Didn’t make a reservation and waited about 2.5 hours on a Friday night, best to make a reservation if you don’t want to wait. However the service was extremely fast and staff is amazing. Everything comes in great portions and tasting amazing. Seating atmosphere is relaxing and was very comfortable to eat there. Definitely recommend if you live dumplings and other great Asian food!

Din Tai Fung, the renowned Taiwanese restaurant, lives up to its global acclaim. Their Cucumber Salad delights the palate with the crunch of Persian cucumbers, subtle fresno chili peppers, and zesty fresh garlic, all infused with the richness of sesame oil and their distinctive chili blend. Yet, the highlight undoubtedly lies in their Kurobuta Pork Xiao Long Bao. These delectable soup dumplings, brimming with seasoned Kurobuta pork, ginger, and green onion, epitomize perfection in every mouthwatering bite.

Quick Summary It's a successful chain for a reason. Din Tai Fung has mastered the dumpling dining experience to a science. Excellent food, service, and ambiance. Try to book a reservation, or else try their walk-in during down times (you may be waiting for hours without a reservation during the weekends) Food- 5 stars Everything here is very good. I particularly like the crab and pork XLB (dumplings), pork chop fried rice, Jidori chicken soup, and beef noodle soup. The spicy dumplings are popular and good, but I prefer the above 4 more. Service- 5 stars Everyone treats you like royalty here. Bottom Line Excellent food, service, and ambiance. Always a great meal when at Din Tai Fung

It's Din Tai Fung and you know things will hardly go wrong. Most dishes were delicious, but my favourite was the Shanghai dumpling. The dumpling skins had amazing texture (not too hard, chewy and flavorful). Cold cucumber was very good and the tan tan mian was delicious as usual. Service was fast and efficient.

If you want to eat exceptional Xiao Long Bao, you should for sure come to this chain. Food: The dishes, like Xiao Long Bao, garlic green beans, and chicken soup, are truly amazing, creating a desire to make this place a daily dining choice. Service: The service is efficient and quick, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable dining experience. Atmosphere: While the atmosphere is modern and clean, it takes a backseat to the star attraction—the incredible food.

Lets start with the service, Absolutely 5 stars the quality of service at this location is superb. From the host, to the servers, the wait staff..up to the floor managers. I felt so welcomed and accommodated. The floor manager actually took our order in an effort to expedite our meals. Our waiter Patrick did not miss a beat, he was polite and thorough. The food.... so I've actually had the opportunity to dine at the original location in Taipei and the quality is very similar. The soup dumplings are my favorite they literally burst with flavor in your mouth. Our food arrived hot and timely. Annother absolutely great experience!

I enjoyed every detail of the restaurant, from the amazing service to the design of the place inside and out. I went with my family, and I have to say that our server Hailey was absolutely helpful and patient with us. It was our first time and to see all the chefs preparing the food it's a great touch. The taste is diverse and delightful and the quality is at the top.

Kenny was our server on Tuesday the 22nd and he was super friendly, super sweet, and welcoming. He let us know how the menu and how the service worked, and always made sure we were taken care of. Food was very tasteful and the presentation was beautiful. Upon leaving we were thanked by all staff we passed, must’ve been at least 6 people, for coming and to have a good night. I know that’s their job but we felt very good and like they truly valued us as customers. I am DEFINITELY coming back! 10/10 experience and service!! Definitely recommend this place for amazing Taiwanese food! AND SHOUT OUT TO KENNY!!!

It’s a dumpling restaurant that serves dumplings, noodles, soup, fried rice, and appetizers. The service was excellent. And the food, especially the sweet and sour pork and cucumber salad were tasty. But, I honestly have to say that after a couple of dumplings, I couldn’t have any more. It’s worth checking it out, but it’s not my favorite type of cuisine.

I started going to Ding Tai Fung since I was living in China. The service of this brand remains outstanding and the quality of food is always beyond my expectation. We’ve been to this location for a few times, and everything is very nice. Ding Tai Fung never let me down. It’s amazing to see how long this restaurant brand maintains their quality of service and food, and keep improving and growing their business. I will always be a fan of Ding Tai Fung.

Always worth the wait. While Xiao Long Bao are great (especially pork ones), my favorites are Wontons. Spicy sauce is not very hot, but more fragrant and delicious. Honestly, there isn’t a dish that is bad. Quality is high and consistent throughout the menu, as well as multiple locations. Note: You can access picture menu using their QR code.

Even when every other store or restaurant is empty this place is always packed with a line, and for good reason. The food is delicious, and there are many options if your are vegan or vegitarian and or gluten intolerant. They can replace any noodles with glass noodles as well. Everything is high quality and well made, I recommend the vegan wonton soup! Even the tea is quality. The prices are 10-20 for each dish but even if you are a light eater you will probably end up getting two, especially if everyone is sharing, so expect the cost to be more than you think.

Honestly, I really don’t understand why this place is always crowded. We went at 5pm and had to wait 1 hour to be seated. When we were done, wait was even longer. Food was good but not 1 hour+ wait good. Service was great. Very friendly and professional. Price was little bit on the higher side but reasonable. I don’t think I will be back but it was pleasant experience.

I’ve been to other locations as well. This one is just as busy if not busier. There’s always a wait even on a weekday. At least being in a mall, there’s no problem finding parking. It’s nice that they have their own dedicated bathrooms for the restaurant as well. They’re known for their consistency and that’s evident here. Not exactly the quietest place since it’s always crowded and opens up to the rest of the mall. The only thing I wouldn’t recommend is the chocolate bun.

In the mall on the second floor near Nordstrom. Often there is a wait . The food is good . The portion of each dish is small . This is a big chain with locations at different part of the world. Should at least try once. They also has chicken dumplings.

It lives up to it's name and reputation of the soup dumplings. They are delicious, the skin was so thin and soft yet the soup was not leaking. Pairing the dumplings with the shredded ginger and vinegar, it is as good as soup dumpling can get. The hot and sour soup was different and special. In fact, it is the thickest hot and sour soup that I have eaten. It is not very sour but you can increase its sour taste by adding additional vinegar to your bowl to make it fit to your taste. The shredded soft tofu stripes in the soup amazed me that it can be that thin but not broken into tiny pieces. Overall, it tasted different but I like it A LOT. The sauteed string beans with minced garlic were delicious as well with a soft at the skin but a little crunchy in the middle of my bites. They were just cooked just right, not too soft or too crunchy. Will make another trip to taste more different dishes next time.

I've visited Din Tai Fung locations all over SoCal and this one, located within the Arcadia mall, maintains the same great food, atmosphere and friendly staff found across all locations. However, and much like any Din Tai Fung, the wait to be seated can be lengthy and can get pricey ...but those soup dumplings are so good! It's worth the wait.

Everything ordered was really good. Spicy chicken wonton was probably our favorite. When you arrive you are given a menu and check off what you would like to order. The food comes out in order and there is not a long wait between each course. Definitely make a reservation before going because the wait time is always long.

I was not a dim sum fan until now. This is not just a restaurant but an experience. The food was delicious, the service was shared between servers and consistently outstanding. Can we get a restaurant in the DC Metro area?

Only a 30 minute wait on a Sunday at 3pm was exciting & reasonable. The dining room service is very efficient. Photo menu available online or an english printed menu once you are seated. If you know what you like you can have your little order paper filled out before you even sit down. The food comes out quick but the quality is excellent. Best Xiao Long Bao anywhere. We ordered the BBQ pork baby back ribs as an appetizer, traditional pork soup dumplings, pork Shanghai rice cakes chicken wontons in spicy sauce and fish dumplings. It was more than enough for 2 people and EVERYTHING was delicious. One day I would like to have eventually tried every dish. This is my forever favorite restaurant and such a treat when we are in town.

The wait is super long, took about 2 hours on a Saturday evening. We ordered too much food, my friends really enjoyed the soup dumpling and shrimp dumplings. The service is really good and the waitstaff are very friendly. The only downside is the long wait.

My nieces suprised me by taking me to eat at Din Tai Fung. I really enjoyed my food. The only issue i had with the service was waiting for our server to returned to check if we needed anything else. I had to ask someone else for a fork after waiting for a while. Other than that I enjoyed my food and my company. I will be returning next visit from Sacramento.

I recently visited Din Tai Fung with my friends and it was an amazing experience. The restaurant offers exceptional service from the friendly and knowledgeable staff, making everyone feel welcome. We highly recommend making reservations since the restaurant is so good that it has a bit of a wait time. Their "xiao long bao" or soup dumplings are a must-try dish that's cooked to perfection and packed with flavor. The rest of the menu offers a wide variety of dishes catering to different tastes and preferences. What sets Din Tai Fung apart is their exceptional service, exemplified by our server, Hsiao Mei C. She had an excellent understanding of the menu and made great recommendations that made our dining experience exceptional. Overall, we highly recommend Din Tai Fung for anyone seeking exceptional food and service. The staff's dedication to providing an unforgettable dining experience is truly remarkable, and we can't wait to return soon.

Was very excited to visit this restaurant after all the hype created around it. Started off with the a couple of drink at the bar as we awaited our table. The bartender, Noah, was very nice, he made us an amazing peach martini and a yuzu margarita! As we got our table, we were extremely hungry, so we ordered a bunch, I specifically asked our server if the food will be paced out and she said yes. Within a few mins, all the food started coming out all at once, some items were cold and we had to send them back. Having so many dishes on the table, just meant things were getting cold as we got through them. Overall, due to the above, it wasn’t the best experience for me. However, to rate the food, I would highly recommend the black pepper beef and the spicy wontons. Our server Erica, was amazing and very friendly!

It was so delicious I forgot to take pictures before trying everything. Definitely recommend the pork xiao long bao and the spicy wontons!! All of the veggie sides are always perfectly cooked and tasty. And the servers are so friendly and helpful. I take my mom here every time she visits from out of town.
