LOVELY
HOTEL
IN
THE
SUBURBS
OF
NAIROBI!
---We
recently
stayed
at
Hemingway’s
for
3
nights.
---The
spacious
rooms
are
huge-
featuring
a
seating
area
and
private
terrace.
There
is
a
beautiful
bathroom
with
abundant
closets.
The
décor
is
furnished
attractively.
---The
service
at
the
hotel
is
superb.
All
the
staff
have
great
attitudes.
---We
ate
dinner
at
the
hotel
in
their
lovely
outdoor
area
every
night.
The
food
was
delicious.
Thank
you
to
our
waiters-Gideon,
Paul
and
Victor
for
your
great
service
you
provided.
---My
only
suggestion
would
be
to
improve
the
breakfast
buffet
in
the
morning
especially
the
pastries
and
breads.
---We
had
two
butlers,
Dennis
and
Kennedy
who
were
very
attentive.
---Be
sure
to
make
time
for
the
Spa.
The
massages
we
had
were
fabulous
and
also
very
reasonably
priced.
Thank
you
to
Belta
and
Mary.
I
also
had
a
manicure
by
Winnie
who
was
great.
---We
also
enjoyed
going
to
the
upstairs
outdoor
Bar
for
drinks
and
Jacinta
waited
on
us.
She
is
a
lovely
lady!
---Our
room
was
cleaned
to
perfection
by
housekeeping.
---There
is
a
great
gift
shop
in
the
hotel
that
had
wonderful
products.
---Thank
you
also
to
Shelia
(Assistant
Manager)
Linet
(Hostess),
Bernard
(waiter
at
breakfast),
and
Dennis
(Director
of
Housekeeping)
---We
had
the
pleasure
of
meeting
the
General
Manager,
Richard
Kaimenyi
who
runs
a
wonderful
hotel.
---For
activities
in
Nairobi
we
went
to
Sheldrick
Elephant
Orphanage.
It
was
crowded
and
we
were
ready
to
leave
after
10
minutes.
After
seeing
elephants
on
our
Safaris
it
was
a
letdown.
They
do
have
a
great
gift
shop
there
with
adorable
t-shirts.
---The
highlight
of
sightseeing
for
us
was
the
Karen
Blixen
Museum
that
we
found
so
fascinating.
The
Karen
Blixen
Museum
was
once
the
centre
piece
of
a
farm
at
the
foot
of
the
Ngong
Hills
owned
by
Danish
Author
Karen
and
her
Swedish
Husband,
Baron
Bror
Blixen-Finecke.
The
museum
belongs
to
a
different
time
period
in
the
history
of
Kenya,
and
later
gained
international
acclaim
with
the
release
of
the
movie
‘Out
of
Africa’,
an
Oscar
winning
film
based
on
Karen’s
autobiography
by
the
same
title.
We
had
a
wonderful
guide
who
explained
everything
in
detail
before
we
went
in
the
house.
Her
house
that
you
will
visit
is
all
intact
like
it
was
when
she
lived
there.
---We
also
enjoyed
going
to
the
Kazuri
Beads
Factory
that
we
loved
visiting.
It
is
a
huge
factory
where
they
make
beautiful
jewelry
from
clay
and
provide
employment
to
over
300
single
mothers
in
Kenya.
You
will
see
step
by
step
process
how
beads
are
made
and
there
is
a
wonderful
shop
to
buy
beads
at
end
of
the
tour.
The
ladies
all
sing
and
dance
that
was
very
entertaining.
