definitely one of my favorite spots in WeHo. maybe in LA even. it’s somewhat like a pub-ish, with a very interesting craft beer selection on tap. prices are California-fair; they do Trivia on Mondays and on Saturday nights it gets so crazy you can’t even tell whether it’s a bar or a dance club anymore. everybody goes down - with very good music btw. so, pretty much I’d say there’s plenty of room to do whatever you please: play, dance, talk, smoke, chill. it’s always a must-go whenever I’m around :)

I won’t come back. It’s my first here. I got the drink and gave really good tips tonight . The problem is that when I asked for a cup of water, the same tall female just ignored me and asked me to get water by myself. If that’s her how to treat a great customer , she should change her job, never be a waitress anymore. Sweet, you can’t be a waitress when you don’t know how to treat customers. If I could take back my tip, I won’t left any cent to her.

A solid low key spot for craft beer. Great for low key conversation. They have a nice selection including some rare beers and hard to find items. Ask about the passport!

Karaoke every Wednesday at 10 pm- close!!! It’s amazing and the best In Hollywood!

Best "dive" bar in WeHo. Staff is always friendly and (of course, because LA) extremely good looking. Beer selection always keeps me coming back for more!!

A long-time favorite of ours in the West Hollywood area and a must for any beer lover as they consistently offer an extensive tap and bottle list. It can get a bit young, loud, and dancy in the evening so choose your visits wisely depending on the experience you're looking for. That said, the overall atmosphere is fantastic and, despite being relatively small, the space offers various pockets to escape to both inside and out. Cheers!

Small ocale, but fun. Indoor and outdoor space. Several different areas to sit with a group of friends and floor room for dancing. Staff is polite, friendly and overall really great!!

Great location and solid beer selection with a fun outdoor area! Could use a few better arcade games than the golf one. Maybe Galaga or Pac-Man. Also keep in mind there's very little parking in the area.

Small dive bar like atmosphere with excellent beer selection. I had the Hawaiian Imperial coconut Porter which was excellent and very strong. Good vibes, but I'm not sure always what crowd they are trying to attract. We went on a Saturday evening and didn't seem to have much going on.

Awesome beer selection if you love craft beer. Great people working here. If you don’t like beer they have a full bar and a good wine selection. If your in WeHo (West Hollywood) then stop by and find your new zen place.

This place wasn't really my vibe but it's def a great place to chill/relax with a group of friends. The drink prices are reasonable.

WeHo is full of upscale haunts for getting dressed up to meet mixologists that create majestic libations with thyme and candied ginger. Surly bartender with dyed red hair. With their biases gets annoyed at my annoyance waiting so long for a drink. I’m sorry I’m not a hot, straight white male dude whom you want to do body shots. Does it make me sad that you banned me from your bar? Pfft. There’s a whole world out there.

The Surly goat must be the 30-something white Man who was working there on the night of October 10 2023. I went in asking to see a food menu (this place is listed as a gastropub) only to be told with a very snotty Attitude “we don’t have food here. That’s Encino” and he didn’t care when i showed the West Hollywood location is advertised as a gastropub. I said “it says right here…” he said (without even looking at me) “oh that’a wrong. I’ll fix that”. My friend and I walked out. Shoutout to the Latina bartender who looked like she hated life.

This is the perfect neighborhood bar to just hangout and drink. The beers are AMAZING and change daily, so there is always something new to try. I also love Kareoke Wednesdays! Such a great spot in Weho.

Great full service bar for beer enthusiast! Priced fairly with none of the bad stigma of rude Hollywood bartenders you usually get in these "Instagram photo op" type places. Real down to earth staff.... This bar is for genuine people.

The Surly Goat is one of the last low key neighborhood bars still standing in West Hollywood. They have an amazing selection of beers and if you're more into liquor (like myself) the bartenders can make you almost anything. The staff is amazing. They're all super friendly and easy on the eyes (if that's important to you). And because they staff appropriately, you usually don't have to wait to get a drink. Trivia is on Monday. Karaoke on Wednesday. DJ on the weekend and darts in the back. The Goat truly has something for everybody. Go visit.

The best bar in West Hollywood with karaoke and trivia night. Met the manager and I have to say his knowledge is vast about the beers they sell. 25 tap beers and they even have a full liquor bar for your favorite mixed drinks. Awesome bartenders and are really good with customer service. Very easy on the eyes.😀

They decided to give themselves an additional 15% tip on top of the $40 I tipped them. They clearly think they can take advantage of people drinking. Here’s the thing. I wasn’t drinking I was just covering the tab for my friends. Looked at my charges this morning and they gave themselves more money off my card than I tipped. I will never go back here and I warn anyone going that they are shady. It’s a crime. Completely unacceptable.

This has been my local go-to for the past 6 years. I started coming here and couldn’t stop myself because the people that work here are so great. Come here during the week and get a chance to talk to the bartenders (they’re all smoking hot and awesome people). They have a great beer selection and almost always have at least one Russian River beer on (usually Pliny the Elder or Blind Pig). Darts, pinball, shuffle board, and GoldenTee. Great trivia on Monday nights - the host writes everything himself and it’s quality. Karaoke on Wednesdays. This is almost exclusively the only bar I go to on a regular basis.

Fun Karaoke!

Been wanting to try Dirt Dog, for a minute. Finally had the chance to visit during a weekday. Still caught a short line, but 15 mins after I was ordering my noms. I got the elote dog and their dirty corn. The hot dog was good, the toppings were fresh and savory. The elote was tasty and hit the spot. Their aguas are super refreshing, no refills so you might want two. The service was friendly and attentive.

Friendly staff. Definitely will come back again Fries a bit overprice but its delish !!! Cravings satisfied !

Quieter, quirky bar with good drinks selection and free shuffleboard.

Met a friend here for drinks and to catch the Big 10 tournament. This was a typical dive bar with multiple levels, lots of games and solid drinks. Nothing special but a good place to go thats centrally located if you're in the mood for a night of drinking.

Drove up from Long Beach to try this place. When me and my family first arrived there was no parking and it almost deterred us, then I saw the long line and said we are going there find parking and go because if it has a line it must be good or at least a try. Well it was good very worth the try. The staff and atmosphere was very nice. A little pricey though but somewhere you go once or twice a year or take friends and family who want to try new positive places.

I loved the food, hands down! My only problem is the location. It's a small hole in the wall, there's no parking & the location is very small. The line is always out the door & the inside is always very crowded & packed to capacity.

Was in the area and a lady recommended this place to us. It was really good, the portions are big and the prices are not bad. The garlic fries were the best !! The dirty chili dog however was also sooo good. Definitely recommend and we will be back! Thank you to the amazing girls for being so kind and helpful! And to the chefs for their amazing food and skills !They made my experience a 4 star!!!

This place doesn't serve hotdogs, they serve masterpieces. These have to be the best hotdogs I've ever had. This time around couldn't eat inside of dining area so had to order a head and pick it up. I ordered the Dirty Chili Dog which was fire. Loved the chorizo chili it had on it. I also tried the fried Oreos which were amazing. Will definitely be back again. If you haven't been to Dirt Dog you need to stop by and try this place out.

Best karaoke bar in West Hollywood. Best place to take friends or girl friend to have a wonderful evening.

New Year's Eve 4ish pm. Downtown Street dogs!!! My dad had the pastrami dog, I had the green dog. Both were delicious, my dad noted, they were not overwhelmingly large portions. Less guilt for breaking diet. You can't go wrong with this spot and parking is free!!! For choice of bun go with Losbster roll. We split the horchata ice cream which is enough for three to four people to enjoy. Food for thought they should at least include a full size churro or add an extra one just to make the ice cream to churro ratio balanced. Staff gets full five stars, great service.

Really disappointed with this place. We came for the karaoke on a Wednesday night and the person who does the karaoke was charging $2 to do a song at the start of the night. Then near the end of the night she started charging $5. Just seemed abit ridiculous to me. The bar staff were also Extremely rude. My partner and I did a duet on the karaoke and while we weren't at our table a member of staff took our drinks away (obviously thinking we had left, which is fine) but the drinks were over half full and when I went to the bar to explain and ask for a replacement the bar staff refused and was extremely ignorant. It wasn't until a manager came over and replaced our drinks. I do not recommend this place

Great dive bar feel. Had a dj that was spinning my favorite old dance tracks. I would go again. Plus the prices were fair
