Cozy, kind, welcoming. We arrived late and welcomed with smiling faces. A plate of homemade sweets in our room was a nice way to finish a long flight. The vervet monkeys were active in the morning leading up to a delicious breakfast. Our visit was too short for the time required to enjoy the well decorated cozy atmosphere of the lodge.

Just the most amazing place to stay and eat! Service is fantastic. I arrived sometime after midnight and was met by James who showed me my room, offered to get food for me, and just was the nicest man. I am sorry I didn’t get to chat with him more! The food was just wonderful, nothing was too much trouble for the amazing staff. . If I am ever lucky enough to back in Nairobi this will be my choice to stay again. The rooms are quiet, very comfortable, and the outside areas are so restful and picturesque .thanks to all for a great experience!

Home away from home, Stephen was an incredible host, making sure every drink and meal was top notch. This is definitely one of the best places I’ve ever stayed.

Quiet 6 roomed establishment with a pool,large grounds and a decent restaurant.

Macushla house is the place to stay in Nairobi. It is close to the giraffe house, elephant orphanage and the Matbronze. The staff is excellent and the food is amazing. The rooms are so comfortable. We saw monkeys, warthogs, and tree hyrax on site. It only has around 6-7 rooms so book well in advance. Peter, Milicent, Wilson and Stephen were fantastic to us our whole stay.

It's very pretty and peaceful, however the service was a bit slow. I would go back though, I really liked it.

If you don’t like crowds, this is where you want to go! Great decor! Great outdoor spaces awesome for private photo shoots.

Very nice guesthouse on the outskirts of Nairobi. Had a lovely quiet night there, friendly staff, & great food. Excellent location for visiting the Giraffe Centre & Sheldricks.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the lovely, boutique Macushla House in July 2023 very much! The staff is welcoming, the accommodations comfortable, and the meals were delicious.

This hidden gem offers a serene and tranquil atmosphere. The intentional curation of art creates a wonderfully homely ambiance. Quick service, and Peter, our friendly waiter, ensured our utmost comfort. The fresh and delicious food further elevated the experience. I'll certainly be returning!

Paul was the best connoisseur ever. This place is very quaint and personalized for each guest. I'd definitely go back.
