Place looks unkempt. Disorganized. Still taking orders on the side of the counter as if we were just starting covid vs ending pandemic. Boxes piled up. Walls dirty. Inefficient unnecessary slow service. Last photo is screenshot of my complaint w mgr’s flippant responses.

usually tasty but often disappointing because request for extra lettuce and onion is ignored. another time: ordered cheese steak with extra meat and it definitely did not have extra meat. also very little onion and pepper and the cheese was on one side completely stuck to the wrapper. definitely will pass on that next time the sandwich is surely not made with love. stick ball sandwich had way too much oil and vinegar it was completely soggy and inedible

The owners are very friendly, the staff is very friendly and well trained. It’s very hard to tell the owners from the staff because they all work like they own the place. Sandwich was just ok. Not a huge deal but of the ten napkin dispensers, all were empty. Had to take some from a stranger.

Jersey Mike's has many terrific sandwich shops across this great country of ours. However I can say with all certainty that there is no better Jersey Mike's than the one located on Prospect Avenue in West Orange, New Jersey. I have been a regular customer there since it opened in 2014 and I have never been disappointed. Every sandwich I have ordered has been terrific (I recommend the Portobello Mushroom and Swiss. That sandwich is so highly addictive that the Surgeon General should put a warning on it.). It's not just the sandwiches that are great. The staff at this particular location is excellent in the truest sense of the word. The manager of the shop is named Lisa. She treats her customers and her staff with the utmost respect. Lisa is not only a great manager, she is a great person. The same can be said for the shop's Assistant Manager Romaine (If you are reading this review Romaine, I apologize if I have spelled your name incorrectly.). He is just as a great a manager and as great a person as Lisa is. There have been many times when I have visited the shop that the staff is very busy. I am amazed at what a great they job they do keeping up the pace. Despite that they make every effort to make sure they get every order correct and I think that is just phenomenal. I guess you can figure out that I highly recommend the Jersey Mike's Subs location on Prospect Avenue in West orange. I can say with all certainty that you will be very pleased with your order, the great employees who prepared it. I can't wait to go back!

I love the sandwiches but sometimes people there just slow. It says tomatoes and mayo but I got none sad, tomatoes are already supposed to be on it anyways. I picked it up, took a shower and came down to eat it two hours later just to see this. Disappointment immeasurable, day is ruined. Looks like it's a pattern, someone should get fired... 🥱

Always a super-upbeat vibe here. Good music. Nice folk. I order a Giant Veggie on wheat with no mayo, no cheese. I love that they give me a discount for the lack of cheese; it makes the sandwich a massive bargain. And then what I sometimes do is, I bring the sub home and put MY OWN vegan cold cuts on it. LIFEHACK! Definitely really like Jersey Mike's. I'm planning to go a lot more.

Speedy and great sandwiches and tubs

Ordered through DoorDash. That’s a whole different review. After paying 27$ for a “giant” big kahuna and a brownie, I’ve got to say it was a very disappointing experience. The sub was not bad at all.... well at least the small amount of meat and toppings I tasted. The bread was decent. All in all, a slightly better than average chain store sandwich. Overpriced... understuffed.... lol

Ordered through UBER EATS TONIGHT. GOT THE BIG KAHUNA CHEESESTEAK NO JALAPENOS! UNKNOWINGLY MY DAUGHTER TOOK A BITE AND WENT INTO ANAPHYLACTIC SHOOK DUE TO THE JALAPENOS. WE HAD TO RUSH HER TO THE HOSPITAL AS WE COULD NOT LOCATE HER EPPY PEN! DO NOT EAT HERE THEY DO NOT FOLLOW SIMPLE FOOD INSTRUCTIONS THAT ALMOST KILLED MY ONLY CHILD!!!!!! I SPOKE WITH DAWN WHO WAS ALOOF AND UNCONCERNED ABOUT THE SITUATION! Will REACH OUT TO UBER EATS FOR MY MONEY BACK!

Having been a frequent consumer today I wasn't impressed with my sandwich. Little to no meat, excessive lettuce. Just wasn't the normal sandwich for $8 I usually get. Today was a failure, sorry guys.

Jersey Mike's Subs of Eagle Rock Mtn. West Orange was good & delicious. I went spring shopping earlier within shopping area, afterward I tired & hungry for nice footlong sub. The staff was very nice & friendly with all customers, they take their service with great pride. Well done Jersey Mike's Team.

Tbh not the best jersey mikes sub I've had. Got the club supreme giant. Mikes way mayo extra vinegar. But instead get no onions, bacon bits (no strip just crumbles), and a very oily sandwich. Def felt robbed of $20 bucks. Like not the biggest thing in the world but really terribly made sandwich.

I'm sorry and people will be mad but if you are going to work with the public please know English I should not be telling you my order 5x until someone understands me I know everyone needs their job but learn to communicate good English and understand it

Been to a lot of Jersey Mikes and i was pleasantly surprised by the incredibly friendly service i received at this location! I Highly recommed it during these days of drive through voices and numb personality service you receive elsewhere. Food was good and the sewrvice fast. I will surely be back.

So I have attempted orders from Jersey Mike West Orange location twice. Unfortunately both times were a BIG disappointment and the last time my mother got food poisoning from one of the sandwiches there, which I now have to report to the health department. Please be aware when eating at this location.

Had a Philly cheesesteak here and it didn’t disappoint. The staff was friendly, the sandwich was stacked with meat, onions & peppers & a creamy white cheese. Loved every bite!

Customer service is clearly #1 at this location. Everyone is friendly and accommodating and although the food is pricey, there are no great alternatives to a fresh deli sandwich in the area. Service and food are great!

I've been here a few times the past two years. During this pandemic, they are open and taking phone or app order, or simply going in person to place your order. The staffs here are always friendly and polite. I never have an issue redeeming a coupon. Regarding the food, I always get a hot sandwich. My recent order, I got the cheesesteak. So delicious! It's a little pricey but definitely worth the money. They recently installed a barrier between customers and the staffs. They are definitely taking all the precaution measures to ensure everyone's safety.

Omg went here for the first time and from ordering to completion the only guy in the building Kevin made sure to make my experience amazing. Answering the phones with great etiquette although I was supposed to order online he took my order over the phone and was great from the call to me picking up my order and I just wanted to say out of the entire staff Kevin made it a great experience

I love Jersey Mikes but apparently these people can’t work a register to well. The girl rang me up and I was about to pay cash and just realized I had a gift card and was told I can’t use it because she rang me up already, Thanks!! Most places can void a sale and start over.

During COVID Rating: 1 Star. The lack of messaging and direction leads to way too many people inside in a tight confined space. Social distancing is nearly non existent as there is not enough space and no instructions. They need to limit the number of people inside the store and set up a system so that people can wait outside but know when their sub is ready. Or Jersey Mike needs to bring the food to the door. They also further limit their space by not pushing the furniture all the way to the walls. The place seems like a covid-19 infection point. Pre-COVID Rating: 4 stars. Good but pretty pricy for subs.
