Carrefour Mega is located on Mombasa road at the previous location where Nakumatt Mega was. The place is huge, neat ,well stocked ,they have an amazing team of staff,variety of products,the aisle are well spaced and huge enough to accommodate many customers at ago. They are the true definition of everything under one roof sea food,fresh vegetables, household goods, fresh food, bakery,liquor store, dedicated express counters for people buying less items,wheel chair access,clothing section, electronics, name it all. If you previously knew Nakumatt then this is Nakumatt on steroids. Carrefour is the biggest supermarket in Kenya and has the most discounts on literally all items.

This was my best store while in Kenya. I would recommend anyone buying stuff to get them here if you’re going upcountry. Their prices are magical. It’s well spaced and great teller services. For once I could breath again while shopping. 👌🎉🎊

Helpful security to find empty parking slots. Also security personnel is always patrolling the parking giving you assurance your vehicle will be safe. Counters are sometimes fast or slow depending on traffic. Bought LG product and was served very well by Purity. She understood the products very well. Overall it was a nice shopping experience from the parking to payment. Oooh!!! And the place is well stocked.

Limited parking some is free some is not but if you shop at the Supermarket then you can get free parking after spending KES 3k and above. The supermarket is well stocked and spacious. A very hygienic place.

It’s one of the biggest Carrefour along Mombasa road as you exit down. Has pretty much everything you need. Outside parking can be abit messy on busy shopping days however they have a basement parking is would be the most ideal. Being so close to a main road is both advantageous and disadvantageous. The advantage is it’s strategically located. On your way home if you live along Mombasa road ie Syokimau you can easily quickly pick something. On the other side being too close to the road means alot of traffic on busy days and getting in can be a little tricky. Other than that’s it’s one if the best Carrefour have been to in Nairobi.

Well stocked. Wide aisles. However the staff at check out are preoccupied. Stood for about 20min on a weekday afternoon. First the client being checked out was suddenly shifted, packer just asked we shift back to allow movement. No other guidance or help. 2nd queue again was a customer who had picked things and wanted stuff exchanged. Staff humoured this customer's demands. Our turn, after the long wait was met by zero greeting, let alone an acknowledgement of the delay. Worse, teller is conversing with the client after us. Only after I pay does a fleeting "thank you " escape from the teller. Not the only time I have camped at check out. Moreover queues are designated for cash, card or mpesa. So even if there is an empty queue you must wait for the one with your payment method. Very little cheer here. Not my favorite shopping place.

Terrible experience with staff! I asked more than 10 staff about where products are they ALL have no clue. There has been no training provided for them and they are all so lazy and laid back. They have no idea what's going on in the supermarket

Located in a really accessible place close to the highway. Has a variety of products and very helpful staff. Closes at midnight which is convenient for late night shopping and has a large parking space

They have a wide range of things at affordable prices. You might miss certain items but you'll get alternatives to compensate. I appreciate the wide range of pet food as it helped me experiment with different brands. Their prices and offers are worth checking out and saving some coins. Two things I didn't like is that, one, they don't sell sour candy in packets instead you have to get the weighed one. It makes it hard to know which brand of sour candy you're getting with that system. I prefer them in individual packets and branded. The second thing that irked me is seeing parents let their kids cough and touch the candy on display at the check out place. I wouldn't be too excited about buying any candy or getting any item placed at the check out point. This is highly unhygienic!

I love the varieties , arrangement and everything especially the weekend offers. The only disappointment I had was online 3 times I have ordered items online with very bad experience . From delivery done after almost 3 days reason they were busy. And getting wrong items which they give you as an alternative. And the huge one was my refund after purchasing and delivered wrong blender. The back and forth was really not worth it . Online customer service was the worst experience ever!!. I will never recommend online shopping for electronic items just go there and purchase.also more customer less cashiers . They need to work on that because others have little time on lunch break the whole hour is wasted at the cashier.

The priority queue was having a queue and carrefour mega staff, a young pleasant lady came and assisted me to not only push my trolley to another cashier but also assist in loading the items for a quick checkout. I was impressed by her compassion for me in my condition. Thank you

One of the worst service in this branch(Mega). Give the veggies and fruits for weighing and price labeling but the labelling is not sticked and RETURNED it as it is. At the check out counter the staff informs you forgot to put price labelles. Then when you go back to get price stickers, the staff there pretends as if they didn't see you and continue to do something else. If you call then the two staffs are competing saying you go, you go.. Making the customer wait for another 5 mints while many other customers are waiting at the counter too. On being asked why he didn't put the price sticker, the staff answers that he forgot. Which clearly is a white lie. What a pity. What a poorly managed branch.

Carrefour Mega is probably the best supermarket in Nairobi as far as pricing is concerned. They also sell delicious food prepared in their kitchen under hygienic conditions. The only issue is parking that can be a problem when there are many shoppers.

Great place for shopping although a little away from the center of town, some sections are quite "under stocked" but from a business point, it is understandable.

Newly opened Carrefour branch at The Mega Mall. It has given a new lifeline to the mall and businesses within. Carrefour supermarket has an upgraded layout that is appealing. It’s spacious, neat and well stocked. Carrefour also has an in-house bistro area, bakery, vegetables market, groceries, butchery & liquor store. They stock high end electronics, furniture, carpets, clothes, watches and accessories. They have a dedicated online shopping orders checkout counters serving Glovo and Jumia Food. There is ample parking.

Since they overtook this place from Nakumatt it has improved a lot in offer, cleanses and customer service

Has the most variety I have seen in a long time! Of you want to check it all out, brace yourself. Wear comfortable walking shoes and carry water and a snack.

It's one of the best nowadays in Nairobi not well stocked like the sarit centre branch but the service is excellent with very good staff to attend to you it make a lovely shopping experience

Nice and convenient shopping mall on Nairobi’s busy Uhuru Highway. The underground parking rates are however very unfriendly... expensive! They have a fake rebate for shoppers who stay longer than an hour, however. Be careful on checkout though; the cashiers are fond of surreptitiously adding ghost items to your shopping cart. Complaints to customer care usually go unresolved.

My ever favorite supermarket. Weekends are the best time to shop one cos of the parking it can be really parked but there more parking spaces at the basement at a fee. Always massive sales over the weekends. The store is quite stocked with most products. The staff always ready to assist. Prices very competitive.

The store is good and well organised but the home delivery services are the poorest. First of all the item takes a week and then the drivers are very dishonest, they'll not deliver on the time he promises as he leaves the store in morning. You spend the whole day waiting for them. Then they tell you they don't carry the item upstairs beyond 1st floor.
