Overall a very nice hotel despite the ongoing renovations! Well located in the capital. We spent 5-6 days in Dominica for the first time. The whole vibe of the island being slow and without any hassle, but we needed some fresh air. The room, the food, and the view were quite enjoyable. Unfortunately, we did not get to participate in the activities organized by the hotel since we already made our plans, but I wish we had. Anyway, despite all the troubles we encountered during the journey (outside the hotel), the employees of the Fort Young made our stay comfortable and the journey bearable. They were absolutely patient and kind with us, helping us in any way they could. For example, we had some issues to rent a car (last minute at the end of the year) and Tia, the receptionist, mobilized 3 other colleagues with her to find us a car when the first car location ditched us for no reason and without notice on the very day we were supposed to rent one. It took some time, but they finally made it. We lost half a day, but their mobilization and kindness made a difference when we were already struggling. So we are definitely grateful for them. A place where we would definitely come back!

This was the best hotel of our stay in Dominica. Hotel is large, comfortable, with plenty of amenities like infinity pool, bar and restaurant next to it, jacuzzi. There was sunset views every day from my balcony. Room was spacious and clean. There is a cafe on site with the best espresso I had my entire trip. Staff is efficient and welcoming. Would stay again.
