The lady at the front desk was super nice and attentive. The lady at the bar seemed like she had better things to do that weren't exactly customer service. The bathroom in my room is pretty gross. What you may not see in the picture is easy to clean hair and mold buildup. The glassware is nothing I'd drink from either. Finger/lip prints all over it. Also, I'm not sure what deviant act required all the scotch tape on the ceiling but said deviant or at least housekeeping should have addressed this before I showed up. If you want "ultramodern" maybe this is your place. If you want a properly cleaned room, no. It's a shame because this seems like a cool little area.

Non-existing maid service. No staffing for the supposed restaurant/bar. This hotel does a bait and switch on the room cleaning policy. Every other day is the agreed upon schedule at check-in. However, the room is never attended to during your stay. This happened during two extended stays three month apart. Even if resigning to clean your own room, it’s nearly impossible to get rid of garbage and old towels. Getting clean towels, coffee, or replacing depleted soap is equally difficult. There’s just no service. They charge a high service price. They deliver no service.

This is a very nice hotel that is close to the cruise port. So close, that you can see the cruise ship. I bought a room that included breakfast. There was a nice outdoor patio that could be used in the evening or any time of the day. Otherwise breakfast is pay for what you order and a little pricey. The staff is genuinely friendly and happy to help any way they can. Our room had two queen beds, a small K-Cup coffee pot, refrigerator and microwave. It was clean and I would stay here again.

Tried to stay here for a wedding in the neighborhood, but when we got to our room the AC was broken with an error code on the thermostat. Called down to front desk and they said they were sold out, but maintenance would look at it right away… understandable, but awful to have to get ready for a wedding on a 95° day with no AC. When we returned from the wedding ac was still broken, and Keisha (?) at the front desk told us a lie that “oh maintenance went up and said it was fine” … no the error code still blinking on the thermostat meant the fan was broken was we googled, and it was over 80° in our room. I understand the place was booked, but I don’t appreciate being lied too. We live an hour away from the venue, so we told them we did not want to stay here and would not liked to be charged when the room was not fully functioning. Again Keisha lied when she told us “oh no problem at all, I understand, you will not be charged for the night” … the next day we WERE charged for the room, and every time we’ve called to dispute the charge they’ve given a different reason why they can’t fix the situation… oh that employee is not here and we need to confirm with her, the system is down, etc. really unacceptable and terrible service from everyone we’ve spoken too since.

We are just disgusted 🤮with how dirty the hotel beds, toilet and showers were at this location. A nightmare of an experience in this hotel.. We changed rooms 6 times,🤯 @ 1:30am the desk personal showed us 6 rooms in the same or worse condition.. Stains and hair in the mattress, in 6 rooms. Dirty black mold in sink, toilet and showers. Desk personnel did not take any responsibility. After writing a complaint to the manager, her answer was saying "thank you for the feedback" and they will speak with the housekeeping manager, and had the guts to say "we hope you will stay with us again in the future" - !!! 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔

Shower filthy, shower curtain filthy, took sheets off and was greeted to pee stains on BOTH of our queen beds. With one of the said pee stains being almost 3 FOOT IN Diameter!!! Absolutely disgusting! Wish I could post the picture. Don't stay here. U try calling the front desk. Noone will answer. Starbucks inside the building never opened. Horrible experience!

Very rudely refused to put *sealed* food in a freezer when they did not give me a freezer and then told me that my refrigerator functions as a freezer. it definitely doesn't. This would have been an easy way to help a guest when the facility is not busy. If it is "policy," this should be made known at check-in so guests don't waste money.

Stayed for the weekend in September 30th-October 2. We couldn’t be happier!! Steven was super helpful early in with helping me add a night to our stay, and was working every aspect of the hotel all weekend, keeping the wheels in motion. He’s truly a huge asset to this hotel. We will definitely stay here next time we are in town.

The fridge raider only works for two hours at a time. The fridge raider is so small you can’t even fit a 2 L in it. The parking is horrible. The shower shoots bullets out. For a place this expensive you would think they would have complementary breakfast free laundry and at the very least a fan in the bathroom. If you have to take a monster dump you better be at your room couple hours. Because there’s no fan in the bathroom. The only good thing about this place is it’s in a good part of Baltimore if there is one. Overall I’d find another hotel if I had to do it again

I would warn against booking at this property. I almost died from propane gas leak fumes that occurred on floor 8 and management offered NO APOLOGY whatsoever. They transferred me to a room on floor 2 that was dirty, clogged drained, and no hot water. They try to find a reason NOT to compensate you when things go wrong, and just like other reviews I read, they NEVER offer any type of compensation for anything wrongdoing. They also will change your rate without your authorization and blame you for it. I don’t recommend this property at all. The area is very nice but I would not support this privately-owned hotel who uses Marriott name. This hotel is not managed by Marriott and they will nickel and dime you to the MAX. Go somewhere else!

Great location, gorgeous interior design for the lobby and rooms. We had some issues with check in but very minor. Everyone was friendly. The hotel was VERY CLEAN. Amazing Service.

Nice place. Great view. Short hop to Camden Yards. Rooms werevery nice. Parking was right there and easy to park. Room was clean. Shower was good for tall people. Beds were comfortable. Was here for the night for a next day cruise. 5 minute drive to get to the port from here. If you want to leave from Baltimore for a cruise from out of town this is probably the best hotel to stay at.

THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT OTHER GUESTS HEALTH STAYING AT THEIR PROPERTY. I called in advance to let management know I had tested positive for Covid and they said there is no protocol and to simply show up. They said if I decided to cancel it was not a valid reason to waive the charge. I highly encourage you to look at other hotels. I have stayed here before due to convenience to where I visit, but never again. Rooms are never cleaned and the hotel is a few feet away from several active rail tracks which shake the structure/rooms/bed 24/7.

Very average stay at this Courtyard. Room and check-in were easy. Parking easy in large garage across the street. Convenient and short drive to areas in town. Problem: Room clean upon arrival. However, that was the last time. I had no soap in shower first morning. Took a request on the app to get it on Day 2. 5 night stay, ROOM WAS NEVER CLEANED. I asked twice for my room to be cleaned. Never happened. Verified with front desk if it was supposed to be every other day cleaning (front desk confirmed twice, app will tell you the same DO NOT TRUST IT). This is the first Courtyard I stayed in that ghosted on cleaning when requested... All I needed was trash removed, towels taken/replaced. I am Marriott Gold and never expect this any time I check in. Very strange experience and likely won't come back here.

New hotel, very nice location. Was able to get great service at the front desk when I asked for extra blankets. HOWEVER after driving for over 3 hours to get here (terrible weather) all I wanted was to sit at the Bistro, order a glass of wine and some food….and it wasn’t open. In fact, it hasn’t been open my entire stay. There was nothing on the website or within the hotel stating the bar/restaurant would not be open. Very disappointing for a weary traveler.

Very friendly staff. Parking is easy, there’s a garage right across the street where you can park for free and there’s a few spots down the block from the hotel itself. The rooms are modern and spacious. Everything was clean. Overall, a great experience. The only negative for me was proximity to inner harbor, fells point etc. Have to take a 10-15 min Uber to get closer to the action

The rooms were well appointed, the service was outstanding. The food was remarkable. On Friday night, I had the steak dinner. It was very tender, broccoli with steamed just right, seasoned with garlic and butter it was excellent. Because I am from Baltimore, I had to sample their crabcakes. On Saturday, night, I try them. It was the best experience.

The room was comfortable but after three days the bed ceased to satisfy. The shower was harsh. Not a fan of open showers (cold breezes) either. The room was attractive. The staff friendly. Location was the best part for my purposes, Tesla charger, grocery, and close to my destination.

I really enjoyed my overnight stay here but need to especially acknowledge the amazing, friendly staff I encountered. Particularly exceptional were the lovely ladies who checked us in and prepared our meal/drink we desperately needed after a long travel day. Thank you muchly!

New and clean hotel. There was one person at the front desk but it seemed adequate. There's a nice open lobby with a coffee and snack bar. Our room was spacious, clean, and quiet. It's nothing fancy, but kind of has what you need. Parking is super easy in the garage next door. It's also next to a giant Harris Teeter market with a Starbucks inside. You can't really walk to the sights but if you're driving, things are not far away.

Booked this Courtyard months ago due to it's proximity to the Baltimore Cruise Terminal. Also decided to park my car there, since they had a Park & Cruise package; with an overnight stay, was much less expensive than parking at the terminal. The parking itself was acceptable; just across the street from the hotel, in a covered parking garage. Felt very safe & secure. The people at Courtyard were very friendly, helpful & one gentleman in particular, the mgr who was on duty, we believe his name was Steven (we sincerely apologize if it wasn't Steven) bent over backwards to make sure we had an adequate, accessible room for our 2 mobility scooters! Rooms were comfortable, clean & well lit. There was more than enough room to stretch out with paperwork, if you needed it. The bonus of staying here was McHenry Row. Unique shops, cafes & Fat Patties was great & had delicious burgers & shakes. Harris Teeter (grocery store) is within walking distance & it has just about everything you may need - for a meal, for a cruise necessity or work supplies. Would definitely stay at Courtyard by Marriott at McHenry Row anytime!

Dime size hole in towel that someone must have seen. No complimentary lotion/products. Only one small bottle of water and had to pay $5.00 for another small bottle of water. At the bar was CHARGED $6.00 to have ICE in a mixed drink????? And a glass of red wine was the smallest pour I've ever had. I paid almost $300.00 for this hotel and really feel like you're trying to scam or rip people off. I'm so disappointed with this Marriott. The check in ladies were nice and it was convenient to my needs for this trip but when I compare to other hotels........ I wouldn't stay here again, especially after the Ice charge. My gosh, I would have gone to the 2nd floor and got my ice if I knew that in advance. Crazy way to make extra money.

Great hotel with lots of walkable places nearby. I've stayed here for work many times, and they've always done an excellent job at keeping everything safe and clean. Reasonable prices, and nice rooms with everything you need. The internet could be a little quicker compared to other Marriott properties I've stayed at, but it gets the job done. Some of the rooms have a pretty cool view of the railway and harbor if you like that sort of thing. The in-house restaurant is worth skipping, but there is plenty of great food and drinks a very short walk nearby. Also nice having a grocery store next door. If you're staying in Baltimore for tourism or work, I can't recommend this Courtyard highly enough!

Power went out during morning shower. But hotel did answer phones quickly so the panic was at a minimum. No staff, and paid $275 for an room per night. No breakfast because there was no staff to work it. No discount offered no apologies given. Wow. My reservation said 'exceptional breakfast included" I figured that's why the standard rooms cost so much. Save yourself some money go to a best western

Room and location was great, however we had housekeeping scheduled for Saturday (only one day of our three night stay), and they never came. Upon discussing any sort of adjustment to the bill at checkout, the manager refused. Not the type of service I expected from Marriott.

Nice, new hotel. The parking garage can be a bit difficult of a walk for someone unable so make sure you drop them off out front. They seem to be building all new Marriotts with those silly showers that have no doors and are mostly for aesthetic rather than logical use. The beds were comfy, though. The staff was really friendly and the bar was outrageously priced, as per all Marriotts.

Fantastic premise in a great part of Baltimore, plethora of quality bars and restaurants within walking distance. As for dedicated crew, they are the most friendly and helpful staff I've ever encountered working at a hotel anywhere, kudos to the entire team! Highly recommend to anyone to crash there if looking for a place to stay!

I stayed here in September and the rooms and staff were amazing. The location is great because Harris teeter is right next to the hotel. The breakfast is pricey but overall everything was really nice and clean!

Great place. Very clean. Staff was friendly and everything we needed was a short walk away. Harris Teeter and Starbucks within are 2 minutes walk. Garage parking is across the street and loads of good food are all at most a 10 minute walk if not shorter. Check out LP Steamers for some good steamed crab.

I had an extended stay at this location requiring me to make some meals, eat at the bistro, use laundry services, and work from the room for 8 hours a day - and they were all great experiences. Bistro - Food was above average for a small bistro with fresh cocktails and a nice social atmosphere inside and out. TVs with remotes available to watch whatever channel you wanted. Firepit and covered/shaded outdoor space. Room - ample room to move around the bed and furniture. A fixed and moveable desk to create a custom workspace. Small moveable side table to setup on the couch. Almost too many outlets, they were literally everywhere and well thought out. Mini fridge and microwave standard. The bathroom was well laid out and appointed too. Hotel - overall great staff, view, and location. Easy walking access to local historical landmarks, Baltimore inspired restaurants and crab shacks, and a grocery store & pharmacy literally next door.

I stayed here September 29th 2023. As a loyal Marriott customer and a gold member, upon arriving at my room, I discovered that the toilet handle was malfunctioning. I contacted the front desk to report the issue, but they did not offer to relocate me to a different room at that time. I also noticed that the air conditioner was failing to cool the room. I walked to the counter to express my desire to switch rooms, but I was informed that the hotel was fully booked and was instead offered a table fan . During the check-out process in the morning, I took the opportunity to discuss the problems I encountered the previous night with the manager. I explained the issues with the malfunctioning toilet handle and the inadequate functioning of the air conditioner. Additionally, I mentioned that when I requested a room change, I was informed that the hotel was fully booked. However, the manager clarified that this was not the actual situation and instead offered compensation in the form of loyalty points. I called the Marriott customer service and they annotated my complaint and said they will reach out to the hotel and I should be hearing from them soon. I haven’t heard anything yet.
