We spent a long weekend at the Canopy in Baltimore. The positive aspects were the location and the lobby. It is located in the Inner Harbor and has great views. We chose a King room with a balcony. Sadly, there was a winter storm on Saturday so sitting outside didn’t work out. We tried checking in on the app but had to go to the front desk. It was very busy and it took a while to check in. The room is well designed and laid out. The view was great. Dining was a miss on all tries. I had breakfast in the lobby one morning and the staff forgot about me for over an 1.5 hours. The manager was very good and she resolved it when we spoke. We ordered room service and had breakfast the next day. Eggs were over cooked and the room service wasn’t too good either. The hotel was busy and seemed to be enjoying a lot of activity over the weekend. The front desk staff were pleasant but lacked training. Overall, it is a great location with a lot of opportunity to train their team and better serve the guests.

This is such a beautiful hotel with a spectacular view of the harbor. The host at the front was incredibly friendly and professional. The rooms are beautiful and very clean. Everything felt brand new. They even have your name streaming on the TV when you come in. The rest rooms are spacious and have an amazing shower that fits 2, or to shave if you'd like. The terrace balcony view we had overlooked the water and you can see boats docked and going by. The bed was EXTREMELY COMFORTABLE, which was the best part. Perfectly fluffed pillows and just the right amount of firmness. The rooms are very pricey but for what you are getting and the location it makes sense. The only negatives which aren't the hotels fault is there is a massive building next door that is underground construction and is unsightly and the parking situation in the basement is confusing and a very long walk.

The Canopy in Baltimore, a very beautiful property located right on the Baltimore Harbor. The view from rooms facing the Harbor is fantastic. You can see the water, Domino Sugar plant, under Armour, and part of the city of Fells Point. Our experience during check in and check out was about the same, a little insipid. The front desk staff can work on their welcoming skills. They were not informative. We were not given the usual information given at a front desk, such as what is available at that property, where stuff is located, and when it is available. Overall, the hotel is fairly new, having opened in Oct of 2020, the rooms are still looking well and they are well maintained. The rest of the staff at this hotel is very nice, especially at the bar and restaurant, Cindy Lou's. The food, to my surprise is mostly southern cuisine. MD has it's own regional cuisine and I was expecting to see more of that on their menu. I'll review that separately. Back to Canopy, the views of the Harbor are awesome, the decor is modern with beautiful elements in earth tones using mostly concrete, metal, and wood. Rooms offer ample comfortable spaces, white sheets and comforter, wall to wall windows, white walls, dark wood floors, with all around wood and metal accents and furniture featuring leather seating. Choices in lighting in the rooms create a romantic ambiance or bright atmosphere, as personally selected. Water bottle with glasses available in rooms. Filtered water and ice available in one location on each floor. Main floor has a restaurant, bar, seating areas, pool table, restrooms, coworking space, and a sleek fireplace wrapped in glass and metal. Would definitely visit again.

This is the best hotel I have ever stayed at. It’s all about the people and comfort for me. I have stayed here four times. Every time the check in staff is wonderful and help me with anything I need. The restaurant has some of the best seafood in town, better than the 4.7 star restaurants in town. Also try the angus burger. The gym is clean and awesome, they are environmentally conscious and have unlimited filtered water on each floor. Bee and Shannon have checked me in and are absolutely wonderful. The restaurant staff are also amazing. Even the new people (shout out to my server Will) seem to emit this infectious happiness that makes me feel better after every stay. Did I mention it’s beautiful? It’s beautiful. YOU SHOULD STAY HERE.

Jocelyn (manager) was beyond awful, extremely rude to me and my children upon check-in. We considered leaving and canceling our reservation. The bartenders were just as bad, ignoring us when we were trying to place a order. The food was awful and burnt. The rooms have no insulation, you can hear neighboring rooms conversations, tvs, and drawers opening and closing. We had no hot water the first night we stayed, staff told us to let the water run for a while to get hot water, which did not work. The beds were not comfortable, they are worn in and lumpy. Construction started at 8am, waking us up. For the price we paid and the terrible service. I can not give this hotel a decent review. Some staff members were nice but the majority should not be working in a Hilton hotel. Extremely disappointed in my stay here wish I would of stayed anywhere else. I will never forget this terrible experience.

Hotel itself is very nice, the Fish House restaurant downstairs is excellent, but there is a showstopper: the parking arrangement. If you are not taking your own car there, it deserves five stars. If you are driving though, heaven help you deal with the 🤬 garage next door. They push you to use the parking app. Hell no! I am not installing an untrusted app to pay for parking, nor am I giving some parking company my cell phone number. The only alternative is to walk all the way across the garage to the other end, find a dinky kiosk, try to remember your license plate number, decide how many hours you will stay, and prepay by credit card. I did that once and I am not coming back for more. The nice young lady at the hotel reception did try to use her own phone and my card to pay for my parking, but her app failed. So I had to do the walk all the way across the garage evolution. Hotel should just install a parking kiosk at the reception desk, or better yet, make a deal with the garage so a customer (who happens to know their tag number) can add parking directly into their hotel bill. Then, I would return, especially for the excellent restaurant. Otherwise, sorry, no joy... PS: Don't bother with the fill this water bottle down the hall business 👎 Come on!!! I am not asking for plastic bottles, but I demand drinking water in the room ready for me. Fortunately, Fish House gave us a couple of their large cold water filled bottles to take up to the room.👍👍

This hotel is right on the water. Unfortunately, something really big is being constructed right next door, which will block some of the view. The room is cute with a wooden canopy over the bed and a barn door that separated the sleeping area from the entrance and another for the bathroom. The balcony has a small table with two chairs. There's also a partition out there so you don't see the rooms next door. The lobby has a huge fireplace and a pool table. The bar and restaurant are to the right of the entrance. The food is easy to expensive for the serving size. We paid $25 for lobster mac and cheese and was served in an individual cast iron skillet with no sides. Parking is expensive. The first section is % $30 for 24 hours. But wrap around the corner if that section is full, and you're paying $100 for 24 hours. The hotel does provide a coupon for that next section. You are allowed to enter and exit with that 1 24-hour purchase, but there is no guarantee that they'll be parking when you return, which is what happened to us. But the hotel manager helped me communicate with the parking company to request a refund. They pretty much ignored his 2 requests, so I submitted a refund request myself and the refund was granted.

The room is outstanding—spacious and cozy. I have a room with river views, and I love the scenery outside. The only drawback is the parking, perhaps due to ongoing construction, making it challenging to find a spot. The valet is accessible, though a bit pricey. Overall, our experience has been pretty good, and we thoroughly enjoyed our anniversary moment.

Lobby is beautiful and hotel bar has an amazing view. Service at bar was inconsistent one evening 3 people working bar not full but service terrible. Food is limited and ok for $$$$ but lots of great places within walking distance. Room was good, bed very soft and sits low. Pillows are the fluffy kind you get no support with. Needed to keep shoes on in room feel dirt on floor. Had a balcony room with a view of another building and a roof with weeds on it so definitely wouldn't book the balcony rooms again. Also had little critters in room and Hilton could clean better. Staff was amazing and we would stay again.

I had an excellent experience at the Canopy. Beautiful, clean rooms, a nice bar and restaurant with water views, and great service. I slept great on the comfortable bed. There is construction in the area but it didn't bother me. The location is walking distance to Whole Foods, restaurants, and shopping. One con: the outside dumpster and parking garage smelled horrible on a hot summer day. Other than that, this place is great!

Great location, very nice hotel with plenty of space and spaces to hangout. The views from pretty much every room are great! I checked out 5 different rooms on 3 floors with my co-workers. West side has a lot of construction, east side is directly in the sunrise. Pick your poison, construction starts at 7am. Parking was confusing for someone that's not from Baltimore. I would have valeted if they offered it. Breakfast and coffee/water station doesn't open until 8. Well, 8ish, usually had to leave without. Restaurant did not disappoint with food and service. The bar, depended on who was back there. I'm still looking for the perfect Baltimore hotel.

I stayed at The Canopy Hotel (Baltimore, MD). What an amazing hotel. I was greeted with such kindness, and this continued throughout my stay. I booked the king room suite, and my room had the most beautiful view over the harbor. The rooms were big and very modern. I had one issue that made it uncomfortable and that was the AC was not working properly… I notified the front desk when leaving for our evening out and they said they would see about it, but they were unable to fix it. However, upon checkout I spoke with DAVID and he was awesome and took care of me by giving me a free night due to the inconvenience. Other than that, one issue I can’t complain about this hotel!!! I will definitely return!!!!

This hotel is one of the nicest I've been to in a long time. Great customer service from all of the employees. The lobby/restaurant and bar are welcoming and feel like a great room. The rooms are set up PERFECT with just the right amount of space and the barn door separating the office desk/bed is great. Designed perfectly. Loved the filtered water down the hall and glass bottle. Well thought out and extra nice touches.

Our first time staying at the Canopy was July 19, 2022. We were impressed from the moment we checked in. The hotel staff were very accommodating and personable. The bartenders were friendly and made our drinks to our liking. The food was good too! The room was nice and the view of the harbor from the balcony was simple beautiful. Next time we are in Maryland we will be sure to make reservations at the Canopy.

I had booked my room months in advance. I got to the hotel and the staff told me they had overbooked and were trying to get me into another hotel. I told them no, I paid extra at this hotel to get the balcony and harbor view, I wanted the room I paid for and booked months in advance. The room had been given to someone else. The front desk staff wasn't the least bit helpful with the situation. After finally getting a room I was placed in a standard room. I come to find out that the walls in this hotel are paper thin. Banging, loud noises, and pipes running are all very much audible while sleeping. I've stayed at 3 star hotels that are nicer than this one and in a better location. I don't recommend staying here. Will most likely never stay at a Hilton by Canopy again. Marriott is the way to go for the same price and better quality.

Enjoyed my stay at this property. There is construction directly next door west of the hotel. The construction didn't interfere with my stay but could be an issue during the week in the daytime. The staff were very friendly and the room was awesome. There are a number of excellent places to eat, shop or for sightseeing.

Had a wonderful stay at the Canopy last week. The room was comfy and clean. The view was amazing. The hotel is right on the harbor and conveniently situated in the heart of the lively Inner Harbor/Fells Point neighborhood. Tons to do nearby. Jocelyn and Dawn were friendly, professional and super accommodating. They made sure our stay was perfect.

We stayed overnight here while waiting to go on a cruise the next day. The location was excellent near the water and close to shopping and restaurants. The room was nice, clean, and modern with a comfy bed. Would definitely visit again. The restaurant was excellent inside...my only minor complaint is that they did not offer an early breakfast on the weekend, just brunch from noon, which would have been okay except we were leaving early in the morning. We did find a great breakfast cafe close by, so all was good in the end.

Excellent Stay, Personable service and attentiveness. Loved the staff... From the valet, to the front desk, bartenders, serving team members and housekeeping. Our stay had a very chill vibe. Even though it was a tad chilly the balcony room was on point. One of the most surprising details was the location and convenience to many other walkable locations. We will Def return. If you are looking for a getaway or staycation definitely keep Canopy by Hilton Baltimore in mind.

Stayed here for one night and I truly wish I could have booked the entire weekend. The experience was absolutely AMAZING. It all started with being greeted by Shannon at the front desk who made us feel welcomed from the very start, offering us a room upgrade to a beautiful suite overlooking the harbor (perks of booking with Amex) and two free cocktails at the bar immediately upon our arrival. Shannon has truly set the benchmark for customer service, and it is evident that she cares deeply about her guests and their experience. It is not often you see the amount of pride, passion, and dedication to customer experience as I saw with Shannon. She is truly an asset to Hilton. The room was absolutely gorgeous and far exceeded our expectations. Overall a wonderful experience and we will not stay anywhere but The Canopy the next time we visit Baltimore!

The room was nice (could have been cleaner). I enjoyed my stay and would stay here again. It was so quiet all weekend so we were able to sit on the balcony and enjoy ourselves once we were in for the night. The location is great we could walk so many places within minutes. I thought I would have a better view of the harbor since I reserved a harbor view. I had a view of the harbor and the construction site next to the hotel. 1 negative was the construction next door. We had late checkout but ended up not using it since the construction woke us up early. The price was really good also. If you are looking for a reasonably priced weekend getaway. This would be a good option.

Love staying here to spend time with my husband as he works during the week. The kids enjoy the views of the boats on the water, so definitely recommend the corner suites when booking your stay! The city skyline at night from your suite is also fun to look at. We also enjoyed a short night stroll with the kiddos by the water. We will definitely continue to book our future stays with this hotel and I 10/10 recommend and love the smell of the body wash; however, I have to admit I am biased as I love the scent of lemons! 🤗

The hotel staff were extremely accommodating and the location of the hotel is perfect. You can easily walk to Fells Point, the Inner Harbor and all sporting events. But you are also removed from all of it when you want to call it a day. I highly recommend this hotel if staying in the area.

We are a family of 4 staying for two weeks and have really enjoyed the long stay. Everyone has been very kind, especially Shannon at the front desk. She has gone out of her way to make us feel welcome. The hotel is in a great location and walking distance to many great restaurants, bars, and activities. The rooms are clean and have wonderful views. I’d highly recommend a stay here.

The seasonal pumpkin soup was delightful. We chose the salmon from the expanded lunch menu, which was expertly caramelized and grilled. While the food was impeccable, it was on the pricier side. To illustrate, a 150gm slice of salmon cost $35, and the soup was $12. After adding the tip, our modest meal totaled over $55. However, there's no denying the excellent food quality and service. Both were outstanding.

GREAT EXPERIENCE! As a very frequent traveler, I have grown accustomed to a high level of expectation. This hotel was very clean and the staff was very friendly. Dawn (front desk) was timid to provide an upgrade but reached out to Beth (GM), who valued my loyalty and authorized the upgrade. Dawn asked James (engineering) to escort me to the room to ensure my satisfaction. While on the floor, April (Housekeeping Manager) provided expeditious service to get the room ready. The whole team was great and extremely accommodating! The location of this hotel is also incredible. It's about a 5 minute walk to a bunch of shops, bars, and restaurants. The views of the harbor were beautiful as well.

I had a wonderful experience here at this hotel for my friends wedding in Baltimore! Unfortunately, when I left… I left my beautiful suit hanging up in the beautiful hotel room! I contacted the lost and found where I was referred to a very nice lady by the name April Sketers, lead tidiness enthusiast! A Hilton fairy godmother, if you will! She sent me the suit right back, in perfect condition… And April was on top of it! Very diligent personality! If it was up to me, I would give this woman, a promotion… Because she has a great attitude… And she works hard! I will definitely be happy to return to the Hilton canopy in Baltimore! Happy travels!

I really enjoyed my stay at the Canopy by Hilton Baltimore Harbor. The rooms were spacious, contemporary, comfortable, and had great views of the harbor. Everyone who worked at the hotel was very friendly and accommodating. I had a great stay and will definitely be back if I’m in Baltimore.

By far one of the best hotels I have stayed in. This place was so nice and fancy. The rooms were spotless. Guy at the desk was super friendly and helpful. During our stay our balcony looked out to the construction right next to them. It's not the hotels fault but kind of sucked waking up to the noise. If you plan on staying here soon put that into consideration. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone.

My stay at the Canopy was great - 5+ stars. The lobby is very clean and up to date. The large fireplace make it a very relaxing space. The crab cakes were extremely good. The rooms were extremely modern. The staff was great. They have their own soap that took the shower experience to another level. I will be back. It is in a perfect location.

My stay at the Canopy was outstanding! The staff members, David, Dawn, and Melissa, were very attentive and provided excellent service throughout my stay. They always made sure I had everything I needed, from extra towels to providing restaurant recommendations. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the hotel had a great atmosphere. I would definitely recommend the Canopy to anyone looking for a comfortable stay in the area. I will definitely be returning here for all my business trips.

Love love lovely hotel, lovely staff all round (check in, restaurant) and lovely location. I checked into this hotel (after checking out of two) attending a wedding in Baltimore. Everything was great, service, room, food! My only regret was this not being my first booking choice. Thank you for your amazing hospitality Team Canopy Baltimore. You made a lady from London very happy.

This is definitely one of the best hotels in Baltimore. Staff is friendly. The rooms are clean and modern. The views are spectacular and the location is perfect. They have a nice pool table in the lobby. On top of all that the restaurant is great.

Melissa at the front desk was INCREDIBLY helpful! She went above and beyond to coordinate a Birthday surprise and it was so appreciated! She sent us a bottle of wine and helped with a room upgrade as well... Their harbor view suite has views to die for! You can't get a better view of the waterfront and the Domino sugar sign as you're literally right on the water's edge! Also, most comfortable pull out couch ever in the harbor suite! The terrace attached to the gym was a great spot to enjoy the views from outdoors! Downside is it's incredibly pricey, even in the off season. Price is what you pay and value you is what you get, with the right deal it's very much worth it. Only real complaint goes to housekeeping... Dust bunnies in the corners of the floors and walls and the bathroom needed a better scrub. Could have really ruined it if they hadn't hit all the other marks.
