Super cool place to enjoy a lovely evening πŸ™‚ Plenty of room for the kids to play, cycle, scooter, run or even just walk around.. The castle is a big draw, especially now as its being upgraded with new walkways leading up to the main tower.. My children find it hard to believe that I used to scale the wall's and walk all along the top with no fear πŸ˜‰ Not sure if I'd do it now though πŸ˜†

Beautiful park in the middle of the town. Roscommon Castle is the highlight of this park and shouldn't miss that one if you are here. The lake and walkways around it are nice. Parking slots are very much limited which might easily gets full fast. The park got its name Loughnanane, because of that lake which once covered the park and Loughnanane means the lake of the birds

Lovely little park in the heart of the town. Bit hidden away and smaller than I expected but you can still spend an interesting 20 minutes walking around. Has access to the castle ruins and has a children's play area and exercise equipment both of which are well maintained.

The only park in Roscommon Town it's a grand auld place to have a walk around. Unfortunately some kiddos have ruined some spots of the park which is obvious when your walking past. Pity they don't respect it like those that use it.

The park is beautiful, the sculptures are nice and that throne is quite an attraction. The park have a sport activities area and a small pond with lots of birds. Flowers and the trees are beautiful and nicely set.

Lovely park in the heart of Roscommon town. Has the ruins of the old castle which are free to explore. Also has a lovely playground for kids and a pond which is home to ducks which always appreciate some bread.
