Absolutely wonderful! They office is warm and inviting! The ladies at the front desk are super helpful and give you the best advice on food. I was a little hesitant to go here because we have gone to two different vets looking to help my little kitty with her urinary issues, but our vet was wonderful! She listened to us and gave her an x-ray and even antibiotics to make sure she was taken care of even though it was not a UTI! This will be our vet from now on. :)

My boyfriend and I just got a new puppy and we looked into several veterinaries in the area. This one was overall THE BEST!! We visited a few and yelp/google researched the rest, but this is the one that we chose for our pup. Here’s why- We are new puppy parents- we are nervous, we are deeply researching and prepping constantly, we want the best for our new little ball of love (she’s a mini dachshund named jelly bean!). VMC was everything we wanted for her- they were compassionate about pets. The whole staff greeted us and every other pet (and their people) that walked in with enthusiasm, kindness and patience. They have a state of the art facility- very clean and up to date but still warm and welcoming (no cold office feel). The staff and the Vets were very thorough (!! This was a big one for me because more than one of the other Vets we visited didn’t say more than 10 words to us!!) - they answered all the questions we had and even anticipated ones we were going to have and gave great advice !! All this while being precise and polite. And the pricing was perfectly moderate- not cheap to question what you’re actually getting for paying so little, but also not expensive in terms of pet care. Needless to say, we are sticking with VMC for Jelly Bean for as long as we live in the area. I’d recommend them to any pet parent!! Thank you VMC !!!

A friend recommended Dr Steve to us and he has been so wonderful. We saw Dr Tenser recently and he was also great. Dr Steve performed the spay on our kitty and she did great. We’ve had nothing but thoughtful care for our pets and front desk staff are also wonderful.

I have been seeing Dr Steve and others at Veterinary Medical Center of Studio City for many years. Only during Covid was it difficult to get an appointment. All the staff are friendly helpful and compassionate.

Very disappointed with the awful and digradimg way I was treated by Mr Flores. I have been a client of VMC since 1995 I have brought all five of my pets here over the years as well as made numerous referals. Dr Aboulafia has always been respectful and treated my pets well. I have not had the best of luck with the health of my babies as I know most can relate to this. I have spent over 50, 000 at this hospital and never once complained or questiomed a diagnosis . I have had a very good two years with no animal crisies until the other day when my cat Barnaby had signs of distress I imediately put him in the carrier and go all the way over the hill from Westwood amd I am shocked by the complete and total disregard for me and Barnaby. Kt was ridiculas I was ushered into a room and met by a very rude Mr Flores who informed me for the first time that I had an outstanding balance of $ 150 when I told him that I was unaware of any balance owed and that I would pay it imediatly he tells me that I have to pay him $480 due to this bill going to collections. Does he think im an idiot? Aparently because if it is in collections which according to him this bill was sent to. Which means the debt was sold and he had no business trying to extort any money from me. Doesnt he know EXTORTION IS ILLEGAL! He thinks he can get away with treating people this way, there will be consequences. I will be reporting this incident in hopes to save anyone else being treated in such a malicious way. I couldnt believe it I reminded him of all the business I had given them over the years I also told him I was never made aware of this bill and paying interest is ridiculas i asked to speak to Dr Aboulafia andhe said it would be mute He was rude and mean and all over 150 Im disgusted with this place. He refused to see Barnaby. Which is a blessing because I found Sherman oaks vetinary hospitald Dr Richter is an angel and the place an is much nicer his staff is caring and polite and thanks to his excellent care barnaby is doing much better.

Dr Debbie and all the staff treated my boy Whiskey so well! This was our first time coming here, and we will certainly be back for future check ups. We were able to make a next day appointment in the morning when Whiskey wasn't feeling too well. They did a blood draw and got results same day. Now I just hope Whiskey won't fake being sick because they spoiled him with treats haha. Thank ya'll so much for taking amazing care of my boy.

We took our cat here and loved them. They were super caring and gentle with her. Our cat had to have a pretty big surgery and they did a really great job. We felt their pricing was really fair. Highly recommend.

We were very pleased to find VMC!! Dr Steve was wonderful. He explained everything very clearly and shows an obvious love for animals. We even received a handwritten thank you note from Dr Steve after our visit. Thank You, Dr Steve and the staff at VMC!

I am so grateful that I found and took a chance on going to this office. My dog has seen his vet regularly and quite often I’ve felt confused and rushed during his appointments so I decided to try somewhere new. The overall experience was great. The waiting room was clean with and easy check in process and they got my dog and I into a room relatively quickly. We spoke to a ‘nurse?’ who took his temperature and got the reason for our visit before bringing in the doctor. This was already a much more thorough experience than what I had been used to. Dr. Kia came in and gave my pup a through examination, heard my concerns and what treatments I’ve tried with my pup, answered all of my questions with honesty/transparency, and left me feeling more empowered/equipped to take care of my baby by the end of our visit. The front desk checkout process wasn’t as attentive as I had hoped but overall a wonderful experience.

Wonderful pet care! I've taken all of my cats there for many years. I usually see Dr. Steve who is soo extremely caring with my cats and is such a good, kind doctor. I've had only positive experiences with the other doctors as well. Their staff is always so nice, so patient, so helpful with making/changing appointments, update calls. They all handled the pet drop offs and care so well during the Covid shut down, still caring for our pets. The parking is so easy and the waiting room is large and comfortable I cannot say enough good about VMC!! I highly recommend.

Dr. Debbie, Heaven, Kira…everyone that works there is so kind and reassuring. I took my 19 week old kitty, Salem Bell, in for a checkup follow up, and I am so glad I did! The entire experience from making the appointment to the appointment itself, was so smooth, and I appreciate it all. Dr. Debbie was so knowledgeable and listening and was very helpful. My little furbaby was so relaxed and calm from waiting room to exam room! So grateful to have found such a great place for my pets!

It’s hard finding a good vet, especially when most reviews can be scary since our little fur balls often come to the vet sick and emotions are high. I’ll say I brought my boy in for a check up and the team was so sweet and caring. They handled my cat well and were extremely communicative and attentive. Would recommend this practice.

Fast and friendly service. Dr Steve was great! He was very knowledgeable and treated my dog with the utmost kindness. I so appreciate that. Plus, the front desk responded to me promptly when I emailed them earlier today. Overall, very happy and will be back! Update: We’ve since seen Dr Debbie as well for our other pup and she was fantastic. Caring, knowledgeable, and willing to go the extra mile. We’re so glad we found VMC.

The best. Dr. Steve has been taking care of my furry family members for over 20 years. he takes his time and is considerate. he has been there at the beginning and the end of my pets lives and is absolutely the sweetest and most loving veterinarian I have ever met. He truly loves what he does and it shows. I know I am always in good hands with him.

I have been to many different vets in my life, but I can say truly that this is the best. Dr. Steve is so amazing. My Pepper had loved him when she was alive. Basil and Pickles adore him. He is so sweet to them. Pickles is an anxious girl and nervous at first with men. She only screeches with glee for me, grandpa, and her aunt. It was only the second time she met him when she immediately screeched louder than ever. He has a care that is truly wonderful. Basil gets excited for the vet with him and the wonderful staff. My cat, Juniper sees Dr. Kia. She is a spicy little brat. But for Dr. Kia Juniper immediately purrs and relaxes. I wish she would do that when I brush her!!! The staff especially the receptionists are so positive and kind and caring. They make your dogs and cats feel like celebrities! They also keep the lobby clean and there's free coffee!

Been using them since I got my first dog in 2005 and they have always been great and responsive to my needs. Doctor Steve is another level of Vets and sits on the floor with the animals rather than having them scared on a table. My family and I are especially grateful for your support and guidance when we had to put our dog first dog down. The calmness and care taking us through that experience made it so beautiful. Thank you!

Love this place! They’ve cared for and loved my pets even though I’m not the best at regular visits. They’ve supported me through hard visits and humorous ones.

This place misdiagnosed my dog. Took her in on Saturday with symptoms of not eating, discharge, and lethargy. I mentioned that I thought it could be pyometra as I've been researching about it. We did blood work, urinalysis , and culture test. The doctor said there's no way ot could be pyometra as my dog just ended her heat cycle. He disregarded my concerns about pyometra and said it wasn't that. Apparently to him the blood work was "unremarkable" on Tuesday as I was looking at her bloodwork, I noticed her globulin levels were high. Mind you I am not a vet and I knew that was a sign of inflammation and infection. When I called there office to ask about it, the front desk seemed annoyed because I was persistent about speaking to the doctor before the end of the day. She finally "flagged down" a doctor (her exact words. And he relayed a message to her. Didn't even speak with me directly. Said if I'm worried about pyometra, take her to emergency. Crazy. Today I took her to my normal vet and they diagnosed pyometra solely off of the test that were taken at this office. Her lab work was suggestive of pyometra. My dog is currently in emergency surgery. If your pet has an actual problem, please don't take them here. This place is horrible. I will say, the girls in the front are nice but at the end of the day you're coming there to treat your sick pet. Don't come here!

VMC donates its time to Los Angeles Animal Services and rescue organizations, which I respect. And when a pet in their care passes away, they make a donation in its name, which is so touching.

Veterinary Medical Center is fantastic. The staff are absolutely wonderful and go above and beyond to care for your pet. I receive an itemized bill for every visit so I can bill my pet insurance and the doctors are never pushy about adding on additional vaccinations/meds. They only recommend what they think is really best for your pet. Special shout out to Dr. Tentser, Dr. Safatian and all the vet techs. Thank you for always providing the best care to our fur babies.

VMC is a very well organized and caring practice. I am continually impressed with their professional level of service - from the doctors to techs to front desk staff. My dog is treated with a lot of care and expertise. When I call with a medical question I get a call back! I highly recommend this practice!
