This is a true gem of serenity tucked into the urban sprawl of Southern California. It is primarily a neighborhood park for the high end residential city of San Marino and there is limited but free parking there. It is landscaped nicely with a wide, grassy central area the locals picnic and play soccer on. Numerous walking paths run through the park and there is a well appointed playground for children. Dogs on leash are permitted. There are also public restrooms. A very safe and special place to take an evening stroll...

Very nice, walkable park. Good for children and pets. Very clean and well kept. Has multiple walking paved trails. Went here during weekdays, good amount of people in the park. Occasional cop car circling the park so it's very safe. Parking available and there are a lot of street parking by St. Albans Rd which is near the gates. There's a lot of picnic tables by the grassy areas, clean restrooms, soccer field, tennis courts and kid's playground with picnic tables with a LittleFreeLibrary for people who would like to read while in the park.

Quick note: non-residents pay an entry fee (worth every penny). Park was stunning for our visit. So many varieties of beautifully vibrant flowers, some of which we'd never seen before. The park has a nicely kept Veterans memorial, which I always appreciate. Two loops around the park; the outer one is for walkers and runners only. Great visit.

Absolutely gorgeous park in San Marino. flowering gardens, the trees have labels, and there are several paths. You have to walk one direction on the paths, which makes it safer for everyone. They charge you on the weekend for non residents of San Marino. Would be nice if they had water fountain for dogs.

Very peaceful park and maintained nearly. If you’re a not San Marion resident then need to pay $5 as entry fee per person. Park has tennis courts if you’re interested. Good place to host an family event such a birthday party or get together.

Attended the 11th annual San Marino car show. Beautiful grounds completely filled with mostly classic cars. Several very rare and expensive.

Picturesque park of beautiful flowers, trees and landscaping! I stumbled upon this well kept place several years ago while looking for a quiet lunch spot and a convenient place to unwind. After noticing the workouts, I ended up joining them! The quieter outer trail is tucked in behind the big trees, whereas the inner trail circles the big green field in the middle. The main entrance is off of Virginia Road, at Euston Rd. Visitor parking is accessible inside the park, or along Virginia Road. The San Marino Historical Society’s Thurnher House is located just inside the entrance and is open on Sunday’s. There’s also a memorial just beyond this structure at the open field. In addition, parking is permitted at the west side entrance, along St. Albans Road or in the parking lot. There’s a place to play baseball in the middle field and a large playground to the southeast side of the park, great fun for the kids! Restrooms are located next to the playground by the outer loop trail. Dog walking is a popular pastime here, with dog stations, reminders and a dog fountain. I’d recommend a self-guided loop tour on both inner and outer trails, with a pass thru the rose garden, seen at the park’s west side entrance, off St. Albans Road.

I came to this park for a walk on Sunday after lunch. There is a small parking lot, and it was full. There are plenty of street parking available. This park charges $5 admission fee for non San Marino residents during weekend. This park is well maintained that the lawn was "green." There was playgrounds, big lawn for picnic, area for children to ride their bike, scooter, and roller-skate. This is a good hangout spot for family during weekend.

A gorgeous park for families to spend quality time. Nicely manicured lawns, clean playground with corteous visitors (most wearing masks and respectfully maintaining physical distancing even outdoors). Vast expanse of greens allow families to have proper little breather from their own homes. Don't miss the pretty rose garden. Dog friendly. Cleanest public restrooms I have been in a long while. Will be back often.

Loads of shade on hot days. Paths to walk, and a unique playground. I love the grassy areas just to sit and be in a semi nature setting. If you aren't a resident, it is $5 to get in. Its extremely clean and I highly recommend this place.

This park is the best. It has everything. My favorite thing is to lay out on the huge expanse of grass and roll around with my baby, chasing her around in this completely safe area. This is a great place to bicycle and rollerblade on the paved circle, they have a really nice playground and bathrooms. This is a wonderful park!

This park was beautiful and huge many things to do there. The park wasn't too crowded and many great spots to rest.

I really enjoyed walking around and exploring Lacy Park. The playground is not particularly big, and mostly for 2-5 years old, but the park has much more to offer. A nice place for light weight hiking, picnic or playtime with family. The park also features gardens and other amenities. Great place for pictures too!

San Marino's finest! This beautiful, wide open park with a variety of fauna and towering, majestic trees has something for everyone! A playground, a rose garden, picnic areas, tennis courts, a medium & large walking path that both circle the entire park, and an extra large grass field in the middle for sports, open dog play, Frisbee, concerts, and much more! Regardless of the activity you go there for, you always leave with nature air in your lungs and a smile on your face :)

Best park in the area for relaxing with the boys and wife!! Nice open park with great play area! Only a couple of outlets into - out of the park for more peace of mind with multiple children. We enjoy sitting and chatting and meeting other parents. Nice circular track for riding bikes or an outer loop for walking. Pretty rose garden and scenery all around

My favorite park around here. I like that it’s free on the weekdays, but although I never thought I would pay to enter a park, I even come here during the weekends and pay the $5. Such a beautiful place, with a gorgeous rose garden, lots of shade for picnicking on a blanket, and the loop is perfect to practice rollerskating on.

Love the walk, the plants, and the energy of this park!!! Me and my wife like to come here to get a good walk in and will always notice something new and different about the wildlife that always excites us. The air is fresh and people are lively. It's a great place for a walk, jog, or any exercise around a circle path or within a circle of grass. Come experience it, especially if you live in the area!!

i love the park. my kids really enjoy this park the most. very open field. the play ground area was neat and the palm trees and greenery were beautiful. you can also ride bikes here which is awesome. 5 stars in my book. only thing they charge 5$ if your not a resident to the city but 5$ bucks is a small fee compared to the experience and enjoyment i had here with my lil ones:)

It was my first visit & I will definitely be back. Parking lots are fairly small, and I'm not sure if street parking is alright because I'm not from the area. The park is beautiful, well-maintained, and spacious. There are a lot of trees and plenty of areas with shade for a picnic. We were there for about 6 hours. We set up a picnic area on the grass just to sit under the tree. The park is large enough that you can find a quiet space. There are a lot of picnic tables under trees, so you have that as an option for larger parties. The bathroom is located by the playground, and it was clean. There are trash bins everywhere so you can easily clean up after yourself. If you need an outlet to charge your electronics, there are posts with outlets available for use. Dogs are allowed, must be leashed at all times, and owners must clean up after pets. Overall, the park was quiet. Even with a lot of people present, everyone keeps to themselves, and we were not disturbed.

Lacy Park is truly a hidden gem that offers a serene and captivating experience for nature enthusiasts. One of its most captivating features is the stunning rose garden, which is sure to leave visitors in awe. The garden boasts an impressive variety of roses, each meticulously cared for and arranged, creating a picturesque display of color and fragrance. Walking through the rose garden is like stepping into a dream. The vibrant hues of red, pink, and yellow petals form a tapestry that is simply breathtaking. The delicate fragrance permeates the air, enticing you to pause and take in the beauty surrounding you. It's a paradise for flower lovers and a haven for photographers seeking to capture the perfect shot. Lacy Park's rose garden provides a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The meticulously maintained pathways wind through the garden, inviting visitors to explore and discover hidden corners filled with blooming roses. It's a place where one can find solace, unwind, and reconnect with nature.

Surfer J with another top review. No surf to catch at Lacy Parker, but there are no surfer bums either. Entrance fee was 5 bucks!! There are lots of elaborate kids birthday parties. Kids on scooters, kids chasing bubbles. I usually come on weekdays, no entrance fee and I love this park very serene, good for meditation or taking girls on dates. The combination of pristine, well manicured park, babies and surfer J is a gnarly combo that woman can't seem to resist. See you soon Lacy park.
