My
husband
and
I
have
always
cherished
our
experiences
here,
but
sadly,
this
year
was
a
disappointment.
We
decided
to
purchase
our
Christmas
tree
early
this
year
due
to
our
travel
plans
in
December.
Upon
our
visit,
we
noticed
that
the
prices
were
considerably
higher
than
most
lots
,
but
we
chose
to
splurge
and
select
a
tree
to
support
a
small
business.
The
salesgirl
informed
us
that
the
tree
had
been
freshly
brought
in
from
Oregon
just
a
few
days
prior.
It
was
already
set
up
on
a
stand
with
water,
which
seemed
convenient
at
the
time,
so
i
guess
they
assumed
a
fresh
cut
wasn't
necessary?
When
we
asked
the
older
gentleman
at
the
counter
for
cash
back
to
tip
the
loaders,
he
responded
with
a
somewhat
unpleasant
attitude.
Regardless,
we
took
our
tree
home
and
immediately
watered
it.
It
didn’t
absorb
any
water.
We
waited
a
day
and
then
reached
out
to
them
for
advice
or
a
possible
exchange.
They
suggested
waiting
a
few
more
days
and
offered
us
a
free
preservative
solution,
which
we
already
had.
After
another
day
of
no
change,
I
visited
the
lot
in
person.
They
reassured
us
that
the
tree
should
be
fine
and
advised
us
to
call
if
we
encountered
any
problems
in
a
few
days.
A
week
later,
our
nearly
$200
tree
was
completely
dead
-crispy
dead.
💀
When
we
requested
a
refund
or
exchange,
they
offered
only
a
50%
discount
on
another
tree.
This
was
a
letdown,
especially
considering
the
amount
of
work
it
would
take
to
dispose
of
the
current
tree
and
transport
another
one
back.
We
have
been
loyal
customers,
supporting
their
pumpkin
patch
and
even
hosting
an
event
here.
It's
unfortunate
that
they
couldn't
provide
a
more
satisfactory
resolution.
I
know
I
bought
a
tree
that
would
eventually
die
but
7
days
later?!
It
was
a
waste
of
$200
that
could
have
gone
towards
other
necessities.
I
hate
writing
bad
reviews
but
hopefully
this
could
improve
their
policies.
