Kware Market

Market

🫀 The market is congested and very muddy not easily accessible during rainy season. Though there are so many fresh produce something needs to be done by the county government to upgrade/ expand or relocate it somewhere else. This is my opinion though. People often mention market, goods, affordable,

The place is an active commercial centre offering a range of services and goods from different traders, you'll enjoy interacting with the locals and be impressed by busy atmosphere within the area, however low standards of hygiene are maintained through the market.

The market is a good place for business but the infrastructure is really very poor most especially when it rains.

This I'd say is the biggest market serving Kajiado North county. Relatively affordable price on all food, home ware, and imported goods 'mtumba'😎 stuff. You sure won't miss something that you'd be interested in.

Omena Road is the worst when it rains. Word Bank, county government, MP Nkaimurunya ward, the area is in dire need of your help.

Seems like it's going to be a tough January with prices steeping up especially on potatoes, french beans, carrots, peas and a few other variety of veges like the red cabbage, broccoli, cauli flower etc. I guess it's most likely that the subsiding rainfall or lack thereof will definitely affect farm produce hence low supply, high demand and elevated cost of produce that was very affordable prior to Christmas and even much earlier. Only clothing items seem to be doing so well at the moment plus the usual - kale, spinach, spring onions and cabbage. We will just have to survive this January or seek alternative markets - marikiti, kawangware, uthiru - somehow, we still gotta eat and eat healthy at that. All the best survivors!!

An open air market for fresh stuffs. But due to covid I would recommend a cautious visit to the market. Adherence by sellers not really observed
