I booked a room in this hotel 3 weeks in advance. I arrived at the hotel at 12am with my wife and daughters 9 and 13 years old tired and wanting a quick rest. We waited 40 minutes for a room. This room was absolutely disgusting. It had not been cleaned after the last people, although the beds were made. But the sheets and blankets were dirty. There was a lot of hair. The toilet had traces of feces and urine. Also in this room does not work TV and refrigerator. I took pictures of everything and showed it to the receptionist. But all he did was apologize and said he couldn't help us and could only change our room the next day at 3 pm. It was the worst night ever. My family and I slept fully clothed. We couldn't shower that evening and the morning after since everything was dirty. Now my family and I are sitting in a dirty room waiting to be given a clean room so we can finally shower. Our day off was completely ruined.

The hotel room itself was nice, spacious and clean. However, the front desk staff was horrible. With the exception of Tasha, who was here the morning we checked out only, everyone else at the front desk was rude, short, and extremely dismissive. I asked questions a few times since we don't know the area and didn't know where to fill up our water bottles. Each time I was given an answer of "I don't know" and told to wait prior to that because the front desk personnel was either on their cell phone talking to a friend or playing a game. I've worked in the hotel industry for years and have never seen this kind of behavior repeatedly. As a customer, I expect for the person in interacting with at the front desk to greet me, be friendly and helpful. If your don't like speaking or interacting with customers, then a customer facing job isn't what you should be doing. The breakfast was once of the worst we've encountered also. It was sad, lacking and not full most of the time. A couple of our kids went to the gas station in the same parking lot to get breakfast bowls instead. Overall, while the rooms were nice and they were pet friendly, I can't say we'd ever come back or recommend this particular hotel.

We arrived 11-25-23 and was pleasantly welcomed by Tasha. There was ample parking in the lot. Check-in was easy and quick. The room was nice and included refrigerator, microwave, and coffee machine. Desk and chair as well as small sofa with a table accompanying it which was great to sit and enjoy my meal while my man consumed his meal at the desk. I saw a business area with couple computers and printer although I did not use them. Nor did I visit the pool. There is a nice area outside situated a good distance from the lobby where there are benches and receptacle to dispose of cigarette butts. First hotel I can say we've patronized to be so thoughtful for those who choose to smoke. The lobby area was well lit when I came down in the evening and the doors were locked at a certain hour. The complimentary breakfast was well stocked. I recommend this location when staying in the Baltimore, Maryland area.

I have been here a total of 4 days and I can tell you this place is the best by far in Baltimore! The staff is absolutely amazing! From the amazing front desk staff being very attentive to the amazing breakfast attendants. The food every morning has been absolutely amazing! She is such a sweet lady that is working in the breakfast area. The hotel everywhere you go smells so fresh! They really have chosen 5 star employees that actually like working here. I will definitely book again when in the area!

The Check in was a smooth and easy process. Room was clean and spacious. Had no problem with the area or the local crowds. Perfect location!! Breakfast bar all the food was Hot and fresh. Staff were professional and very attentative. Booked a 4 day stay here while we visited Baltimore for our daughter's college orientation. We will definitely be back!

Safe location. The lady at the front desk was so sweet and very helpful when our reservation wasn't showing up from a third party booking, she worked to figure it all out. Super clean hotel, tall ceilings. We ended up with a king handicap suit, although we didn't need handicap. The only cons were that the room was so echo-y, the AC unit was so loud it kept waking us up and the bathroom sink was draining super slow. But I'm sure another room wouldn't have these issues. The bed was pretty stiff but not terrible. Breakfast was good, a little messier than other Hamptons. But overall we had a good experience and would definitely stay again.

Arrived late in the evening after a long day of driving and was surprised by a less than welcoming reception by the woman at the reception desk. I will have to think about my Hilton Honors membership if I continue to be greeted as though I am a burden to the front desk staff. I was able to check out early the next day and not be charged only because I called the Hilton corporate number and Karla was exceptional in resolving the issue. I was so unimpressed with the welcome that we got that I reserved a room at a McHenry Row Marriott property for the remainder of our mini-vacation an had a fantastic experience in Baltimore.

I can't speak any higher of this hotel!! My family and I have stayed at some of the most expensive resorts and hotels and we all agree we have NEVER experienced better customer service in our life! From EVERYONE at the front desk to the breakfast manager Gloria everyone is so genuinely helpful and kind. My whole family has been staying here while our family member is in critical condition in the ICU- we have had extremely long days (to say the least) at the hospital and coming back to the hotel to staff who welcomes you with smiles, genuine warmth and amazing customer service has made being here in Baltimore for such a terrible situation just a little bit easier. Aside from the outstanding staff at the hotel - the complimentary breakfast is actually SO good! Lots of different of options to choose from and Gloria changes up the menu everyday. The rooms were very clean and there is complimentary housekeeping upon request. If you need an extra toothbrush, razor, etc. they provide that complimentary as well! In the lobby they have a coffee/tea/hot chocolate bar 24/7 and they also have a ton of snacks, some easy quick meals, and essentials at a little store by the front desk. They also laundry for guests on site. Wouldn't stay anywhere else when in Baltimore!

They are not LGBT friendly, I was placed here by my insurance agent after a fire displaced me, not to mention killed a friend and it appears that management been in my trash, always on me about something, and I even had a staff member one morning asked me if I was still here. Some of the staff is pleasant, but I know that one of them got yelled at for talking to me. Personally if you want a good 2 star hotel go to the Best Western or the Red Roof Inn ,they both treat you like a human and the Best Western has the same amenities as the Hampton Inn

On fist impressions. It is going to be a great stay. And this did not disappoint us. Very clean room. No bugs. (I checked) Front desk people are very nice and friendly. We are here for 3 days, and this is day two. Sleep was great. The food in the morning is also hot. And it was a very clean dining area. Complimentary shampoo and other products. (I forgot my shampoo) And she didn't bat an eyelash at me, was very nice and offered other products. Truth4you.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. I was staying here because my friend was having surgery at John Hopkins hospital, which is literally up the road. The room with spacious, clean, and a huge bathroom. The room smells so good and the room was furnished with extra things like coffee, pot, microwave refrigerator, and a sofa. The morning breakfast was really taste. The hotel offers free parking and shuttle to the hospital. The manager Jiron, explained everything to me and detailed about the hotel to include pool hours, surrounding restaurants and the shuttle times. Jiron, is by far the best Customer Service I’ve had in a very long time. Thanks to him. I will read this a five star.

The front desk receptionist was so pleasant, helpful, and sweet. The housekeeper and breakfast host were so accommodating also. A great place to stay.

The desk lady is the sweetest EVER! Really great at her job!!!!!!!!!! But the breakfast needs some help. Empty items, rotten fruit in the bowl, dirty counters- yes very busy but it’s supposed to be. I think she needs some help to keep on top of it. Please check the pillow cases for blood stains. Kinda gross. Maybe a good ‘ole Spring cleaning is in order.

Very nice Hotel. Clean rooms, good breakfast and very nice staff. Booking canceled our reservation and the receptionist still got us a room. Thank you so much Amber :D.

I can't say enough about the staff at this hotel. I've never stayed anywhere with such friendly, accommodating people. Everyone at this hotel is just the nicest person you would want to meet. And the breakfast is outstanding. I was there to support a family member in a Johns Hopkins hospital - actually she moved between 2 hospitals during my week-long stay - so the location was perfect for me, but might be out of the way for some. They have special rates for customers associated with Johns Hopkins, so book through them. They also have a free shuttle to the hospitals on week days. My room was quiet, sunny, and well appointed. It was clean when I arrived. Rooms are only cleaned between bookings.

Hotel itself is super clean! Traveling with 2 kids..rooms are spacious. Staff has been okay. Pool is CLOSED!! We booked through a 3rd party site, does not mention the pool is closed. When you put in pool as a filter the hotel comes up. However, they claim because "pool isn't on their amenities, it should be clear enough the pool is closed. Ha....but it clearly has a picture of their indoor pool and does come up on filter. Staff tried to twist and turn that, instead of just saying it was a mistake but was more important to spend 20 minutes, to just look silly in the end. I only booked this hotel because of the indoor pool, had it been clearly stated, I would have booked else where. Location is great!!! Everything you need is a close drive or walk. They also have a nice little area foe snacks and drinks.

Our family stayed here for one night, after a long day at the aquarium. Check in was easy and the room was large and spacious. The king size bed was okay, it was more firm than I'd like. The kids slept on the pull out couch bed. Breakfast the next morning was quite crowded but there was a good variety to choose from. The pool was very VERY chlorinated and not very warm for being inside. This location is apparently pet friendly, as we encountered a family exiting the elevator with a large German Shepherd, who barked loudly and unexpectedly at us when the elevator door opened.

Good friendly service, clean updated room, comfortable bed, free available parking, safe location, nice safe area. Access to highways & 10 minutes from Inner Harbor area. Good hot breakfast and includes all continental options also. Muffins, fruit, etc.

My family and I flew into Baltimore for the weekend and selected this hotel for our visit. The staff was very friendly, rooms were pretty basic, not even a picture on the wall, but clean, and a typical hotel breakfast was available. Our stay was comfortable.

I have been displaced with family and have been staying here for about a week and the staff had went above and beyond to make sure or stay has been pleasurable. My dog which is a German Sheppard was accepted her with no issues. They even have a veterinary hospital next door. I’m definitely pleased with the service and accommodations this hotel made for my family. I have an infant and a toddler with an eight year old. The indoor pool has been available everyday so far, the food has been delicious. I have no complaints EXCEPT, I would’ve loved to have a daycare in the facility 🤣🤷🏽‍♀️😂 that’s just me, but definitely deserves more than 5 ⭐️

The rooms are nice, clean, and comfortable. I paid $160 for a one night stay plus a $50 pet fee. The room was great, but not quite worth $160/night in my opinion. Regardless, the service was really excellent. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful, plus they even give you a gift bag for your puppy when you check in. One of the best hotel stays I've had yet.

The hotel was very clean and our ADA room was perfect! It had plenty of room to get around in the room. Bathroom was perfect and very clean too! But the biggest reason I took the time to write this review is because all the staff were overly nice. However there were 3 front desk ladies the were just fantastic and so helpful!! Shawn, Tia and Tarsha, they helped me multiple times on different days. My husband had 3 unplanned surgeries at John Hopkins Bayview Campus Hospital. I had to extend my stay 3 different times, they also gave me the medical rate, which helped tremendously!! Every time I came in they would asked me how my husband was doing that day. They just seem to genuinely care!!

The perfect place. Clean rooms with clean towels and linens. Our room smelled so good, thank you. The staff is polite, attentive, very pleasant service. Breakfast buffet with a wide selection of food. We will return here again.

This will be our go to when visiting our kids in Baltimore from now on. We have been in Baltimore and stayed at expensive hotels in the inner harbor but we are always disappointed with the noise, room cleanliness, parking…you name it. Hampton Inn Baltimore Bayview Campus doesn’t have a bay view but it does have a super friendly, great staff. The rooms are super clean, newer and quiet, really quiet and free parking. The excellent reviews they receive are all well deserved and we’re adding ours to the list.

We stayed for five nights over the Christmas holiday. The positives - very friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast (except for powdered creamer for coffee), comfortable beds, good location when we are visiting family with easy on/off I-95. The afternoon hot chocolate set up on the day we arrived was a fun feature. The negative - the pet friendly policy needs work. Can you please place guests with pets together on the same side of one floor or designated pet free areas and give guests reserving online the option to be in a pet free quiet zone. The last two nights we were there the dog above us yapped all night and we got little sleep. It was a long 9 hour drive home today on little sleep. I'm not sure we would ever stay there again because of this.

Very nice hotel and the staff are super friendly and welcoming. Once I checked in, I knew I would enjoy my stay. The rooms have a microwave, refrigerator and they provided water bottles. The hot breakfast was good. Everything was clean and I had everything that I needed for my stay. Thank you so much ladies for being super nice. I forgot their names but they worked on Christmas Eve around 4pm and Christmas around 11.

We chose this Hampton to stay at due to the reviews. And they didn't disappoint. Coming in for a family reunion, there were a lot of questions, corrections and demands about the bill and other things. Without attitude or short patience Ms Trudy(Trudie) and Tracy were great. They educated and helped resolve the issues with smiles and laughter. (Hey y'all) The breakfast was good, and the area clean. The only thing missing was the famous dark roast coffee🙁 My only issue with my room was the sink. It was clogged with hair so the water receded very slowly. Other than that our stay was a good one. This hotel sits next to an Animal clinic, a Firestone (I believe), a Wawa and a 24-hr diner within walking distance.

Amazing, affordable. NICEST front desk staff I've ever experienced at hotel. Literally every single woman made me feel wonderful each time I was in the lobby. The room has a great design, a coffee maker, great shower and super comfy beds & comforters. Incredible value for money and to my front desk gals -- you are the best!! Thank you!

I used these reviews to make my choice to stay here. It all started with a large wet spot on the carpet in my room that soaked my sock. Other than that the room was fine. The biggest problem I had was that the hotel entryway and hallways needed a vacuuming the day I got there (big chunks of various debris, in the hallways, the elevators, all common areas), and 10 days later they still haven't been touched. I mentioned it to an evening manager two days before my departure date. After glaring at me for a minute, she said she'd let housekeeping know. I guess I expect better from a Hampton. Let me know if the wad of hair is still in the middle of the main entryway. Gross 🤢. I'll chalk this one up to bad luck. Not sure where 4.5 stars comes from.

The rooms and breakfast are adequate. Beds are comfortable but toilet paper and tissues are the cheapest they can use. Towels are also just so so, again bit of lower quality. Neighborhood is sketchy, but near major highways. If you’re picky, this is not the place for you. If you need a decently priced place to lay your head and don’t care about the rest than this hotel is a good choice.

The room was great. The staff was absolutely terrible. I didn't have to deal with them much but it was a pain every time i did. And from what I saw they weren't very helpful to other people either. I couldn't eat anything at the complimentary breakfast. Luckily there was a Wawa across the parking lot that had plenty of better and healthier options that were also gluten free. I would hope in the future i wouldn't need to buy food since i should be properly fed at the free hotel breakfast. But it is what it is.

My husband and I stayed here for a quick trip to MD. Hotel staff was so pleasant and helpful. Each person we interacted with was friendly and outgoing. Gloria, who serves the free breakfast, was delightful and such a sweet woman. Next time we visit, we will be staying here again. 5 STARS!

I was worried when I booked the hotel room because of the reviews. I was pleasantly surprised that the hotel was nice. The staff was great to communicate with and very attentive. Everything I came across in the hotel was clean. They facilitated all guests a discount across the street at a local diner. This came in handy over the course of my stay. I would recommend this hotel.

  • 5/5 Jackie S. 1 year ago on Google
Hotel is super clean. Staff is amazing! They are kind, attentive and can give recommendations of where to eat and what to do in the area. Room service could have come by more often but I think this was a miscommunication on my part since we stayed for 2 weeks. Would definitely stay again.

My boyfriend and i visited Baltimore for the football game and stayed at this hotel. The lady at the front desk, if i recall correctly her name is Kiara, was so pleasant. The check in process was quick and she went over all the hotel amenities and was overall just so sweet. Breakfast was pretty good for it being free, and the breakfast lady was sweet as well! The beds could maybe be updated, my back hurt when i woke up but no big deal. I would definitely come back!!
