Toluca Lake Pumpkin Festival & Christmas Trees

Pumpkin patch Christmas tree farm

😠 Extremely creepy people working here. One “helper” followed my daughter around made her feel uncomfortable. When I asked him to give her space, he started swearing at me. Told the manager, who asked him to step away for 10 minutes. Yikes! Keep your kids away from this place! People often mention tree, trees, petting, Christmas, pumpkin, employees, masks,

The trees are great but the owner tried to cheat me. We negotiated a price on the tree, then he charged me the non-negotiated price and because I was buying other things, hoped I wouldn't notice. Too bad, because there's an excellent tree selection. Do beware. They tell you what you want to hear but don't honor their word.

These guys do trees during Christmas and a pumpkin patch for Halloween. Great to have one so close, the kids love to go run between the trees/pumpkins and they have a petting zoo with goats, pigs, ducks and chickens. The trees and pumpkins are overpriced but they usually have a haunted maze on Halloween and some coin operated rides for Christmas. Our kids love it and it's good for pictures as well. Bring hand sanitizer.

We had a really positive experience getting pumpkins on Halloween day. All the employees were masked and incredibly helpful. Emby really made the experience! We were so grateful for the help loading up the car and finding exactly what we were looking for.

Really disappointed in this place. They appeared to have a large selection of trees that looked to be beautiful in quality, but many of the employees were actively endangering customers by not wearing masks. In the few minutes we were there (before leaving for our own safety), two employees approached us within 2-3 feet, both with masks only around their chins, not covering their nose and mouth. We saw several other employees (who fortunately did not approach us) without masks over their nose and mouth either. The trees were also very overpriced compared to other lots.

My husband and I have always cherished our experiences here, but sadly, this year was a disappointment. We decided to purchase our Christmas tree early this year due to our travel plans in December. Upon our visit, we noticed that the prices were considerably higher than most lots , but we chose to splurge and select a tree to support a small business. The salesgirl informed us that the tree had been freshly brought in from Oregon just a few days prior. It was already set up on a stand with water, which seemed convenient at the time, so i guess they assumed a fresh cut wasn't necessary? When we asked the older gentleman at the counter for cash back to tip the loaders, he responded with a somewhat unpleasant attitude. Regardless, we took our tree home and immediately watered it. It didn’t absorb any water. We waited a day and then reached out to them for advice or a possible exchange. They suggested waiting a few more days and offered us a free preservative solution, which we already had. After another day of no change, I visited the lot in person. They reassured us that the tree should be fine and advised us to call if we encountered any problems in a few days. A week later, our nearly $200 tree was completely dead -crispy dead. 💀 When we requested a refund or exchange, they offered only a 50% discount on another tree. This was a letdown, especially considering the amount of work it would take to dispose of the current tree and transport another one back. We have been loyal customers, supporting their pumpkin patch and even hosting an event here. It's unfortunate that they couldn't provide a more satisfactory resolution. I know I bought a tree that would eventually die but 7 days later?! It was a waste of $200 that could have gone towards other necessities. I hate writing bad reviews but hopefully this could improve their policies.

Very misleading to call it a festival. It is a pumpkin patch(lot). Also it is a rip off to ask for money to have people go through your haunted feature. If I could give a minus score I would.

The pumpkin patch manager and fellow employees were not wearing masks even though they had signs for patrons to wear masks. Without his mask on the manager did not keep 6 feet apart when letting us into the petting area. While we were in the petting area employees also came in without masks on. Inside the petting area some of the chickens had skin issues and had spots with no feathers and open wounds. The petting area did not feel sanitary. I would not recommend.

Never go here because the Christmas trees are rediculaly priced. The man claimed that the tree was 6 to 7 feet tall when it was actually closer to five feet . The service doesn’t make up for it. I suggest any where else. We later found a bigger and better tree for three times less with great service.
