My wife and I stayed here 20 years ago. We went last Wednesday for our anniversary. Hotel staff was great. View was great. Bar was great. Bed was very comfortable. My only complaint would be I could not get the room as cold as I wanted it but I think we were facing the sun most of the day with the curtains open because of the great view!

My wife and I Stayed for a weekend in this hotel and loved the view. The rooms were clean and the heater / ac worked well. Too well sometimes. The supplied coffee was good and the maid brought ke back some more on request. The staff is friendly and so is the atmosphere. I was under the impression the room included a continental breakfast, but was wrong. While the breakfast was excellent, it will cost around $28.00 per person for the buffet and the fresh omelet cookers. In my opinion the price for the buffet is well worth the cost. The hotel location is also great, as everything you want to do is within walking distance of the hotel. Food, Baltimore Aquarium, shopping, movies. You don't have to walk far for any of it.

We had a great stay with this hotel for our offsite meetings. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating. I can’t express how much I appreciated your fabulous bellhops as I had a ton of things I had to transport to and from the hotel and they were so kind and helpful. The restaurant and bar inside the hotel was a great place to catch breakfast in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening. You are very close to the harbor and some great shopping. The walking path along the water was lovely too. I’ll definitely be back to stay!

Exceptional rooms--very clean. Centrally located. The lodging itself gets five stars. The service you get for the high price for staying here stinks. There is no room service. The restaurant and bar are closed more than open, on Friday and Saturday night they were open 4-mindnight. No housekeeping unless you wait the front desk to request it. I think they're short-staffed, owing to the pandemic. But if you stay here your room is remodeled and nice.

Very clean rooms. Staff is extremely friendly, helpful, and courteous. Beautiful views of Baltimore from multiple sides of the hotel. The food at the restaurant is very good. The bartenders are friendly and knowledgeable about drinks.

The hotel is in an excellent location in front of the water and is full of convenient amenities like the huge bar / restaurant and the coffee shop with some prepared foods. Service was excellent and the staff adequately addressed issues I had during the stay. The one note about the rooms is that they're quite noisy and insulation is poor, so you'll hear all the hallway conversation. If you're near the elevator you'll get some additional noise. All in all highly recommend though.

Very nice hotel. However, their parking garage is listed as having a clearance of 6'6". My truck is only 6'2" and the garage ripped the lights off the roll bar after making it all the way to the roof and all the way back down to the last turn before the pay station. The hotel gave me a bad contact # for the garage operator and once I found the correct number, the garage operator will not return my calls.

Wow, this is a fantastic hotel with modern clean rooms. The view is amazing (I was facing the inner harbour). Service is great and the late check-out is appreciated. Highly recommended, wish I was able to stay longer. Internet is fast, bed was comfy. Bathrooms are modern and clean.

Arrived with over 700 of are friends from all over the US for the SVDP National Assembly. Hotel was prepared and up to the task. Rooms were available, conference rooms were ready with audio and visual equipment. Meals were good, service was great. House keeping was excellent. Couple of issues with the lack of drawer space in the room, had to leave non hang-up clothes in suitcases. Also places to hang towels in bathroom.

Nice room with a harbor view. No housekeeping unless requested. Arrived Sunday early PM and their restaurant was closed. Good breakfast service and a somewhat reduced menu. Breakfast host was a little distant in attitude. Good location close to the aquarium and most of the inner harbor. Didn't park so not sure how well valet or self park worked.

Bob at the front desk is awesome! The hotel is great. It was easy to find a spot in the parking garage next door. You're in walking distance to everything. I would stay here again. A few issues I had that keep it from being 5 stars. - I wished the mini fridge in my room was bigger. If you want to refrigerate a meal, good luck. It better be a small meal. You have just enough room for a few bottled drinks. - No microwave in the room. There are some on the main floor that you can use. But it's a pain to bring food from your room all the way down the main floor to heat up, then to walk back up to the room. - The restaurant on the main floor was closed at 3pm on a Saturday. I had to get something delivered to the hotel.

Valet was fantastic and made getting in and out super easy. Hotel is beautiful and so is the harbor view. The faucet was cracked on the side and was creating quite a mess over the counter and floor when we arrived. The staff fixed it quickly while we were out, but did not remove or replace any of the soaking wet towels. We had a high floor which was quiet and made for a peaceful night's sleep. The bed was extremely comfortable. The room was spacious with views of the harbor/piers. Closet was a good size, tea/coffee station was well stocked. The shower had great water pressure and everything we needed. There were no extra blankets in the room which would have been useful for the very old, very worn out couch, which squeaked and sunk in anytime we tried to sit on it. Overall nice experience and would stay again.

This is a great Marriott. The hotel is beautiful. Our room was very clean and comfortable. We used points and weren't supposed to have a harbor view but we received a free upgrade. The view was fantastic. The location is great on the harbor and a short walk from all the restaurants and bars in Fells Point. The parking garage across the street is easy to access and half the cost of valet. We used the gym and it was nice and not crowded. I will be back.

Excellent conference hotel. Clean comfortable room that had only hot, no cold water at the sink (not a complaint but an interesting observation). Great staff who knows their clientele. Bar was busy but never overwhelmed- to be expected when there are multiple huge events on property.

We enjoyed the harbor view room. All of the staff from check in to check out were friendly and pleasant as well. They were very helpful throughout our whole stay. The only problem we had was the unstable toilet. Which we didn't fuss about. Great hotel and we will be back again!

This hotel has great rooms. Was assured two adjoining rooms but didn't happen. The restaurant/bar/coffee bar is nice looking but wait staff non existent. Beer selection weak. Coffee shop messed up order repeatedly. The valet made us wait almost 2 hours to get our car. I would look elsewhere at this price point. Close to the aquarium and many other attractions but many other hotels probably better.

I rarely write reviews, and this one is about 2 months late. I apologize for that! I wanted to thank the staff at the Baltimore waterfront Marriott for a wonderful stay. My husband is a surgeon and we were in for him to do some training. We brought both of our toddlers and we had the best stay from start to finish. We loved the coffee bar, restaurant, gym and the friendly, helpful staff. The rooms were comfortable and clean! I also left, ordering, the “it works” pillow spray that they had samples of in the rooms. We had such a great stay that we are at a conference now in Orlando and both agreed that the Marriott Baltimore was the best of the best as far as hotels go and the staff there were top notch. The location was also perfect, as I took the kids to the national aquarium and the children’s museum. we stayed a few weeks before Christmas and it was a wonderful trip. I can’t think of one thing to say that would need an improvement . Thank you again! And thank you to your kind, helpful staff.

Terrible. There are no amenities in the room. You have to call front desk to bring it and they take FOREVER to bring it if they don’t hear a white voice. It is currently 9:42 am. I’m still waiting for them to bring the sugar for the coffee that I ordered at 8:58 am. Also, they do not stock the fridge with bottled waters. You have to buy waters from the gift shop. Ehhh

Wonderful hotel. My stay was excellent. The food, the staff, the service, the atmosphere, everything was great. The location is excellent, the view (if you get one with a waterfront view) is gorgeous, especially at night. The area though, not so much. You only have about a few blocks before things start to get a bit shifty.

Thoughly enjoyed our room on the concierge level. But no concierge lounge on the weekend was disappointing. The manager in the bar was a great host and provided excellent service to those of us who arrived after 10pm and needed a bite before bed.

Honestly, not impressed. I've stayed in nicer airbnbs for half the cost. I've weighed the pros and cons below. Overall, this place is NOT worth it to me. Pros: - extremely comfy beds/pillows - nice shower - large closet with light for hanging clothes - prime location - large spacious desk for working Cons: - expensive - breakfast not included - attached restaurant is not good - poor to no options for drinking water - tiny rooms - no exhaust fan in bathroom - bathroom "door" is just sliding barn door, meaning no privacy - thin walls - asked for king suite well in advance but did not get - motion light in bathroom, so it will turn off on you while you're showering

We have never stayed at this Marriott but have eaten at the restaurant within at least half a dozen times for breakfast. This looks like a solid 4-star hotel from our impression of the lobby. The location of this property is outstanding with the harbor and tons of shops/restaurants within a 5 minute walk. This is one of the best locations you can get during a visit to Baltimore.

Sorry for the rating. The best of rooms on the top floor without power is just a cave. No lights, no TV, no Internet. The fault was not a minor one because it took 18 hours to fix. We were staying with points, and it was a holiday with the family, so no great harm done. Clearly a big black spot on the lack of effective corporate engineering and very short term views of renovations. Again: the newest furniture and most stylish place without power (and comms), is just a cave.

Went for a wedding. The room with Harbor view was awesome. Sunday brunch was outstanding. We had a party of 10 and received personal service and did not feel rushed. The bar area was also the same. Very personal and prompt service and attention without feeling rushed. Our entire party loved the hotel and staff the entire weekend.

Had to go to Baltimore for work. They picked the place and paid for it, so I should be happy, right? Great view of a parking garage. The ice machine didn’t work; they didn’t appear to care. I was literally out of the room all day 11/30. Housekeeping never showed up. I went to the front desk to get coffee as I had to get up at 4 the next morning. Asked what I should do with trash from dinner the night before and guy at the front desk said he’d send housekeeping. About a half hour later, someone showed up. Thought she’d come in at 7pm to tidy up. I politely declined. The bed — I’ve had better at a Holiday Inn Express. There’s one place to eat in the hotel it’s not convenient to most of the other places I would have been interested in trying as I had no desire to pay Uber every 5 minutes. But I’ve heard some people had a great view and liked the food. They probably also had ice.

I stayed at the hotel June 2-4 although the view was nice once they moved us for giving us the wrong room in the beginning, the room itself was disappointing. The room was not cleaned properly. The floor had not been vacuumed, the items that were used to clean the bathroom were left on the back of the commode. The headboards and nightstand were thick with dust. I expected better service even after the room was "cleaned" the next day, the floor still had not been vacuumed and we did not receive fresh towels. Even after calling the front desk and waiting at least an hour, we still had not received towels. After calling back to the front desk, we were informed that it was a large hotel and they were busy, we come and get the towels ourselves if we needed them. I cannot say that I would stay here again due to this experience.

Pretty relaxing experience. We are here for relatives graduation. Staff is nice. The view, city side is breathtaking with the down town skyline and a little bit of water. I came downstairs during happy hour and ordered kids meal for my daughter. They packed several things all my daughter ‘s favorites. For a four star hotel price is reasonable.

Friendly staff, gorgeous views of the bay and large corner rooms that keep you comfortable. Great location for a large group congress. Plenty of walkable restaurants and a water ferry to rusty scupper for a true seafood masterpiece. Would definitely return

Recently had an opportunity to photograph a bat mitzvah here but, unfortunately, did not stay overnight. I like that it's just on the edge of the city, almost tucked away in their own little corner. Great staff, attentive and super helpful with everything. Plus if you time your arrival just right you can stand around and wait while whoever the Ravens visiting team is walk through the lobby...

Our thermostat did not work, it was hot even when we turned the heat off. We didn't want to turn the ac on in February. No no no. Our bathroom door did not stay closed. The bathroom door is a farm style sliding door with no latch. I just can't understand that decision at all. Everything else was good though. The shower is great, cleaning services are great.

  • 5/5 Mary Jean S. 1 year ago on Google
Very nice hotel, old style mixed with modern. Room bathroom doors are barn style, so they don't give you privacy and are hard to open if they get off the track. Bathroom doors do not close all the way. In addition, there are not fans in the bathroom, so the room gets very humid when you take a shower. A regular door would offer more privacy and humidity control.

Outstanding property! Clean and well-maintained in a walkable neighborhood (Harbor East). Everything from booking to check-in to the room itself (amazing!!), food options, and check-out was excellent. The valet was friendly and the Bellmen were attentive (shout out to Greg the Bellman and Jacques the valet!). Could not have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend!

I had a very nice stay. Everything was great. I was in town for a concert at Pier 6 and the location of this hotel was perfect. The view from my room was great. The only complaint was the elevator situation. It was a nightmare every time I needed to use it. Bad to the point that people were wagering money on when they would show up. To be fair the hotel was packed when I was there. I had a nice stay and I'd definitely return.

My wife surprised me with a last minute reservation to spend the night at Marriott Waterfront to celebrate a belated wedding anniversary. The location is nice with a great view of the inner harbor. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Our room was modern and clean. We were both very pleased with our stay and look forward to being able to visit again for an extended stay in the near future.

Okay, but I'd recommend taking your money somewhere else. The location and room design of this hotel were okay. However, service throughout the stay was subpar and failed to meet expectations for the price point of the rooms. Upon arrival, the garage was full. When I asked the garage attendant for recommended hotel parking, he yelled at me, "Not here! Don't you see the cones!" I clearly saw the cones, but was expecting that a customer service employee would be willing to provide a customer with recommendations for other parking. I asked again for a recommendation and was once again aggressively yelled at. The valet crew could not park vehicles either due to garage capacity, but got mad when I asked to momentarily park in front of the hotel to unload bags and check-in. Not at all a warm welcome. Upon arriving at the room, there were no additional linens to make up the sofa bed for our children. We made multiple phone calls to the front desk over a 20-minute period to request linens, all of which went unanswered. I had to go down to the front desk in person to make the request. Upon asking for a set of linens, the customer service agent asked me, "what are linens?" I had to give a step-by-step description of pillows and bed sheets while specifying the exact number of each. Clearly, the customer service staff at this location is poorly trained. After the aggravating check-in experience, we chose to try Apropoe's, the hotel restaurant. Despite the ample amount of seating, we were warned that "food will take at least 30 minutes" due to staffing. It does not appear that restaurant management is effectively coordinating employees to provide timely service. We ordered minimum food and cocktails. The $20 "specialty cocktail" we ordered was nothing more than a combination of a premixed liqueur and gin served in a plain hotel restaurant glass. It is something that I would expect at the hotel bar of a value chain hotel, not a Marriott. Overall, this establishment does not have the customer service or amenities to match the price they are charging. I would recommend trying other nearby establishments before the Marriott.
