My wife and I stayed here 5/25/23 - 5/28/23 for our wedding anniversary. Room 336 up stairs pool side. We had a lovely time. The staff were very friendly and our room was very clean and comfortable. This is an older hotel so bear in mind we do understand that the bathroom was a little outdated but hey this charm of hotel was perfect for us. We were glad we were further west from the main (Pier Park) area/ lots of partying and just overall crowded east section. My only complaint would be that the hotel guest not slam their hotel room doors through-out the night. I would make a sign for each room on the back of their door stating "FOR COURTESY OF OUR RESORT GUEST, PLEASE CLOSE DOOR GENTLY, UPON OPENING AND CLOSING. THANK YOU". other than this. We had a great time. The Pool was very clean/ the sun deck was nice/ and you were literally steps away from the Gulf. We definitely would come and stay here again. Cheers

Great service by everyone that we had contact with! Great location if you like less congestion. The only issue would be that this is a nice older hotel.Built before you needed electrical outlets every few feet. But the next time we stay here or next month! I'll simply take a couple of extension cords. I would love to say that this place is a dump and everyone was a pain in the butt! But I can't! Because I don't want to stay anywhere else now and I could be booked up! Highly recommended!

Loved the place it's very nice and reasonably priced. It has a great view and the rooms are very clean and neat. Full sized refrigerator.and large sink . Also has laundry access on the fourth floor off the elevator the appliances are clean and up dated . Only 2$ to wash and 2$ to dry, they are pretty large load size and u can get soap from front desk for a dollar. They have a bar by the pool and a sun tanning deck on the level above. they have hot tub and swimming pool, also a shuffle board area. You can rent golf carts from front desk on site. All around great place. The staff were excellent and courteous.

The front desk doesn't know what's going on. We were told our group would have our rooms together. We weren't even close. We had to call to have our room cleaned. We downgraded our room because it was so far away from our group, and they wouldn't even offer us credit for the remaining balance to come back.

Can’t beat it for the price and location. The outside is a little rough but the rooms were nice inside & the workers were friendly. We had a double Queen room with the view and it was spectacular! We stayed for 5 nights and my only complaint was the fact that there were 16 sets of chaise lounges on the beach and nobody was laying in any of them almost our entire stay there because they tried to charge you extra for them. I think reviews would only go up if you had those first come first serve to people staying at the resort and continue to reserve the chairs directly on the beach or something. The first 2 days nobody was out there collecting money so we thought we could just use them and then after that every day they wanted extra to sit there. The pool was nice and the bar was good as well. We spent A LOT of time at the pool. Enjoyed the outdoor showers for coming off the beach there were a lot of them so nobody had to wait. The elevators kind of scared me on occasion, very slow but really I had no major complaints about our stay here and would come again for sure!

We enjoyed our 1st visit here. The location and views are spectacular! Can't beat it for the price. The rooms are pretty outdated but we didn't care. Great beach access. We'll be back!

I fell in love with this hotel. Not a luxury place but clean and comfortable rooms at a good price. All rooms have spectacular ocean views. Nice pool area also. The front desk clerk Jamie was welcoming and helpful. Very pleased with our stay.

The location of this place is great! The rooms are beautiful and have a wonderful view! There are two reasons I gave this 3 stars and it has nothing to do with the room. Checking in was fine the man who checked me in was nice. However the woman working during the morning checking out was extremely rude! I understand having a bad day or having to work in the morning but if you are working the front desk a little respect to your customers would be nice. Checking out she rolled her eyes at me. I happened to leave a bikini in the bathroom of the room and when I called to check to see if they had it she gave me extreme attitude and told me room service did not find it. It wasn’t until the manager called back who actually seemed to care that the bikini was found. Upon arrival to pick up the bikini I had left at the front desk I politely asked if they had Apple Pay because I wanted to grab a snack at the front desk… she proceeded to say “does it look like we have Apple Pay” and not in a friendly way she said it with attitude. She made me feel very uncomfortable and not cared about at all. If you aren’t happy with your job go out and find another do not ruin other people’s trips because you aren’t happy. And if you stay here don’t even bother checking out in the morning as you will want to avoid her attitude. The second reason was because the elevator stopped working but we were only one story up so it wasn’t to big of a deal.

Great location! We loved it. Basically, it's a couple of miles away from the crowd. The hotel has a beachfront, and it was almost empty, just a few families and kids running around and enjoying the sand and water. I do recommend the place.

I gave four stars because the room had a damp/mildewy smell but it was otherwise clean. It was a really good room for the price. Very spacious with a fridge and microwave. Not too far from pier park and also close by other restaurants/shops. I prefer staying on that end of the beach over staying closer to pier park because it’s less congested.

We just love it!! We are second time in this hotel, because we absolutely loved it last year. Our room with kitchenette is exactly what we were looking for. Few steps from beach, we don’t need shoes to go to the beach, it’s literally 10 steps from our room and very close to pool.Jamie at front desk gave us exceptional service by giving us information about hotel, room and was very friendly. I already recommended this hotel to a friends.

We absolutely loved this place - planned to stay just one night and ended up tearing ourselves away after three! Basic accommodation with the best views you could wish for! Very peaceful. Staff all very friendly and helpful, in particularly the two gentlemen named Veryl and Paul.
