Free popcorn, good vibes, and a fairly large amount of local breweries on tap! 🍺🍻🍺🍻🍺 This cozy bar really fits the area! The service is always good, and the crowd is there to match. Love that they have some cool board games to play, along with the free popcorn! An outdoor patio area to smoke, and the beach weather to soak in too! Always a nice spot to drop by when by the strand.

Great place and friendly bar tender/owner. They had puzzles and games at the bar which was a totally unique experience. Would come here again.

This might be my favorite little pub in the entire world. A block from Silver Strand Beach where you can watch the sunset and grab a brewski. Jim and August are genuinely lovely people who create a fun and welcoming environment for all who enter. Also one of the few pubs to offer Harp Lager which is one of my faves. The popcorn, board games, comfy couches, and back patio are all big plusses. The regulars at The Beachcomber Tavern also bring their pups, and Einstein is the best one! Definitely worth a visit if you're a local or just popping by from out of town. Much love from an old Newbury Park native now on the East Coast. You all made this trip home so worth it. Can't wait to come back and visit you all again!

I have never been myself, but friends say it's very nice. I am by it alot of the time and I must say they are very respectful in not letting people get to drunk etc. Many years ago when I came to the beach another owner owned it. Drunk people all the time causing issues. But the new owner for the last few years has been fantastic and they don't let people over drink for there safety and others. They also have food from what my friends tell me. I understand if this review is not what you were looking for. But, I am near the Tavern all the time. For many years and have seen the positive changes.

Great local spot! Very clean, and located right across the beach. They have a great selection of beer and wine, and they greet you with some buttery hot popcorn. No complaints here.

What a hidden gem! Friendly staff, great selection of craft beer, quaint decor, and an outdoor patio. Almost didn’t want to review it to keep the secret.

Love love Love this home-y bar. George the bartender is great. They really know how they take care of the customer. Giant jenga is a fav for us. Along with the ring on a string toss.

Great Atmosphere good on tap and bottled beer selection. Let's of games are the bar to play while having a drink with friends. This beach side pub has Beer, spiked seltzer and wine only.

They have a really good selection of wine and beer here. You can bring your own food but, the popcorn is really good here. Another great thing is that it's pet friendly.

I met my husband there 14 years ago. It will always be a special place for me.
