Very clean and short trail that would be great for your kids. A lot of interesting facts to check with some interactive points. Near exit of a trail nice small playground located. On the other side of the playground, you could find continue of a trail with nice picnic area inside the forest. Located near trail science center of Watchung reservation.

We were looking for a short trail to get our girls out of the house and this was perfect. You can easily complete this trail in just a few minutes, the second perk was there weren't very many people around so we could explore easily. I would suggest bringing some hand sanitizer and a picnic lunch to make a great afternoon of the outing.

Beautiful trail for a light walk, plus have wonderful information stands throughout the trail

Terrific walk on a damp day. Flora and fauna was interesting...guide was knowledgeable and fun. L Plenty of parking...1 hour walk was comfortable. Will do it again

Easy flat trail but lots of discarded trash like bottles, potato chip bags, especially near the kids playground area. Fines should be implemented - either the parents are not watching over their kids or they're the ones trashing the area. Either way, it takes away from the scenery everywhere you walk especially around the short easy trails.

Trail is beautiful even in winter. The adjacent trails are also good.
