Typical Kenyan roadside market characterized by overcrowding, chaotic traffic and bad roads. The kind that require gumboots if visiting the area. If you are not into crowded spaces like Gikomba.. Then probably this is not the place for you.

Kware is a highly resourceful market to go for any kind of shopping. From clothes and shoes, to household goods, foodstuffs and high quality fresh groceries, you will definitely get what you are looking for at a fairly affordable price. The only issue with the market is spacing, and it tends to get crowded during peak hours.

Has a great viriety of items ranging from food ,to clothes to shoes you name it( second hand mostly). All the nutritious and indigenous vegetables ( kienyeji) is available there ate parking spots some are free some belong to the city council. Though it is somehow crowded and the paths not Soo spacious. Good place for shopping

Wear some comfortable shoes when going to the market and don't look too *polished* so you don't pay more.

Not a very safe environment, but a great open market, and bus station, be aware of pic pockets

This is a place you can get all sorts of groceries including a wide variety of indigenous greens better known as 'kienyeji' at most friendly prices. Most people prefer to buy a whole week's family shopping at the market for best bargains. You'll also find a section for new clothes and another for low-cost 'mitumba' (second hand clothes) of good quality. If you venture towards Kware Road, you'll find all sorts goods from Kitchenware stores, clothes, general hardwares to electronics shops.

Was so wet with water all over.Buses and matatus were on the stage waiting passengers. So something should be done to renovate this stage and shade for the passengers to hide the rain and hot sun.

The county government should really look into upgrading the markets as times like this rainy season, the market is clogged with mud and water. This is not good as vegetables are sold there on a daily basis and risk of contamination is high.
