😠 Came in for mani/pedi. Arrived 5:18 was asked to have a seat as they don't start until 5:30. At 5:32 receptionist asked me to sign in. While waiting, one of the students went across to 5below for supplies. This should've been my first sign... I filled out their chemical waiver form shortly after 6... Came in for mani/pedi. Arrived 5:18 was asked to have a seat as they don't start until 5:30. At 5:32 receptionist asked me to sign in. While waiting, one of the students went across to 5below for supplies. This should've been my first sign... I filled out their chemical waiver form shortly after 6 and was finally sent to chair which wouldn't adjust, so she added more water for my feet to be submerged. It was evident they don't train/prepare students on pedicure services and she told the staff she wasn't happy with her assignment. Despite, she was courteous. No base coat, no top coat barely scrubbed off dead skin. Definitely not the best pedicure ever had, but $15, you get what you pay for. Didn't get mani, won't return to rate any other services. Had high hopes, wasn't expecting top salon service, but left super disappointed at 7:00pm.

Until today, I would say 4 stars. These students have done my hair for months now and I’ve paid and been pleased . I was told that a comment about my black hair warranted my violation of discriminatory nature. I will say this to anyone black or otherwise; that my hair must be separated when drying it. You can’t rack through my hair with a wire brush or blow dryer. I simply stated you must separate my black hair. The stylist wasn’t black and another stylist reported what they thought was a discriminatory comment. I was questioned about the comment stood my ground and was told if there’s another offense I’d be banned(what, another offense). First this is a school for learning; if you’re not learning then shut it down. While the customer isn’t always right; I think a better approach was necessary. Check with the student in question first then if necessary talk to the customer. While I’ll never return to have my hair (not) cared for. I hope that this overly sensitive society will pick and choose their real battles. You may or may not agree. I’m not a person that would hurt or disparage anyone. I left with unfinished hair and will get it serviced elsewhere.

No matter if it’s been 2 weeks 2 months or 2 years due to the recent pandemic. The instructors ALWAYS remember who I’am by first name. Now that’s saying something it’s never over the top. Welcoming encouraging& a all around 💐great🤩👑 team. The students are eager for the ongoing knowledge they leave with. Thank you all for giving me another reason to look even better smile more brighter and slay 🤭all the dragons 🐉 in these Philly streets!!

Unprofessional, students not prepared, teacher does not have good skills. Students on cell phones. After coming for years the school has changed for worse, late with appointments, not up to date with styles or products products...students borrow from each other. The worse experience ever when came today will never ever come back.

I Don’t recommend this empire beauty school center city to anyone . I’ve been experiencing a lot since attending this school. A lot of unresolved issues with teachers who do not preform there jobs properly or appropriately! A lot of teachers who can not teach. And a unprofessional work place that only cares about money and sticking besides each other right or wrong. Which is not good for no business especially if it’s causing distress to students and making them feel as if there voice is not heard or they do not matter! I’ve made a complaint to corporate 4 times no one has yet to contact me about my experience while going here. This school is horrible in so many aspects and do not care who they bring in ! I’ve watch them proceed to accept people finically aid that is not mentally there or even high as a kite! They are all money hungry
