Jennifer and her staff were awesome and made this an overwhelmingly positive experience. The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable, with good air conditioning. It's a great location, but can be loud from the streets at night. The staff was willing to help us find tours, make calls, print documents for work, etc. Overwhelmingly great experience!

I would not recommend this hotel to foreigners. We booked using bookin.com and when got there they informed us that we can pay later. The following day i was "accosted" bu one of the junior staff saying that we needed to pay. We ended up changing rooms because they were a bit too cozy for two grown men. They told is what the price of the room was and in the coming days they would attempt to increase the price 2 times.. On our checkout day, they came and told us that we needed to check out at 11.am which was not the checkout time. In all the experience was not pleasant, i felt a lot of aggression and hostility and ultimately felt that i was thrown out on the streets on the last day. If you are a foreigner, do not stay there.

One star for the location but everything else was shockingly bad. The rooms are dirty, the windows are broken and fall open during the night exposing you to massive influx of mosquitoes, in most of the rooms the air-conditioning is broken, there is no elevator so woe is you if you have a heavy bag to carry upstairs, and the front desk staff is chilly and unhelpful; they seem to be more annoyed at your presence than glad that you are a guest. I couldn’t wait to get out of there and was glad I didn’t pick up fleas or anything else while I was at it. Oh yes, the linen was dirty and I asked them to change it and was met with a hostile glare. When I pointed out that there was mostly brown spots all over it she said it had been laundered and that was just the status of the linen. It is threadbare and harsh muslin to boot and although I wasn’t expecting Egyptian cotton sheets I was certainly expecting cleanliness at a minimum.
