Still the best steak sandwich around! You get 2 sides as well. My husband and I shared everything and it was plenty. Definitely recommend. It was a bit warmer then it should be and the table and chair bottoms need a deep clean but would return for the food.

Many people told me to try the steak sandwich from here and I will say it was very good. Decent size and good flavor but not sure if I would be willing to come back at almost $24.

I've always wanted to try this place, as I have passed it hundreds of times. I was disappointed. We went around 1030am on a Saturday. The fries seemed like they had been warmed up from the night before, the Italian sausage seemed the same way, the edges were dry and hard. We won't be going back.

All the men who work here are super RUDE, I ordered the famous skirt steak sandwich and it was bloody raw rubbery and stringy. They obviously are not buying the same cuts of meat like the old days. Certainly charging rediculous price of $26 stay away, all the employees look like they dred being around each other.

Pretty standard fare for a Chicago Hot Dog type of joint. The Italian beef was pretty good, my daughter scarfed down her hot dog, and my sisters gyro was pretty good. Have been multiple times and have yet to be disappointed with anything they have. The Greek salad comes with a nice slab of feta for those that want to go that route.

Fast, friendly, freshly-made food. Booby’s has been my family’s neighborhood go-to for nearly 20 years. The variety of the menu is terrific. I’ve never had a bad meal at Booby’s. I especially like the spaghetti with meat sauce, the steak sandwich and the grilled chicken breast dinner. And gyros. Can’t forget the gyros.

I am very disappointed at my experience this weekend. I looked forward when in Chicago to come here and eat. This week I was greeted very rude by the front staff. There was no greeting at the counter just a hurry up and place your order. When asking for some extra 5 cents bbq sauce it was treated like there was an issue. I was told you have some on your sandwich. Now as I sit and watch the interactions of other customers they were treated like Gold. I have never had this experience at Booby’s before .It was always pleasant. They really need to work on the new staff during lunch hours on customer service. Needless to say my complexion is a little different than the other guest I saw treated like Gold. Mr.Owner please work on your staff to provide a pleasant experience for any customers no matter the color of there skin. No human has control of the color of there skin. Someone of a different race could possibly save your life.

I don't have a picture that's how good it was. I have driven by this place a thousand times and have never been a customer. Today I had a taste for ribs and ordered thru Grubhub. The ribs were delicious, the baked potato was perfect, the coleslaw was amazing. I will definitely be a regular customer from now on

The menu did not enumerate what came on a cheeseburger. I naïvely assumed it would be the fairly standard selection: ketchup, mustard, lettuce, tomato, pickles, maybe onion… I was not expecting grilled onions, pickles, a scoop of coleslaw, and nothing else. Some people in the dining room got porcelain plates, and metal tableware. I got a styrofoam plate. I have no idea how that was decided. The ambiance was a neighborhood fixture where families and little league teams go. Which is really nice.

Came here after working out, looking for something healthy. Grilled chicken dinner had tons of protein. Highly recommend adding one or two more healthy sides and appeal to another audience.

I've been eating here since I was in junior high. I order either the Big C or the steak sandwich. I love eating the fries with the bbq sauce. Check it out if you want some great Chicago style food!

Very clean shop. Fast, polite service. My burger was another story. It tasted like the pulled it out of the frozen foods and threw it straight on the grill. No salt. No pepper. No flavor. Maybe I'll go back and try the steak sandwich, that seems to be the most beloved item.

1. The food is not on par to the standards of the modern time in which everything is too rushed on the way of not making it in the fine way it is to be. Example the skirt steak sandwich in many cases had issues with the meat not being tender hence called before ahead to 15 minutes prior was told to staff to make well done but ignored twice for without explanation. 2. The staff is not polite and makes you question do you know want you want if not come back later in 2023? Not good in which the Customer is always right and the area is not satisfactory to cleanliness outside the premises in which traffic is heavily consistent to enter or exit. 3. The wait times are long and even in the drive way to get an item the staff will continue to question you example the Land Rover ahead got his food order in exactly 7 minutes the car next had to wait 15 minutes on the side then later was told his order got mixed with another person in which case the customer wasted 30 minutes and traffic as an extra issue in the locality. 5. No specials due to inflation and yes that’s happening everywhere but to get two sandwiches and 1 fries for $22 is wrong in many ways in the year 2023. No App to pre order the meal and to get points to the next is not present which is Not modern for the people. 6. Refunds are an issue if the receipts is not there no refunds even if you there 15 minutes away is strange. 7. Go to Wendy’s, Burger King, Wing Stop, Popeyes, McDonald’s these places offer real All American experience in which there is an App and staff that will take of you fast and in a modern way everyday.
