Wonderfully beautiful modern thoughtfully and tastefully decorated rooms. Good location. Fantastic, friendly & helpful housekeeping staff. Bed was too spongy soft for me and rooms too stuffy to sleep well when it's very warm out. The a/c doesn't go any cooler than 72 degrees. Very nice otherwise.

This hotel has got the guest experience at the top of its list. Check in info was sent in advance and really clear, but we were met by a member of staff that made it even easier. We stayed in Room 11 with a view of the Hollywood sign & Griffith Observatory. Epic. We bought vinyl from Amoeba in Hollywood and could play them in the hotel room on the Cambridge record player. We have never had this at a hotel before. So cool. Alexa, Audio & Apple TV systems all linked. Great set up. A curated vinyl album was placed on the bed as a gift to take home. We love it! A couple of free drinks tokens was a nice touch. I kept mine as a souvenir of the stay. Gig downstairs was JJUUJJUU and tickets were all taken. We skipped the line and got in for free as guests. Felt like true VIPs. The ability to text/WhatsApp staff for service is a great idea! Great IPA & Cider at the bar. Big fridge & coffee making facilities in the room made the stay feel like home. Tony’s liquor across the road looks small, but is a TARDIS with a huge selection of chilled local craft ales & ciders. If you need a second hand hoover, they are available on the sidewalk. Seriously. Also a 7-Eleven opposite for all your standard stuff. Forever Hollywood Cemetery is within walking distance with a couple of the Ramones in residence. Worth a visit. Really cool place with palm trees and peacocks to chill out after a full on night. Sassafras Saloon and The Three Clubs are a short hop from the hotel. Both had live acts playing and the staff / locals were really friendly and welcoming. Room 5 is a green room for touring bands on gig days and guests the rest of the time to chill in. We used it after check out to get our heads straight & order a Lyft to the airport. Stay at this place!

What a wonderful East Hollywood gem for a long weekend in LA. With built-in entertainment every single night, this was the ideal stylish getaway for a long birthday weekend. Many thoughtful and practical touches in the room with as much or as little communication from staff as you wish. I felt safe both in the hotel portion as well as at the bar during busy nights and was pleased that the overnight parking lot, though not secured, was nothing to worry about for my rather flashy rental car for the weekend. Great location to get to all my desired destinations throughout the weekend. I will most certainly be looking for another opportunity to come back for a stay in the future.

Had SUCH an excellent stay! The hotel has such a special vintage feel but with a completely revamped artistic touch. Whoever curated the art, coloring, design layout, and furniture deserves an award. Chic, calming, with pops of glamorous charm. SUPER comfy bed, excellent shower & amenities, and the staff is soooo accommodating and cool! 10/10 would stay here again.

Very cool boutique hotel. Doesn’t look like much of anything from the outside but once you enter it’s quite amazing. The decor is very vintage-modern and everything is clean and comfortable. The bed is amazing. The fridge is stocked with so much good stuff. Each room has a vinyl player and records to choose from. Alexa controls everything in the room. Feels like you are in your own home. I would def stay here again. Side note: the bar downstairs is a music venue and is pretty popular so if you are looking for somewhere really quiet this prob isn’t the place for you.

Stayed here two nights over a weekend in a room right over the bar. It was insanely loud to the point where it felt like we were on the dance floor. Even with the earplugs we found in the room, I had a hard time sleeping. And I’m not even a light sleeper. Our room was super nice and hip - but it’s absolutely ridiculous to pay this amount of money for a space that didn’t give us any rest.

We had a great time at Gold Diggers! This indie hotel is a bit different than your typical hotel. Instead of a plush lobby, it's on top of a hip dive bar / music venue. Dive almost feels like it's not the best word because the cocktails we had were amazing. I used my drink token to get a Last Word and it was delicious. Once you get upstairs it feels very high end. The Malin Goetz candle smelled amazing (we bought one when we got home) and the nespresso pods + cute stone cups were nice. We loved the balcony in our room (room 6) and the bed was super comfy. The artwork is great and we enjoyed the lounge as well. It's in a convenient location if you're going to hang out in hollywood or silverlake/ los feliz area. My only complaint is you may have to carry your suitcase up a few flights of stairs since there's no elevator / help. Would definitely recommend and would stay again!

The pictures on the website are exactly what the hotel looks like. The furniture is great quality and the beds are so comfortable. We really enjoyed the bar downstairs and actually looked forward to coming back to the hotel room. 10/10 recommend!

This is the most beautifully designed hotel we've ever stayed at. Seriously. There were so many little touches like earplugs, records to play, the Calm app installed in their TV system, and a white noise machine. The way the design seamlessly blended will leave you feeling inspired. While the parking and exterior may seem lacking, the captivating mystery as you ascend the stairs to a personally designed room will leave you both excited and delighted.

I absolutely love this hotel. The rooms are decorated so beautifully. I played several shows in the bar/venue downstairs (before covid) and was always taken care of and welcomed with open arms. It truly feels like a family here. I love supporting independent businesses and this boutique hotel is one of my favourites. Great location. Amazing staff. Can’t recommend it enough!

Such a great gem of a hotel. Beautifully decorated and the bar venue downstairs is super fun, with live shows all the time. Room 6 has a great balcony with a view of the skyline and the Hollywood sign- so great! Parking is very easy and plentiful. Can’t wait to stay here again soon.

Cool place to stay if you’re in the area. And don’t mind city noise. Room was cozy, and clean. Had everything I needed. I stay in a room right about the bar and they had tunes going til last call (1:30am) but it was chill. Knew what to expect. Would stay again. Oh, parking is free, like a 5 minute walk, if that.

Great boutique hotel, room was as described with some lovely personal touches with a great contemporary feel to the room. We knew we were booking a room in a hotel above a bar so noise was to be expected. Saying this, we slept well and did not need to use the ear plugs or white noise machine that were provided.

My family and I needed a place to stay while attending the 2023 Cure concert. We found this place online randomly and scored a room. The service in phenomenal. Shout out to Nikki. She showed us around and showed us how to use the rooms. This hotel does not play around. The staff is on top of it. Every single penny is worth it. I am defiantly staying again when I visit Los Angeles. 5/5 Stars.
