One of the ice cream parlors with the richest and cheapest ice creams that I have ever tasted. I also love the style of the cones inside a container. The only drawback I could see is how small the establishment is. But everything else excellent. The best of the Best

Went to go pick up a ice cream cake order I placed last week. Upon arrival and seeing the cake I wasn’t satisfied with how birthday was spelled because it looked so sloppy and unreadable. Some Asian middle aged man came out who I’m assuming is the manager and yelled at me in front of my husband and daughter and kept pulling the cake away saying he was going to refund me when I only kindly asked that the word “birthday” be written on the cake again. That man is extremely nasty and the customer service I received was terrible. I feel so sad for those two young girls working there dealing with such a disgusting human being. Be kinder to people sir. No one was yelling at you. I was asking kindly for my cake to be fixed. Projecting your insecurities or problems on others isn’t welcoming and I am so disappointed and for sure won’t be returning.

Love the ambiance and setting. I love the outdoor seating, they have a great fresh selection of ice creams and toppings, the girls that work there are so sweet and welcoming.

It's one of my favorite ice creameries. You can create your own or pick from a list of all time favorites. I personally like the "Coffee Lovers" it gets a bit crowded at night but the line moves quickly.

Cold Stone has the best Ice Cream in town!

The staff was nice and helpful, and the service was fast. We found a hair in our ice-cream before trying it, but when we told the staff, they quickly gave us a new one. The place doesn't have much seating, only around 10 to 12 people can sit together. The ice-cream is a bit expensive, but it's good quality. Just keep in mind that there's no free parking – you'll need to park on the roadside (paid) .

The girl that work explain how it works since it was our 1st time there. Overall will be coming back to this & many more cold stone shops soon . 😊 I got the brownie fudge ice cream with whipped cream on top and carmel , chocolate sryup drizzle with almonds . Delicious

Customer service means everything and this place doesn’t have it. Not to mention they charge for an extra empty cup so our twins can split the ice cream. By far the worst place! Not quite sure how they have so many good reviews.

The treatment of black people is different. I will not be going back, Third time going here because I didn’t want to judge of my first 2 experiences but the ice cream is good! My experience definitely gotten worse each time. Besides buying 2 large ice creams I purchased a strawberry mango smoothie toda but clearly the worker put mostly ice a few strawberries and drops of mango. Since the owner was standing there I asked if I could get a smoothie that taste like there’s mango in it. (Sorry it’s summer mango mood)She looked at me like I was crazy (I’m sorry for expecting something to taste like what I paid for) she proceeded to throw my already drunken out of smoothie in the blender (ewwww) she added a few drops of mango juice and gave it back to me with the look. Say no more, I’m done!!!!✅

Great and fast service on a sunny Sunday afternoon, but please don't throw away the left over ice cream it could've easily be put in the top of the bowl I order 🙏🙏

Ice cream made me feel so sick after eating it. I’ve never had a problem with eating Ice Cream but I couldn’t even finish my bowl (I Love It) because of how sick it made me feel. Idk if they served me and my bf old ice cream or expired fruits but I have never felt this sick over ice cream. It’s been 2+ hours and the ache has yet to go away. I went at 9 but even if it’s near closing time they should not serve stuff if it’s been there all day/has expired. (I’d go to Gelotti’s or Carvels over this place, it’s expensive and not worth the stomach pain)

Lines out the doors, ice cream is decent service is fantastic but your concept and steps of service are horrible! I will never come back to this brand. I’m so sorry I love Ice Cream! I refuse to be on the line 30 minutes for one order. Good luck!

Wow! My experience at cold stone was better than I ever could have imagined. To start, it was a rainy day and I decided to go with my three very picky children to the cold stone near our house in Montclair. My kids weren’t very excited because they normally don’t like the flavors at average ice cream shops, however, this was no normal ice cream shop!!! The flavors were amazing and tasteful, made with any addition asked for with no complaints! The biggest highlight of this establishment were the workers, more specifically a worker named Lauren! She was very patient with my children (tended to them with a smile) and was able to keep them entertained well throwing ice creams in the air and catching them! She made jokes and even presented each of my kids with a little sticker along with their ice cream. We ended up enjoying our experience so much we decided to eat in, and invite all of our family to come get ice cream as well. They came, and once again star employee Lauren treated them with the exact AMAZING experience she treated us with! Overall the ice cream alone is enough to make you want to go, however, the cherry on top was Montclair cold stone worker, LAUREN!! If anyone of any authority happens to stumble across this little review please award this young lady for her amazing service and dedication to the job!!

This ice cream shop always has a line out the door because of how great it is. Staff is friendly and they make your order to perfection. However I have to say for the past two months I have been stuck getting the smaller shake size instead of the bigger one because they have been out of it. I get supply chain issues but the little bit of ice-cream you get in that shake for the amount of money I pay for it, doesn't seem fair. go to restaurant depot and get bigger plastic cups. Secondly, no apple pay??? your located in upper Montclair, everyone else including other cold stones have this option.

First time here, very clean place, friendly staff and very tasty ice cream. Signature creations are recommended! In the picture is the Oreo Overload, half of it....

AMAZING ice cream. I love how many signature flavors they have, and all the different combinations you can get. They have a multitude of flavors to choose from, and loads of toppings to get as a stand-alone or mix and match! It’s cool seeing the staff making your order right in front of you. The staff is very kind and I always leave this establishment satisfied with the service and ice cream. I highly recommend!! The picture I posted alongside this review features my current favorite signature order: Apple Pie A La Cold Stone! I got to add some banana slices to it too. So so so good.

Excellent ice cream! It’s a bit pricy, but your paying for the quality. I love the ice cream from this place! My bf and I visited in the early afternoon. It was clean inside and outside and the staff seemed happy to help. There is a small seating area outside. The only reason why I didn’t give this place five stars, is because the service felt rushed. Also, there are no napkins placed out for customers. When a staff member handed me napkins, she gave me four small paper napkins. A little cheap with the supplies I see…My bf and I were the only customers inside the store. Other than that, we had a good experience. I recommend you give it a try. 👍
