😐 It is nice but those gate stewards didn't allow us to take photos and there is no any warning sign to show that.... But maybe it's there idleness. People often mention station, road, service,

At the time am writing this, this station is currently not operating since it has not been officially launched.Am just going to give a brief description of what to expect before your visit.Ongata rongai SGR station can be accessed by road depending on the direction you are coming from and the road is kinda off road for most of the part so keep that in mind. For this particular review, I am going to focus my details as from Maasai lodge ,rongai. So,the station is approximately 10km from maasai lodge ,and depending on your means of travel you will head towards Nazarene university (I recommend using google maps for directions). The station is about two KM past Nazarene university and its easy to recognise ,the main entrance is painted Maroon (sorry if its not the exact )....it has got modern building,a secure perimeter wall ,24 hour security personnel. The whole station is digitized to ensure smooth flow of activities. The station offers parking and drop off points so don't worry . In terms of shopping centres incase you wanaa grab something ,currently there aren't many shops around ,just saw one but am sure with time ,..after the launch ,there will be more than enough shops to cater for travellers needs.Hope this will help to get an idea of what the stations is like and if possible ,view the photo sections to get a clearer idea.Thankyou

As usual, and like almost all SGR stations, good infrastructure, poor network. The road to the station is poor and the toilets many times smelly. This will improve with time, hopefully as more people use the stations and as the roads are fixed to increase vehicle/drving population.

The train arrives and departs on time everyday. No congestion at all as there is low traffic. Best alternative to beat traffic from Nairobi to Rongai and Ngong.

Beautiful station, but as usual, maintenance problems have started appearing, especially at the parking lot. Accessibility is also a big problem, this hinders residents from fully utilizing the facility.

Good forward planning. Access roads far behind. Not to be useful for several years.

Upcoming a d its going to be very convenient to the person of Rongai. They should just improve the condition of the road to the station. Its pathetic.

Unfortunately it is unattended, shrubs and grass overgrown in the parking area. Train service to Suswa great but literally crawling!

A smooth ride with exceptional customer service and friendly Stuff. Plus it was my dad's vision in 1999 when we moved to the unknown desert. A true kind David Mutethia. He even made the road with his sons. Mainly, Kevin Mutethia (Special mention bro)
