast and lunch, late or otherwise.

The staff is super fast in their service delivery. Surprsingly the prices are affordable considering its location in Karen. Their smothies are something to die for, carry atleast 1,000KES it should cater for everything you might need.

Standards have really dropped. The table next to ours left disappointed as they were not served after 1 hour of waiting. This place was known for its super salads but now they are slumping on ingredients and cutting costs. To top it off, our bill came back miscalculated as well. Highly recommend that people avoid until they can raise the quality of food and service again.

This place was suggested by a colleague, as it's close to my workplace. So decided to visited in on a sunny Saturday afternoon. Not very crowded. Warm welcome and got a good table, under the shade of a tree. The place has great outdoor lighting. If you're lucky, some squirrels and hens may keep you company (not in a bad way). We ordered the Feta & Coriander Crepe with Chicken and today's special smoked chicken breasts. The lunch entrées are served with 'help yourself salad' from the salad menu, which I didn't find very appealing. The food however wasn't bad. The chicken was a bit dry, but the server made it up with some nice extra sauces. The staff is amicable, friendly and helpful. Food is good, but would prefer some more/better/savory sideline options like fries or mashed potatoes. Had some nice artsy shops around also.

What an overrated place. Went there because of good reviews, and after leaving I was doublr checking if we were at tight place. Cozy atmosphere, chill vibe. Service was below standard, nobody cared to clean our table after coming several times. Pancake with teaspoon of nutella or something similirar for 9$? We are now i our 4* hotel Sheraton Nairobi Four points, having pancakes again, because we left so unsatisfied from Tin Roof.. will definitely avoid. Shops nearby are for tourist only..not bad though

Located right opposite The Hub Karen. If you like an old British, rustic and classic restaurant, Tin Roof Café is the place to be. Very chilled out, serving great food and drink, indoor and outdoor play area for kids.

I have always looked forward to visiting Tin Roof. Seeing the place got me exited and I couldnt wait for my son to give the play area a go... Then it all fell apart-It begun with service, the waitress serving us was cold, self absorbed, uninterested and seemed keen on guiding us on the menu offering by leading with the prices(fun fact: they charge for hot water) My friend and I were literally rushed out of the premise. I got the vybe Tin roof would much prefer the foreign crowd which is quite unfortunate because they are open in my town. I wouldn't recomend it to a friend or family. Absolutely dissapointed.

Very pricey considering the quantity and quality of food. Also, the place is not that clean. I had the fish and chips which was around 2,000.00. One milkshake served in a 300ml glass is 600 shs. The Male toilet (one single toilet) was lacking a seat so if you need to do anything but a short call you will have a problem! The location itself is nice. However, their service is lacking. This is not due to the waiters being slow. It is due to them being understaffed. For the amount they charge there are far better options in Nbi.

I love this place!!! The food is always homemade and the salads change daily. It's truly a unique place with a cozy surrounding. The food is always healthy and organic with a day to day special selection of salads... If you're ever close to hardy I'd recommend this place over any other.

Interesting menu but not very tasty. Food quality seems to have dropped from year ago. Had beef straccetti and kasava pancakes. Overpriced!

Warm. Cosy. Affordable. Artsy space for that discerning palette. Perfectly located at House of Treasures Emporium, Tin Roof Cafe is reminiscent of a location you can only encounter in books and voila you’re in a new world enjoying great food, a great ambience with one of the youngest chefs I’ve met Karanja serving up a heavenly storm of great delicacies.

I loved their wraps. The place is very relaxing with green trees and flowers. The playground is fantastic for kids. Felt what I considered mild discrimination as the waiter asked to move us to a less desirable table to accommodate a family that had come with their dog where we were seated. Asked for the bill, ordered no more, and left in disappointment, not sure it was a fair ask. I think I will go back only for the wraps.

I appreciated the simplicity and functionality of this space. I spent a pleasant afternoon there, decent vegan and vegetarian options. I got a margarita pizza and supersalad. This was cool because it was small portions of the three different salads of the day. Kudos to promoting sustainability by charging for boxes and writing on the menu "feel free to bring your own containers for take away." I'd go again.

Tin Roof has a lovely leafy vibe, a great play area for kids including a trampoline, and a cosy indoor space with a fireplace for when it's cold. Unfortunately, that's where the good points end. Been coming here for a few years now and during that time the quality of the food and service has really declined. Currently, the quality of the food and drinks is pretty poor on average, which is made worse by the fact that they're overpriced. Added to that, the service is very slow. On my last visit it took 15 minutes to even see a menu. All in all the place has excellent potential, but currently it really needs to improve its core service.

The service and atmosphere is great plus it's dog friendly. However, the food isn't as great as it used to be and in particular the vegan options. The salad bar was great though so would recommend that.

Talk about a diamond in the ruff! Who would have known that this gem is located in this little corner. Green power juice is bad, along with those fries. Yes, chef, you are #1

I arrived in the morning and waited forever before I got my order taken. Eventually I got to order the smashed avo on toast and it was delicious. Hours later after I got some work done and wanted to order a coffee and a main, I was ignored perpetually whilst other people’s orders were taken (people who happened to be foreign). Exasperated by this bad service, I went on to ask for my bill. This was still an insane experience that dragged on for an hour. The food was good but I’d never come back. The service is atrocious. I highly do not recommend

Honestly, the 1150ksh priced pizza was literally ONE SLICE, I can get a 14inch for that, the fries were more in quantity than the pizza. The veg and beef burger was okay, the only saving grace. The interior looks like my grandmas living room, literally no one sat inside.
