Okay I tried a few places in downtown Hot Springs but this place is the best. The beer is fantastic; the pizza is just as good; fantastic. But the beer is definitely the highlight, I was amazed at the quality. Okay small correction to my review. I don't think you get service like this anywhere in Hot Springs; from the first "hello," to the glass of cold water when you first sit down at the table, because, it is a little hot today, to the manager spending a little time to visit with me and she didn't have to and I really appreciated that, so I'm going to have to say that the superior service is also five star. ⭐⭐⭐ ⭐⭐

This place is a must stop for anyone in the Hot Springs area. The pizza crust was the perfect balance of chewy and crunchy, the sauce was exquisitely made in house and the toppings were all fresh and absolutely delicious. Their house made brews were also a perfect pairing to wash down their delectable pizza. The customer service and atmosphere was exceptional. For those that understand the reference, this place is reminiscent of what someone would imagine visiting the fictional Mystic Pizza location would be, right down to the secret sauce.

Really enjoyed our lunch here! Great atmosphere, pizza came out hot and fresh. Veggies still had a crunch to them, very cheesy, not heavy on the sauce & the crust was good! Really nice servers. Looks sketch from the road, but definitely worth the stop!

6.29.23 late lunch. Staff very friendly and attentive. Nice clean dining area and restrooms. We shared a Wide Load and I had one of their drafts. Pizza looked great the toppings tasted very good, the crust edge was crispy but the bottom crust was very soggy. I’m not sure if it’s their style but I think there was oil drizzled on the pan the pizza was delivered on.

Great food great atmosphere awesome staff We don’t typically visit the same place twice during vacation but this place was awesome. Had pizza the first night and the second time we stopped in for a salad for lunch and they were both AWESOME. Beer and ciders were on point!!!

We went on Saturday night around 8pm and it was really busy. The pizza ended up being really good (5/5)! We got a medium pizza which was just enough for two people to share. We also got the Greek salad (it was fire!) and pepperoni chips as an appetizer since they were out of garlic knots. The pepperoni “chips” were served with cold marinara sauce and were only good because we were so hungry. The service was also slow as the kitchen was so backed up with delivery orders.

Very close to Main Street of downtown hot springs. Street parking in front of the restaurant. You can see them making pizza through the window of their kitchen. We ordered the half Margherita / half greek pizza. Good food to eat after a day of hiking.

When visiting Hot Springs I enjoy all the food choices. This pizza is wonderful. Tonight (my 3rd time) seemed to be the best. We got a pepperoni and pineapple pizza and a margarita pizza and both were great. So what’s good? The crust is chewy and tasty- like New York style. The mozzarella is chewy and not overly stringy. The sauce complements it all. It may not be the cheapest pizza, but if you want a great taste, texture and aroma, it can’t be beat. We bought a large and medium (that was 1/2 off) and it was $40 with tax. Easily fed 4 of us with some left over. So $10 a person…not bad. Sorry the pics are of slices only, since I didn’t think about doing the review until after my taste buds told me to.

Highly recommend this pizza joint! For Celiac’s, this might be the best GF crust I have ever had. My server said it is made from scratch in house daily. The Meathead pizza was great. Plenty of craft brews on tap but I went with the house made cider, delicious. Can’t wait to go back again!

This place is an absolute gem. Don’t drive too fast cause you’ll drive past it. When we arrives they were barely opening, the decor is pretty cool, they have a piano/accordion theme going. I highly recommend the “wide load” pizza, if you’re a fan of meats and veggies this is a must. The waitstaff was more than attentive and friendly, this is a must stop. Great brews and food.

We love SQZBX, as this was our second time eating there. Once we were seated, we immediately ordered our drinks and meal. Nearly two hours later, we couldn’t wait any longer and left - as we were leaving, our pizza was coming out of the oven. This was not an issue with our server or the restaurant overcrowded - this was an issue of placing more importance on carry out before seated patrons. Our waitress was great and very apologetic, but this was not her fault. We simply could not wait any long, and after seeing how many pizza they produce in a give time by watching the kitchen from outside, it’s clear to see that carry out or delivery holds more value than seated customers. We enjoy SQZBX but we do not enjoy waiting so long to be served our dinner (a child’s pizza and a large).

We stopped by on a Sunday evening and ordered a Ham and Pineapple Pizza, a flight, and a small Pepperoni Pizza for our kids. Maybe we caught them on a bad night, but our Ham and Pineapple pizza was incredibly wet and soggy in some parts. The crust itself (at the ends) was fantastic but underneath the toppings was just floppy. The kids' pepperoni pizza was delicious though and my husband enjoyed the flight as well. Service was good.

I have lived for 50 years and this is the Best pizza I have ever had. Fresh toppings, a little black on the crust from the oven char. It was so, so good! The cheesy garlic knots were phenomenal.

When I stopped in today for the first time, I was greeted right away and offered a menu. Being short both on time and on cash, I opted to order to-go. I got the small Greek salad pictured below. The young man who took my order was friendly and welcoming, with a good sense of humor. The salad turned out to be top-notch; tasty and fresh.

Not much to look at from the outside but don't let that get in the way of some of the best pizza and atmosphere. Service was great and beer was great. We had the loaded garlic knots (could be aeal.on its own) and a medium meathead pizza. For 2 people we ended up taking half of it home. This is the perfect stop after a bike ride or a hike.

This place has the best beer. You can get growlers and the smaller size for the house too. I am drinking Americana Perfecta which taste like a summer day. Good pizza too.

The pizza was not the best but was okay for our quick stop. Service is 10/10. Very nice servers they have there. The ambiance was great.

Loved the ambience and beautiful musical instruments decor. Had wide load medium sized pizza and it was delicious. The bell peppers were bigger slices but loved rest of the toppings.

Great pizza and beer. Good selection of traditional German style beer with very good pizza. Large pizza was two meals for the two of us. Plus nice shaded patio or a/c inside is great.

I've been here twice - once before the pandemic and once after. I agree with other reviewers that it's not as good as it once was. Ordered a salad and vegetarian pizza. Salad was great - really flavorful Italian dressing. The vegetarian pizza was bland - they should add jalapenos or olives or something more flavorful to the toppings. Service was fine. I agree with other reviewers that price is pretty steep.. Grateful Head and Deluca have better pizza in Hot Springs, for cheaper.

Definitely a bit pricey! But the pizza and atmosphere were great! The server wasn't able to tell us if the medium was too big for one person (since the small was listed as 8 inches, which seemed kind of tiny) and we are here to tell you that yes, a medium is a ton of food for one person Get a small if its just for you! We ordered mediums and spent way more than we meant to and also had way more food than we meant to as well lol The flight of beer came in adorable little glasses

SO GOOD. we walked in because the smell outside was to die for and are we so glad. So much toppings on the pizza, all flavors work together, its so good

Overpriced pizza that tastes good and has fresh ingredients. Based on the other reviews we were expecting this to be much better than it actually was.
