We did a group Safari with 22 Family members and Joel helped us to customize the whole Trip to accomodate our wishes. He was very responsive and helpful with all the crazy questions we had and very patient with us. We totally went blind when we booked with Mufasa, we read their reviews, asked for quotation and went for it, and it was the best decision we made. By Mufasa the small guests are also Welcomed. We had 2 Babies on Board the Jeeps and on request they Provided us with carseats for them which was very practical as the Babies could also experience and discover the animals. We got the best of tour guides, Muturi, Leonard and Kephar. They are a gem. Their knowledge of the animals was impressive. They are kind and friendly. Full of humor and made this whole trip memorable. They made sure we get to see the Big Five in Maasai Mara and Rhinos in Lake Nakuru. They made sure we enjoyed every single moment. We went as a family and they won’t stop praising about the experience. Apart from that they are very helpful to other drivers who are in trouble... Like pulling others out when stuck, helped Others to Change their burst tires... These actions spoke millions. In Maasai Mara we spent 2 nights at Enkorok mara camp, it was a nice experience in the tents. The staff were friendly and the Food was delicious. In Lake Nakuru we stayed at the Lake Nakuru Lodge for 1 night and all was also very nice. We met as strangers but left as friends. Lovely Mufasa Family. MUFASA is without a doubt the best choice we Made.

We just returned from a 5 day Amboseli, Lake Nakuru, and Masai Mara Safari and it was incredible. Our driver Collin was amazing. He was knowledgeable, professional, and safe the entire time. On day one we set a goal of seeing the big 5 (Elephant, Rhino, Lion, Leopard, and Water Buffalo) and by day 3 we had already seen them all (not to mention 100+ other animals like Cheetahs, Hippos, Hyenas, Giraffes, Pythons, Servals, Jackals, and tons more). His keen eye for spotting animals and his knowledge of the routes within each park helped us tremendously. His enthusiasm was contagious and we couldn’t help getting just as excited every morning for the the adventures that laid ahead. Another great asset of Collin’s was his knowledge of photography which helped position us for the best pictures possible. He truly became a friend by the end of our trip and we will really miss him. We could not have asked for a better guide and when we come back we will most certainly request Collin again. We chose the Luxury hotel package that included the Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge, The Cliff Nakuru, and Entim Camp in Masai Mara. The lodges were all great, especially the views from the The Cliff at Lake Nakuru. Each camp greeted us with a warm welcome and the services remained top tier from check in to check out. All rooms were very well maintained and contained better amenities than what we expected while on a safari. We were probably the most surprised by the amazing food. It definitely felt like we were eating at a 5 star restaurant which just added to the already great experience. The alcohol at Entim camp was also all inclusive which was a nice touch. We added a couple of upgrades. One being the Land Cruiser option which we would also highly recommend. The ride was smooth, windows large, and it had great off road capability. The other was the cultural experience where you get to meet a Masai Village. This was very fun with dancing and touring the village. We loved getting to see how the locals live just outside of the Masai Mara park entrance. Mufasa’s front office services have been great. We appreciated the quick replies especially since booking a trip like this from another country in a different time zone during a pandemic can be very stressful. Their transparency while booking lodges was also much appreciated. We felt like we were in good hands and will definitely recommend them if you’re booking a Kenyan Safari. If you’re traveling during Covid, they can also assist you in getting tested for your flight home. Our only regret is not booking an even longer safari.

We had such an amazing time visiting Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru on our 4 day safari in January. Joel was very patient and accommodating as we sorted out our visas for an earlier part of our trip which meant we couldn’t immediately confirm our travel dates in Kenya. Our guide, Hosea, was friendly and very knowledgeable and was able to find all the animals big and small. Without a doubt, would recommend Mufasa to anyone looking to go in safari.

We just came back from Mufasa's Le Grande Safari trip which covers various places in Kenya and Tanzania. We compared Mufasa's price with 2 other US travel companies before we made our decision. Mufasa definitely offers more for what we were paying. The communication was very easy using WhatsApp with Joey. There were 3 of us in the trip but we booked 2 different flights. Unfortunately, one of our flights was delayed for 1 day due to severe weather. We contacted Mufasa while on the road and they were able to quickly adjust our itinerary while letting our friend (no delay) go on the trip as planned. Mufasa also arranged our delayed luggage to be delivered to the Safari while we were on the tour. The travel itinerary is well designed. There is always something different to see every day. The tour guides are extremely professional. They are not normal drivers or guides. They are not only very knowledgeable about the Safari but also taking the time to know our interests and needs. Our Kenya tour guide Kephar is an ammeter photographer, and he knows how to position our car with the right angle for us to take the best pictures. Our Tanzania guide Danford predicted a route with a jackal chasing 2 impalas, so we were able to see the chasing right before our car! Both helped us greatly crossing the Kenya and Tanzania boarder... without them we would have been lost in the chaotic boarder offices :) We took the upper midrange for our hotel choices. All the lodges and camps were very clean and secure. Food was freshly obtained and cooked. This is our first safari experience, and it went so well with Mufasa which has totally exceeded our expectations in every way. We have already remanded it to a few friends and will continue to do so... Thank you Mufasa!

Not my first safari, but I had the TIME OF MY LIFE on my 3-day safari tour to Maasai Mara. My guide DAVID was incredible and outdid himself. We saw two(!) successful cheetah hunts in one day, and all the other big animals. He is soooo knowledgeable and kind, hospitable, punctual, generous with his time, and extremely passionate. Must be the best guide I’ve ever had for anything - I already want to book him again for next September when I return with family. The hotel chosen (Maisha Mara) was also wonderful, staff is incredibly kind, food is amazing and it’s beautiful and comfortable. I wouldn’t change a thing. The whole booking process was super easy, reliable, and just great- thank you, JOEL! I 100% recommend Mufasa!!! Thank you for an experience of a lifetime. A truly amazing experience. From the first contact with Mufasa to being dropped off following our Safari we received a truly professional experience. Regular contact with Joe meant no question went unanswered. Our guide Colin had vast experience of the park and local knowledge, this meant we experienced some breathtaking scenery and the opportunity to capture some spectacular photographic memories. We planned a 6 days safari to Kenya and chose Mufasa Tours based on their very professional website info and all the 5 star reviews we read. Our planner TJay, responded to all our queries and worked on creating a seamless itinerary. They provide a range of boarding depending on one’s budget and we were happy with all of them. There was an issue with the time we were landing in Nairobi and few Tours refused to travel the same day to Maasai Mara due to the park timings But TJay worked on that as well. A special shout-out to our guide, Tony Makau who was absolutely wonderful! Extremely knowledgeable and friendly. He made us feel welcomed and safe. Not only was Tony well versed in all of the wildlife, but he also seemed to know all the best spots to see the animals and was able to spot them no matter how far off they were, he had such an incredible eye! Highly recommend Mufasa tours when looking for a safari in Kenya. Booking and communication was very easy from England, and we found them to be reasonably priced. We visited in March which is wet season but we weren’t disappointed and saw plenty of animals, plus the reserves were - I imagine - a lot quieter than peak season. Excellent standard of accommodation. Our driver Naftalie was professional, drove carefully and was very knowledgeable on where to go within the reserves. He was a good laugh too and we thoroughly enjoyed our time spent with him. Would recommend upgrading to the Land Cruiser for extra comfort.

I have recently returned from 10 days with Mufasa tours being hosted by the wonderful Hosea. The experience was quite simply sensational. Perfect Safari Adventure of a Lifetime! Just landed in Malaysia last night after 8 amazing days of private tour covering Amboseli , Lake Nakuru & Masai Mara. We even witness the Great Migration, nature at its best thanks to Hosea! That’s exactly what you want - someone who would go over and beyond. If this is your first time to a Safari or even if you’re a returning traveller , you’d want Hosea as your guide and Mufasa. Everything is executed to perfection. I booked with Mufasa tours and did a custom trip going to hells gate, Crescent Island and the Masai Mara. I would absolutely recommend Mufasa tours for a few reasons. Their communication is next level and Caroline who is the main contact is exceptional. She is very responsive and will help in anyway she can. She created a custom tour for me at a reasonable price. The lodges I stayed at were incredible ( I highly recommend Zebra plains if offered, it is stunning). The jeep was in excellent condition and there was plenty of water. My guide ( Moses) was excellent and did his best to spot animals. He was a joy to spend three days with. This company is clearly well experienced, is reputable, has an actual office, is responsive and available and I felt safe travelling as a solo female. My family is planning a Safari in 2025 and I will be recommending them to book with and plan a luxury tour. No concerns and no negative comments

Just got back from an amazing 4night/5 day Safari with Mufasa! From start to finish, communication was excellent. I was booking solo , then I had friends join last minute , Joesph was keeping up with my emails and making arrangements for all of us. I found his prices to be very very competitive and offered more for the money and better camps. I was working with about 5-6 operators and he outshined all of them. Words are not enough for our guide Kevin who is a true professional and passionate about his job and the animals. We felt so lucky to have him. A remarkable , fun human being. We had 4 days private safari. Nairobi-Kibera Slums-Amboseli-Naivasha-Nakuru. We had a great hospitality from all the stuff of the company. I appreciate for the perfectly organized individual tour. The service can be conpared to top notch european ones. All my wishes were taken into account and fitted in our journey. Wr have no ideas what camps and logdes to choose and Joseph provided us the great stays for very competitive prices. We negotiated to many companies in Kenya and Mufasa won it because of flexibility and fast responses. And i am happy that service provided was at the highest level. Excellent! I don't even know where to start with this review, because every aspect of my experience with Mufasa Tours was wonderful. Their communication before the trip was great, and gave me fantastic recommendations. When the first lodging fell through (not their fault at all), they immediately found an amazing place. They set me up with an amazing guide, Mike, who was knowledgable, kind, and fun! Every detail of my trip was taken care of by Tony and Joseph. We went to Nairobi National Park and everything from the booking and inquiries to pick up, to the actual game drive were all so fantastic. Our driver Peter, made the entire day so enjoyable. He really went out of his way to do what we wanted and tried to make sure we saw as much as possible. Would recommend mufasa tours and travels for sure.

We had a once in a lifetime experience with Mufasa Travel. Our driver, Tony was very professional safe, and would always make sure we would see something special at each location. We were picked up from our chosen hotel in Nairobi in time, and then the incredible 7 day journey started. I totally recommend checking out Samburu as well, it is a unique experience to travel throughout Kenya and see completely different landscapes. Our accommodations were amazing - the Ashnil camp in Samburu is very cosy and friendly, and the Sopa Lodge in Nakuru was above all expectations. Overall, I am very happy we booked with Mufasa tours, our car was a beast could get through the most difficult terrains, and we felt safe throughout the whole trip. Absolutely fantastic. Our guide Kephar was professional with a great sense of humour and simply brilliant. From the beginning of the booking process, Mufasa supported us with the booking and were never pushy. I never felt that they were trying to pressure me to book any extra excursions. Our tour guide named Nelson was a well experienced driver and has a good luck in spotting animals! We were able to see the Big five (except Rhinos) and many other wild animals in a day! A lion approached to our van and lied under the shade of our van. It was so close that we could almost touch the lion!(of course we didn’t though!) The camp we stayed was Loyk Mara Camp. Full of hospitality and beautiful clean facility. We can’t thank more for making our first Maasai Mara trip so memorable. Our tour operator Joel was also great.
