The Hotel staff were very helpful. Hotel room was clean and roomy. Great room!!However, THE VALET stole from my vehicle and also left food they purchased inside my vehicle. The hotel staff gave me the info to make a report to the company Manager. The company manager spoke with me and I explained what happened. He said that they would run the videos back and contact me. Nobody contacted me even til this day. I called him again and he seemed suprised that nobody contacted me. He said he would get info and call back. He still hasn’t called back even after numerous calls and a voicemail to him. This matter was never resolved by the company in charge of the valets. Don’t USE the valet at all!!

I have stayed here many times due to the great proximity to Johns Hopkins. The hotel staff is always friendly especially the breakfast team. Two issues - the private parties that take place at the roof top restaurant are loud. Kind of hard when a good mixture of guests are here for hospital visits. Secondly, last night the bartender who took my food order added an 18% service charge on my bill. I asked him why and he said he just works there. I didn't want him to be out of a tip so I tipped him 20% I went back to look at my other orders and there was no service charge. Seems like a bit of a scam on his part. The front desk took care of it for me.

The staff was so welcoming! I felt like I was wanted & appreciated! This started from the valet, front desk, cleaning professionals, chef Robinson and the immaculately cleaned and prepped suite! There were cleaning wipes at my disposal. The entire hotel was clean, bright and fresh smelling! The bed was amazing ( THE BEST). The bathroom was spotless ( with no lingering hairs in sight). It was really quiet! I cannot wait to visit again! What a great experience!!! The best hotel experience I’ve had in the city of Baltimore! This is my new spot!!!

We were in town visiting the Inner Harbor and location wise this is not as close as some others but we are so glad circumstances placed us here for a night. The staff - all around from porters, housekeeping, breakfast attendants and front desk - are amazing. They were all smiles at both 11 pm and 11 am and ready to help with anything. If you have the pleasure of being assisted by Celeste then you are truly being helped by the best! The rooms are huge with lots of natural light and especially clean, with lots of outlets. I imagine tons of folks may stay here for not so pleasant reasons (being so close to the hospital and medical centers) but this hotel and staff have to give them good reason to smile. Kudos to the Residence Inn John Hopkins - truly an A1 experience. Thank you!

A few weeks ago we had a pleasant stay here overall, but Lynette, who ran the breakfast was outstanding. Every item on the bar remained well stocked, tidy and wiped down the whole time. Most importantly she made us feel so welcome. Lynette’s service and smile were the best part of our visit. Thank you

Great place to stay. Breakfast was good. Rooms were above expectations. Staff very friendly. I needed dinner, and might have eaten in the restaurant or ordered room service. But there was no menu in the room. I resorted to outside food delivery option. The free breakfast brought in a few people that appeared to sneak in the backdoor, meaning non guests. One family a mother and three children. Charity is good, but it's supposed to be given, directed to a needy cause and voluntary.

This hotel was nice. Close to John's Hopkins Hospital with very convenient shuttle service to and from the hospital. Rooms were spacious and clean. They have a very nice rooftop restaurant but it's only open for lunch, which is odd to me. Dinners had to be ordered at the bar/lounge and eaten in the lobby area or taken back to your room, which is what we did, but again odd to me. Only problem we had with the room was the overhead lighting in the kitchen area which I believe was on some kind of sensor as they went off about 45 min after coming on as you entered and you couldn't turn them back on unless you re-open the door???? Kitchen had a full size refrigerator, a 2 burner cook top, sink and dishwasher. It also had plates, cups , some pots and pans and silverware. All in all, a nice hotel

This is a lovely, well-maintained (spotless!) property. Great breakfast. Nice shower. Helpful staff. A bus picks you up to bring you to the Johns Hopkins hospital complex, but it runs only once every two hours. It's certainly walkable, but a security escort is available from the hospital 24/7 (although you need to call, of course) and it's presumably offered for a reason.

Residence Inn exceeded all my expectations and I would definitely stay here again!! Both of my rooms (studio & one bedroom) were so spacious and the hotel itself was very clean. The reason I took off a star is in my bathroom I found items left in one of the rooms by a previous guest. Plus the shower in the other room did not look clean at all. I informed the front desk and someone came up and took care of the situation. Otherwise the hotel was great.

The hotel is excellent. As the concept with all of this brand is to have more of a small apartment than a hotel room, this one didn't disappoint. Great set up in a very big room. Great kitchen and walk-in shower. Amazingly comfortable bed. Good valet price at $32 overnight. Good common areas bar and restaurant. Good location in the John Hopkins area. I'd stay here again, NP.

Four stars is definitely for the friendly staff. Some of the services left a lot to be desired however. Ordered food from the restaurant and was very disappointed. Caesar salad came with no dressing, flatbread was undercooked and dry. Overall the furniture was worn and uncomfortable by the great staff and proximity to John's Hopkins saved the day.

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. It's was an eventful and awesome experience. Hope to be there again whenever i come to Baltimore. Although it's more than a week after my checkout and my incidentals payment haven't been credited into my account, after I was cleared.

We had so much fun there. It was a short Uber driver away from everything on the harbor and we lucked up and got to be apart of their amazing New Years Eve party!! I love this location and we will be back! Breakfast the next morning was absolutely delicious. The staff are friendly and very helpful.

If you are going to Johns Hopkins, don't even think about another hotel.  The Johns Hopkins campus has a "public safety officer" on every corner during the day.  Just security theater?  Maybe, but it is telling.  You don't want to venture off campus, Baltimore is not the place you want to walk around discovering. As for the Residence Inn by Marriott, rooms are a nice size with a bigger-than-average kitchen.  The bathroom was very nice too.  Very clean and the staff was very friendly.  The food was okay. Picture is from my room window.

Allot of transportation close by. Front desk staff wasn't aware of events at their rooftop when I asked Saturday. They weren't very friendly overall either. The breakfast kitchen staff were among the nicest of the whole place. Very helpful and personable. Everything was clean. Breakfast was nice.

My son and I visited this hotel over three weeks ago. As we were arriving, there was some kind of loud event going on involving bright and flashy vehicles, which were disrupting traffic flow, which was on public property and not hotel property. We checked in with the front desk, whom was informative, and thorough during check in. We went and stayed on the 9th floor, and into our room. We were happy with the cleanliness of the room, the fact there was a kitchen in the room, complete with dining ware, drinkware, a fridge, and place to sit and meals. The room was comfortable, and it reminded us of the one we work at. However, we couldn't find a hair dryer, but that wasn't a problem. We stayed for two nights. We haven't had any problems staying there, and we wouldn't mind staying again. We have had excellent service, an excellent stay, and the employees we have interacted with were friendly and personable. Thank you.

This is an exceptional experience for anyone visiting the area near the hospital. Walking distance to the hospital. Rooms are extremely spacious. Super comfortable for extended stay. 24/7 SEVEN ELEVEN RIGHT ACROSS the street. Lunch and dinner on the rooftop is much better than you'd expect. Small note, breakfast is kinda scary. Prepakaged burritos, prepackaged egg muffin sandwiches, etc. Hard to figure but the oatmeal was especially bad. Especially the raisins and walnuts! On the other hand, rooftop dining is a COMPLETELY UNEXPECTED bonus. No place else in Baltimore has a nicer rooftop bar!

Our reservation was good to go. We show up and are told that it wasn’t and there was nothing they could do. Even after the employee we spoke to on the phone said we were fine. I had to call to get additional help. The other hotels they tried to send us to were trashy and cheap looking. Terrible experience.

Everyone at the front desk was very friendly, even the valets! Our studio was comfy and clean with nice shower products for those who forget their own. 🙋‍♀️ Complimentary breakfast had a good array of food from bagels to breakfast sandwiches, cereals and fruit. I couldn't tell you where the fitness center was but the neighborhood is easily walkable and there's a park on the north side for an outside workout. Not much for non chain within an easy walk from the hotel. If you're there for the hospital or cancer center, the location is perfect.

This hotel has a goal to make a extended stay as great as possible. Everyone is friendly and the amenities are wonderful. You get what you pay for, and if your stay was not up to par, say something to staff. They will refund your money if there's a legit problem.

Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast food was good and they had cold brew coffee, first time I have seen a hat in a hotel so I was very happy. The service in the breakfast buffet was outstanding. There was a super helpful man that went to all the tables cleaning up and making sure everyone had everything they needed. I travel a lot for work and that was the best service I have ever had.

I have been traveling back and forth to this hotel for business over the past 7 months. My colleagues and client spoke highly of this specific Marriott Bonvoy location since 2017. Therefore, I arrived at the hotel expecting to receive the same treatment they received. However, during week one (8/2023) of my stay, I spoke with an employee by the name of Jamere, and I immediately questioned if the following statements published by Marriott Bonvoy was true: -"Recognized today as a top employer and for its superior business operations." -"Conducts based on five core values: put people first, pursue excellence, embrace change, act with integrity, and serve our world." -"Taking care of people and their well-being is our most precious cultural inheritance." -"Marriott International commits to creating positive and sustainable impact wherever we do business." I truly wanted to overlook my terrible experience with Jamere because everyone has a bad day, and no one is perfect. However, as of 2/15/24, Jamere continues to act unprofessional and shows no regard for Marriott Bonvoy's core values. Jamere appears to be half asleep at the front desk, avoids picking up in-house and external calls and never greets you with a smile. Jamere's facial expression will make you feel as if you are bothering her. I believe if there was an emergency and everyone was required to evacuate the building, Jamere wouldn't think twice about leaving us behind to fend for ourselves. I am not sure why someone with her attitude and lack of unprofessional attire would be permitted to work at the front desk of any company. Hopefully, something will be done about this in the near future and no one else will have to be subjected to Jamere's disrespectful, malicious, unprofessional, horrendous behavior.

This is a very nice and clean hotel with absolutely wonderful service. Its location is perfect for those families who are from out of town and have loved ones spending time at Johns Hopkins Hospital. It is evident that this property's mission is focused on those families, and they do a superb job in executing this mission which is especially valuable to those in time of stress and concern. The managers find good people, train them well and support this mission completely. This is true from the breakfast team, which always had a smile and a kind word to the helpful and friendly front desk personnel. We found the food to be a little pricey but excellent, especially the chicken wings, crab cakes and crab & shrimp pasta. I highly recommend this property.

At first, with it being right at the hospital, I thought this was gonna be a basic hotel. Glad I was wrong! The place was popping! Even had karaoke going on at the lobby bar. Breakfast was great. Room was big, clean, and comfy! Valets were kind and greeted us each time with a smile and manners. Top notch stay <3

Excellent evening at the Marriott at Johns Hopkins, enjoyed the bar service experience at the downstairs location. Demetrius, the bartender shared culinary specialities that elevated an already exceptional meal. I also appreciated the dialogue he and David engaged in during my check-in process—it made me feel welcome for our extended stay. Great brand ambassadors, hope to see more of the same at future stays.

This was our third time staying at this hotel because of appointments at John’s Hopkins Hospital. That said we would happily stay at this hotel wherever it was located. The staff are friendly and helpful; the building is super clean and our rooms are always very comfortable. I have no complaints whatsoever!

The rooftop bar service was great. We had a little work function here and the atmosphere was relaxing. The food was great too. The staff were the highlight, making everything go smoothly and accommodating everyone. Big shout out especially to Amber and Rene, they were awesome!

The morning dining staff and maintenance staff are very friendly. Our room is hot. It must be 80 degrees Fahrenheit—at the time of this writing at 12:13 am. We turned the air conditioner as low as it will go only for warm air to come out. They sent engineering to work on it he was very courteous. He cleared a line which helped bit by the next day the issue started to reappear. Tonight—our third night—the room is so hot my wife and I are still up after a trip to the aquarium with the kids, walking in the heat, etc.We would have liked to return to a cool room but it never cooled. We would like to sleep, it it’s hot and humid. At the moment, I have turned the a/c off in an attempt to melt ice buildup, should there be any, and I plan to turn it back on in an hour with hopes of a temporary fix. We’ll see. Btw, I alerted the front desk about this at around 6 pm, but no one came to resolve the issue—yet—it is now 12:20 am.

Stayed here for a medical appointment at the hospital. It was so easy and convenient to walk, and to drive to other touristy locations. The staff, especially at breakfast, were so friendly! The room was very clean and giant for the price. I cooked dinner in my own kitchen, it felt like a posh apartment. Definitely coming back. :)

The breakfast is excellent. The room is clean and comfy. There is a full set of dishes and a dishwasher. There is a 7-11 store directly across the street. My main problem is the parking is $32! a day in addition to the room cost... it's ridiculously expensive. The parking is open air and I don't see any security except the valets. The employees have all been so kind and gracious. The restaurant upstairs is only open for lunch, but they do have dinner downstairs in the lobby. They have a little market in the hotel, but it's like $3 for a water bottle. Not terribly high but the 7-11 is cheaper.

Here for a workshop at Hopkins and it really comes down to the staff, they’re wonderful. They should open up the rooftop for evenings again, but the crew here goes out of their way and are so friendly. For those staying pre-op or with a loved on at the hospital I imagine that vibe means a lot.

Residence Inn By Marriott Baltimore at the Johns Hopkins Medical Campus, 800 N.Wolfe Street, Baltimore, MD 21205 Thursday 18th August to Tuesday 23rd August 2022: I am checked in here for 5 nights and I shall say the first 3 days were uneventful. On the 4th night I called the front desk that my room had not been cleaned even once since I checked in. (At check in, I had seen the notice that rooms were cleaned every three days and accepted my fate.) I asked for clean towels and was asked to come down to the reception to collect them. I declined. The manager said he would make a note to have the room cleaned the next day. Day 5: I have been at the hospital all day and return to find that the trash can has been emptied but the kitchen was not cleaned. My bed was unmade, no sheets changed but they gave me fresh towels. The box of tissues in my bathroom has been empty and I had put a roll of toilet paper on top of it - this is as is, no fresh box of tissues was given. (For the record, when I moved into the room, the tissues had a blue line on them signifying that we were at the bottom of the box.) Another issue: There are no safe deposit boxes in the rooms, AND there is no functional safe deposit in the front desk area either - 'they cannot access it.' I have had to carry my valuables everywhere with me. I am horrified that this hotel is costing me $1,051.60 to stay 5 nights and $32 per night to park my car each night, a total of $1,211.60 for my stay and I am sleeping on the same sheets for all the 5 nights??? Seriously??? How do we rate this hotel 4 star? Who is doing this rating? I have read some of the positive reviews but sadly, I will be dishonest to join my voice - both my thumbs and all my fingers are down.

The lobby is beautiful and security is helpful when you are lost like me. Warning if you plan a night's stay I hope noise doesn't bother you. The parties are amazing I will book a stay here just to have a good time. 15 to get into the roof top deck on the night I went. The food was very tasty but pricey. I got 2 crab cake sliders for $14 .
