A good location to take the kids for a few hours outing. They have a good zoo, bird and snake park with lots of animals, the lions put on quite the show when we went last. The amusement park is pretty good and they also have a good bar and decent restaurant. The general amenities are also quite good and clean. Definitely worth checking out

Took out kids for a fun weekend. Must commend the place. Cares for the kids needs. Cares for grown ups. Service and even the team are friendly and prompt, and even served the young ones with medical attention when they needed it. They later joined the rest in the fun activities. Excellent.

You guys need someone at the entrance to explain to people the facility’s full amenities. The maintenance of this place and especially at the kids play area is zero! There was garbage dumped near the pay area and some of the rides are rusted and too dangerous for the kids to play on. The train even had missing wheels and live wires! A disaster is awaiting to happen

The place is amazing but few of the waiters are slower and my bill was higher than what I consumed,,I payed though,,but please be checking your bills before paying to ensure that they have not added something else apart from what you ordered.

Great for a time off from your normal schedule and routines. Also, they have different activities for different age groups, heated swimming pool and many other amenities. The floating restaurant is an incredible idea.

The service team need more training on customecare and service!the one who took our order was not the one who served us neither was it the one who cleared our table nor checked out our bill. We literally were begging for their attention from the time were sat down to the time we left.i am sure some rogue clients have left without clearimg their bills taking advantage of the not so keen service team.

The Animal park is impressive. Kudos to the team taking care of the wide range of exotic animals. Much respect for having them very well taken care of. We went on the mini train roller coaster ride with our 3 year old. That put me off. The safety protocols felt slack and the roller coaster itself had a worn out feel and the whole time I thought we were about to topple off. Other than that the other rides look decent and safe enough. The bouncy castles and Virtual Reality booths are impressive. They have a wide range of food options too. Hope to try more activities next time

A recreational Park in Karen. That has a children's playing park, a floating restaurant and themed animals. The restaurant also has good food, great vibes πŸ‘Œ, courteous and friendly staff and a quaint serene environment for relaxation. You should pay a visit to this Restaurant if you happen to be in Karen off Lang'ata Road.

I likes the animal park especially the snake park. The food was okay. One has to visit several times so as to enjoy all the amenities.

Good experience and nice food, but the pool needs to be improved and cleaned better. The location is great, and the variety of games for kids to play is good and well priced

This is the WORST hotel I have visited so far. The waiters are very RUDE, they are pathological liars. I visited the facility during the Christmas season. They wanted me to make a double payment while paying for the their Santa platter which was full of lies. The food quality was TERRIBLE and full of empty promises. Upon asking one of the waiters ( EVANS) about it he was rude to us and he did not have the answers to the questions. Can we even not talk about the food quality, it was mediocre. There fries were soaked with oil making them look like mashed potatoes (mukimo) in other words. Ooh! How about the plates! Lemme not mention that they served us in party plates and mixed their soaked fries with roasted potatoes that looked like they were prepared the previous day. The chicken was halfly cooked, hence we ended up not eating at all. The loitotok goat which we had ordered a kilogram came as five pieces of meat which was full of bones. They are claiming to have floating restaurants yet their are only four floating restaurants which you have to pay an extra fee to access them. VISIT THIS FACILITY AT YOUR OWN RISK !!!!!!

The place is very good. The services over the Christmas eve were not good. I bought goat meat but it ended up being beef and to make it worse it that it was rotten. But generally the place is good. They can improve on those areas aforementioned.

I met a lady by the name Cynthia at the kids section, I had misplaced my house keys she was the rudest receptionist I've ever encountered, she's this chubby lady with a huge gap on her teeth. She wasn't helpful at all and ended up being the worst to the point of saying sikuja hapa kukuchunga kama mtoto.

A little update We tried the heated pool and for adults it's 1000 and 500 for kids then you can have access to a trainer but at a fee. The race cars are 500 per head and the driver needs to produce a driving license Three rounds. The train ride is 200 per kid adults sit in for the babies safety. That plate of fries be 300 sausage hapo ni 150

The place has very many amenities featured to enjoy, an animal park with a bird sanctuary that holds birds of different species, a snake park, fish pond, lions, crocodiles tortoise, turtles, e.t.c . It also has VR games, large swings, bumper cars, slides, an indoor heated pool, a dam with floatels and boat riding, conference halls and a garden restaurant.

Stedmak is a big property but the manager clearly looks poor. Once you get in, there is a child atmosphere vibe but a parent who takes the child alone things of the hygiene and safety of all the play items. Most kids who visit come with teachers and there for in large numbers . I think for example if a kid cuts themselves on the rusty slides, how will the infection be. We paid to go into the zoo which was a total waste of money. 1000 for residents and 2000 for non residents. Inside there is more of different birds, chicken, rabbit, tortoise, monkeys and snakes. When you move from this caged area thinking it gets interesting we move to 5 caged lions that seem unbothered, 2hyenas, ostrich, lama, waterbuck, then we soon in the exit gate. We moved to the floating restaurant where we were informed that the floating boats were under maintenance but we shortly so groups getting in. We sat at the furthest corner which they call Island or beach and the service was very slow. Our drinks took too long, we ordered for coffee and they brought a flask of water with a few sachets. The place looks poorly maintained. Not a child friendly area, I mean not for crawling kids. The place needs to shut down and do a general cleaning and maintenance of kids playing area.

The garden and animals are always so much fun to see. My kids love the snake park. There was no guide for us this time which was ok, but if you first go, ask for a guide. The fun park was just opening back up, my kids really enjoyed it as well. It does look a little run down, it could use some upkeep and fresh painting.

It is a place where you go for nyama choma and that's it....which is also over priced. A ramshackle place which has kind of sprouted up all over with lots of disorganisation. It's evident the place is put up only to make money......then maybe provide some service or outing. There are many better places in Nairobi to go enjoy

First of all it's ALOT ... there is a kids play area where there is some mini roller coasters some merry go rounds and a kids play ground.. there is several restaurants and bars the most famous being the floating restaurants...there is an open ground for weddings and such ...there is also halls for conferences and meetings plus there is an adults play area with a mini train ...a 3 wheeler sports car 3D and 9D virtual reality activities ... There is even bread and breakfast accomodations... There is an animal zoo too with a huge python, lions cheetah antelopes llamas too ... Basically kids would love it here

Loved the swimming pool, not too crowded and heated. Life guards are alert. Service is friendly and helpful. Relative safety over unattended luggage. Overall liked the experience. Wouldn't mind going back and trying sth new esp foodwise.

The place is nice, has variety in activities available and restaurants have good food. However their heated pool facilities are wanting. They charge a price of KES. 1000 for using the pool and they don’t even give towels for that price. Their changing rooms and bathrooms are dirty and smelly and the manager was not available to discuss this. I would not recommend their pool facilities unless they fix these issues.

Kids zone ( at behind of the crocodiles ), zoo, restaurant, everything is entwined. The place is neglected, the door of the toilet does not close, the faucet does not work. I give these 4 starts for the lions n all the animals, actually they deserve 1M starts. I fell in love with Lion Sunny, he came from Masai Mara in Kenya. He is 1y 8mths. He is very cute, I played a with him from behind the glass πŸ₯³. This place gives u a chance to see the lions very closely.

Visited over the weekend and loved it. It is no wonder it is packed. One size fits all, good for the kids and the adults. We got good service from our waitress, good food and good ambience on the pond side. The heated pool is definitely a plus, though the kids will NOT want to leave πŸ˜…. The pool is crowded but the life guards are on top of their game. Have to come back and sample the rest of the options; the animal park and the play park with the assortment of rides. All in all definitely a yay for me!

  • 4/5 Ingred A. 2 years ago on Google
If you want your kids to have fun this is the to-go place, I don't like their menu, and the things indicated on their menu like sandwiches are always unavailable. The idea of paying separately for kids to have fun is also pointless! Children's play area should be part of the package! Their waiters are also very slow and look untrained!

  • 4/5 Johntez N. 1 year ago on Google
The place is beautiful and well located. After a long day excursion decided to stop for lunch then later check out the animals and facilities they have. My clients were interested in Indian food or just simple vegetarian meals. It wasn't the best experience as waiters struggled to explain which vegetarian food was available. Menu's were not available and waiters would run around searching for them in the old cabinets. The waiter explained Indian chef's are only available on weekends. Something they should put up next to the Indian cuisine advertisement to avoid any confusion or inconvenience. Generally a good place and would visit again but the company should improve communication and deliver what they promise through advertisement (either poster, banner or any other form of advertisement) Overall it is a good place and alot of activities for Kids/families. Comments based on restaurant service only as I had to leave. Highly recommended.

Giving it a 2 star because of the guide, Susan on the animal park side who was really amazing and the variety of games/activities the kids can do. Otherwise the customer service was horrible, food took too long, we had a very unbothered waitress, Cynthia, who was especially not concerned about the specific orders for the toddler and we seemed to have been bothering her overall. Food also wasn't too great- greens were undercooked and tasteless. In summary if you have kids, eat elsewhere and take them there to see the animals and play.

Visited just to have launch with a few friends and we loved the experience. It has a warm pool for kids to play in and there's also a floating dining experience you can try out too. I tasted the Tilapia fish and Mbuzi Choma and really enjoyed it too.

This place looks great πŸ‘ πŸ‘Œ and there is ample parking and the children play safely and it's very clean πŸ‘Œ thanks. Swimming πŸŠβ€β™‚οΈ pool, very fabulous πŸ‘Œ

Stedmak is a pretty nice place. I take my daughter there for swimming mainly. The pool is big and heated, although fairly busy especially on weekends and it could do with raising the temperature slightly as I have heard kids complain it's still too cold including my own. I like that you can get food at the pool which is reasonably priced. I give it a three star on the basis that the pool is not clean enough. I think the pictures make it look better than it is as when i swum I found I could barely see as it was cloudy. There are lots of other activities to do here and also nice that it's all located in one place.

If you want to learn about different animals ans birds and eat on a floating restaurant, then this is the place to be. The staffs are so friendly. Is it your first time? Don't worry, there is a guide by the name Troy. He is friendly and will tell you about the birds and animals. His knowledge and passion for gis work stood out. πŸ‘
