Today I discovered a new hot drink in the Rongai Annex: "Dawa" I only knew as a cocktail so far. Rongai Dawa is characterised by the spiciness of ginger, the freshness of lemon and the colour of turmeric! My clear recommendation for rainy days or emerging cold 👍🏾 Add in February 2023: Meanwhile service and availability of some kind of food has changed. Unfortunately I would not recommend a visit there.

The place is over hyped! I was completely underwhelmed by the food and level of service. Ordered grilled chicken (which was on the menu) and got deep fried chicken instead, on asking the waitress, she first of all insisted it was grilled and started arguing. Then she took it back to the kitchen and brought it back after 15 minutes cold and cut up into small pieces and said it has been grilled. Not what I expected at all!

Simple grill restaurant where you can eat well grilled meat, which you can choose in advance in the butcher shop next door. So everything is very fresh.

Who would have known? Rongai Annex Bar & Restaurant has also been offering samosa for a short time. I have missed good samosa with meat filling in Ukunda. In the meantime I am happy about a real alternative to the bone soup I like very much 👍🏾.

The female waitresses there charge a 300ml coke ksh.100 but if you buy the same from the bar man it's ksh.70 bob. The bone soup is nice but does not give you the value for that 150. Won't recommend to anybody.

The waitresses acts as if they own the whole universe. Ordered Pilau, it took so long to be brought.. The Pilau doesn't match the price they charge coz I can rate it 2 out of 5. The waitresses are rude. Will never eat here again!!!!!

Average food. Very reasonable prices. The open space with cool fresh air is a bonus

There very delicious foods from this place, the place is very clean and well organized,very welcoming workers and it has a nice view of the roundabout, the gate mall and many more buildings 😍. Best place for outing 😘💏

Rongai restaurant is a place to be ...near the road...and you will find anything that you would like to eat over there .. security..wise .. perfect..

You can find good nyamachoma (barbecue) here therefore good for local dining. Service is fairly fast. Good place of you are up to open space dining; the restaurant is not enclosed. Gets packed during football season. It is an overall fairly priced eating house.

Beer and Nyama choma. The ultimate experience.
