This was a great experience! The morning breakfasts are delicious but were a bit repetitive while we were there. The camper we stayed at was fully equipped with everything we needed for a stay! Super comfy and chic. The grounds are kept nice and clean. The farm is gorgeous and I highly suggest checking it out if you stay! I couldn’t give it a 5/5 unfortunately as we weren’t always able to get a hold of someone when we needed something due to them being understaffed at the moment as pointed out to us by the inn-keeper. Not much to do outside of the grounds themselves as it’s a pretty rural area however tons of breweries if that’s your thing! We would definitely return, location is LGBT friendly it seems and doing outdoorsy stuff is always a fear with running into businesses or people who aren’t! Thanks Goldberry Woods we had a great and relaxing time!!

We cannot recommend this Bed and Breakfast enough. First of all, the breakfast was out of this world good! We had the best pumpkin pancakes I’ve ever had. The service was superb! Eric and Julie were at the ready with anything we needed from s’mores kits to recommendations for things to do. We loved the free canoes available for rent and just walking around the grounds. You truly never have to leave the property. The heated pool and hot tub were also perfect for relaxing at the end of the day. We can’t recommend this place enough for a relaxing weekend away.

My partner and I had the absolute best time at Goldberry Woods. Everything about our stay exceeded our expectations. We stayed in the vintage Flora trailer for two nights. The trailer was just as beautiful as it was advertised. Super comfy bed, all the kitchen supplies you would need, and the privacy that we were looking for. We loved the fire pit and listening to the train and birds. We really loved the heated pool and, honestly, loved that it wasn’t over run by kids. Don’t get me wrong, I’m a teacher and kids are fine but it was so nice to relax and have the pool to ourselves as a couple without kids. We also enjoyed an incredible charcuterie board and bottle of local wine when we arrived and a delicious farm to table breakfast before we left. The trailer, grounds, and food were enough to warrant 5 stars but the hospitality of the staff and Eric and Julie pushes it over the top. They were accessible and quick to answer any questions. The only negative part is that we had to leave. Hopefully we’ll be back soon!

We loved our stay at Goldberry Woods. We only stayed for 1 night but were still able to take advantage of all the activities and amenities. We stayed in the Flora air stream that sits on the back of the property. We brought prepped food for dinner and used the grill to cook it. The airstream had everything we needed and was the perfect size for 2 people. We rode bikes, made a fire & s’mores, kayaked the river, hiked the trails, watched the sunset at the beach, and after checking out we spent the day at the beach down the road. This was our first stay at a B&B. We really liked that we were able to help ourselves to everything and explore freely. The complimentary treats and breakfast were delicious. The staff was so nice and accommodating. I only have good things to say about our time here. I will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful night here, me and my two young sons. It's such a beautiful setting, and every detail has been thought of. We loved the kayaking, the outdoor pool (with poly tunnel cover for the colder seasons), hot tub, and exploring the grounds. The breakfast was wholesome, fresh and tasty! We will definitely be back again, hopefully with friends in tow. Welcoming staff, who have thought of everything. Thank you 💕

This place is wonderful. The rooms are comfortable, breakfast is delicious, and the staff is friendly. There are animals on the property and some nice short hiking paths. It's a fantastic getaway for us, living in Chicago. We also meet up here with friends from the Ann Arbor area. The vibe here is chill. I can't recommend Goldberry Woods enough. There's nowhere in the area anything remotely like it!

My husband and I spent two and a half very enjoyable days at Goldberry Woods. The forest and river setting is beautiful this time of year and very relaxing. Our room with its stone fireplace, comfy bed and spacious bathroom was cozy. Innkeepers Julie and Eric and their staff were very accommodating to the slightest need, like replacing an incandescent light bulb in the bedside lamp with a brighter LED bulb. The breakfasts were thoughtfully and artistically prepared and delicious, with many ingredients from their organic farm. We loved looking at the chickens and the gardens and I especially enjoyed time in the pool on a rainy afternoon. Lake Michigan, restaurants, wineries and breweries were all nearby. Who could ask for anything more? Just three hours from Detroit; we plan to return.

Love this bed and breakfast! We’ve been before and are always amazed at the cleanliness, fun activities on property, and amazing food! The rooms are amazing and they have a hot tub and pool now too!! We went snowshoeing today and they let us borrow snowshoes for their trails! Can’t wait to come back again when it’s warmer to kayak!

This is one of the best farm experiences we've ever had! Being a city gal with a family that rarely dives into nature, we felt the need to try something new and we are so happy we did! Finding the Goldberry farm was super easy using google maps. When we arrived, the grounds were nicely kept. The entry was beautiful leading up into the Check-in for the B&B. We received a pleasant tour of the grounds and was escorted to our cottage. The cottage was spacious and comfortable. 3 bedrooms with soft beds and luxury linens. The kitchen was spacious with a full size refrigerator, gas stove, large dining table. The back patio with screened in porch with an amazing breeze! In the morning, we headed to the B&B for a made to order breakfast and snacks, coffee and juice. Our son had fun walking the trail, playground, jacuzzi and pool. I just LOVED IT ALL! Highly recommend.

What a unique and wonderful experience! You can tell the property and its grounds are lovingly cared for. Was a little afraid bringing our 4 year old to a "bed and breakfast" style place, but we felt so welcome, it was never an issue! Highly recommend for a weekend getaway!

We made a last minute decision to check out Union Pier and we were so lucky to find this gem. We stayed in the River Edge home. Comfortably slept our family. Kids loved the bunk room and fusball table. Having two primaries was a huge plus. Great hangout out spaces. Huge table for cards and they had a ton of board games to borrow too. Enjoyed the pool, chickens, berry picking and ping ball table. Was located close to New Buffalo and Union pier downtown areas. The owners and team were so nice (my daughter even comments how kind everyone was). Would recommend!

We stayed in the Flora camper for a couple nights after our wedding and it was perfect all the way around. The camper itself is deceptively spacious and very well appointed. Make sure to take advantage of all the property has to offer - kayaks, trails, a heated pool, hot tub, billiards, fire pits, the list goes on. Really a screaming bargain when you consider everything you get. It's also really close to a lot of charming SW Muchigan towns. Breakfast was delicious, and Julie, Eric, Sydney and the rest of the team were fantastic hosts. We'll be back!

We have been coming to Union Pier for 30 years. We have rented homes, visited our friends in their homes and stayed in most inns and hotels in the area. For some reason, we overlooked Goldberry Farms until the end of last summer and made a point to stay here this June. What a gem! Farm to table breakfasts are delicious. The beds and sheets are super comfortable. Everything is well thought through. Lots of things to discover, like the Rec container with pickle ball rackets and balls for my 18 year old of all types plus cornhole. The pool and hot tub were a nice plus. Very good location close to the lake. Very kind and accommodating owners. We will be back!

We love this place. My husband and I have come twice now. They managed to include all the little details that make this place fantastic. There's plenty to do in house with games, books, and movies. Lots of great common space to meet new friends. No other place has trails, year round hot tub and pool, pool table, ping pong...they have thought of everything! And the breakfast is fantastic! We highly recommend and already booked our next weekend trip with the kids.
