To
be
honest
I
did
not
have
a
good
experience
at
Alexandra
dental.
I
had
the
‘Six
month
braces’
for
around
9
months.
Of
course
you
can’t
eat
chewy
or
hard
foods
while
wearing
braces,
but
for
the
entire
9
months
I
had
to
eat
only
extremely
soft
foods
or
liquids
such
as
mash
potatoes
or
soup.
If
I
ate
anything
REMOTELY
harder
like
even
a
wafer
the
brackets
would
snap
off.
All
of
my
sisters
and
many
of
my
close
friends
have
had
braces
and
all
of
them
ate
relatively
normal
for
their
treatment.
Brackets
would
snap
off
randomly
sometimes,
when
I
wasn’t
even
eating,
they
would
break
off
while
I
was
brushing
my
teeth
too.
I
couldn’t
do
anything.
I
had
to
go
back
every
week
sometimes
twice
a
week
to
get
my
braces
glued
back
on.
And
my
dentist
was
always
really
annoyed
at
me
as
if
it
was
my
fault
which
made
me
so
uncomfortable.
I
was
travelling
from
Galway
to
Roscommon
for
this
treatment
so
this
turned
out
to
be
a
way
bigger
expense
than
I
ever
expected
considering
the
days
off
work
too.
I
thought
the
braces
would
break
a
couple
of
times
during
the
entire
treatment
but
they
broke
off
constantly.
I
was
absolutely
miserable
for
the
9
months.
My
diet
became
so
bad
because
I
could
barely
eat
anything.
I
was
explaining
this
to
my
dentist
and
he
was
so
rude
to
me
and
kept
saying
I
was
eating
things
I
shouldn’t
and
getting
angry
at
me,
he
wouldn’t
believe
me
or
try
to
discuss
it.
I’m
already
a
nervous
patient
so
this
didn’t
help.
I
eventually
contacted
Alexandra
dental
themselves
and
explained
my
situation
and
asked
if
I
could
actually
just
have
my
braces
taken
off
and
get
a
refund
for
the
remainder
of
the
treatment.
While
I
now
realise
that
that
was
not
possible
and
I
had
signed
a
contract
to
pay
the
full
amount
so
it’s
fair
enough
that
they
said
no,
however
in
the
manner
it
was
dealt
with
was
completely
unprofessional
and
rude.
My
dentist
rang
me
up
personally
and
gave
out
to
me
over
the
phone
about
what
I
must
be
eating
and
for
going
to
his
colleagues
about
the
problem.
I
was
extremely
uncomfortable
from
then
on
in
the
clinic
with
him.
And
I
felt
like
I
couldn’t
share
my
concerns
with
anyone
there
and
whenever
a
brace
broke
I
was
so
so
nervous
to
go
to
him
about
this.
I
went
to
Alexandra
dental
because
of
the
same
reason
most
people
do,
they
have
a
great
Instagram
following
and
a
lot
of
bloggers
and
public
figures
give
the
place
great
reviews
and
blog
their
treatment
etc.
I
had
followed
the
page
for
years
and
I
really
wanted
to
go
there
because
of
the
reviews
I
seen
and
the
results.
I
saved
up
so
much
money
for
such
a
long
time
and
specifically
chose
to
travel
outside
of
my
county
just
to
go
there.
So
as
you
can
imagine
I
was
so
so
disappointed
when
my
experience
turned
out
like
this.
I
actually
wish
I
went
a
few
more
weeks
with
the
braces
to
get
my
teeth
perfectly
straight
but
I
got
them
taken
off
as
soon
as
they
were
relatively
straight
so
it
could
all
be
over
with.
I
waited
so
long
to
leave
a
review
because
I
felt
like
I’d
just
be
continuing
the
negativity
I
felt
during
that
time.
But
nearly
2
years
later
and
I
still
think
of
how
much
money
I
spent
on
this
kind
of
service,
I
still
see
they
get
amazing
reviews
so
it
makes
me
genuinely
confused
as
to
why
I
had
such
a
bad
experience.
