Great selection of draft beer and whiskey. Also, what is a "whiskey bonder" anyway? Irish Whiskey Bonding is the practice of sourcing new make spirit and mature Irish Whiskey from Irish distilleries and maturing, blending and bottling unique whiskeys.

The shepherds pie egg rolls were bomb! I've never had anything like them. They have daily specials and an abundance of beverage options. I had a yummy pineapple cider. The Guinness is the go to in an Irish pub of course. If you want the proper Irish experience this is the place to go. Lovely part of the city up North. On summer nights several places to walk and close to CTA.

This is one of the cleanest, coolest, fun Irish pubs I’ve been to in Chicago. The outside is iconic; you can see it from the Brown Line blocks away and it just draws you in. I’ve been here for Manchester United matches and the place gets PACKED. During the pandemic, they did a good job of enforcing the rules. My last visit here, it was just a random Wednesday night and we were seated right away. The bartender was attentive and the pints of Guinness even had a little shamrock inscribed in the foam! Every time I’ve been here, the food has been very solid and consistent. On Tuesdays they also have a beer, burger, shot special. I will definitely be coming back more often, as this is a great place to hang out.

Stopped in for a couple of drinks. Classic Irish bar with beautiful wood interior and seating. With the various types of beers offered, our server/bartender was knowledgeable of what's what. Would stop in again to try out their food.

The best Irish breakfast I've had here in Chicago. Eileen is the Saturday morning bartender and she's lovely.

Sean was my server. Amazing guy. Lovely, friendly host. Food was good. Fair price. Good environment. I order GF salad with grilled chicken. Buffalo wings and fish and chips. We shared our food. Everything was so fresh and tasty. Service was fast. We ate outside but went inside for for bathroom and sitting. Super nice and clean place. I truly have nothing negative to say about my visit here.

So, let's start with the Covid stuff, it has lots of outside tables and they're socially distanced, so a big tick here. Moving on to the important bits, there's a beer menu that takes you ten minutes to read and a great range of hearty food. It's fresh and very tasty. As a Brit it definitely reminds me of a British pub (compliment, not insult!) and the service is friendly too. Oh, dogs are also welcome outside. I've actually never stepped inside as I've only just moved to the area, but it's already my favourite local place to go and eat and unwind!

A cool pub with an authentic Irish vibe to it. Great selection of drinks, there’s an entire menu of them so you will for sure be able to find something you like. The staff was very friendly as well.

Very average. Soup very thin, no crackers. Servers Mexican good at an irish themed bar (not good). Good bar, prices very mid ranged, and average. Nothing better but not worse. Get a-little less than you would expect for the price.

Had a good time here for Saturday brunch. Lots of good beers on tap, plus an extensive liquor list. Food was average, but was made up for by the great service. Plus, the ambiance was comfortable. I would recommend this pub for a casual meal.

My family and I love coming here. The staff is SO friendly and wonderful, the atmosphere is excellent, and the food is delicious! It's my favorite place to come for brunch. Cannot say enough good things about this place. Highly recommend.

The corner pub of my dreams! They have so many drinks on tap, including ciders. The food was fresh and yummy. There are so many more things on the menu that I'm dying to try. I'll be back soon!

Nice Irish pub with quaint traditional feel. They always pour a good pint of Guinness and the food is really good too. Highly recommend the curry fries.

Fantastic brunch experience, lovely atmosphere, very cozy and with a '1920s retro pub' feel throughout. It bothers the hell out of me that UK bangers are not a standard sausage that you can find easily throughout the country, much less the city, because American breakfast sausage really doesn't compare. Crispy and juicy, paired with a hard cider, plump tomato, crunchy rashers, saucy beans and two kinds of pudding...a full Irish is one of the best meals a man can have. No mushrooms, oddly, but a bowl of mushroom soup fulfills that requirement, and the taste/texture was quite mellow and enjoyable. Service with a smile, too... I didn't expect a fussy, happy, glamorous Irish lass to handle my order, but I was glad I got one. She was a peach, sweet and efficient and made the whole experience more fun. I must say, the pricing was a little steep, but I only spent about 70 minutes in the establishment. Were I to come with a handful of friends, at night, with some good music or a baseball game on, it would probably have been a 5 hour 'experience', making the price of admission more about quality time versus making good time. Either way, I had a ball. Hope to go back soon, see how much more trouble I can get jnto with that weekend menu. 😋

I went in the afternoon and it had a family vibe with indoor and outdoor seating. Extensive selection of beers. I had a salmon sandwich and the salmon potion was pretty generous :) Service was sort of slow but waiters were always busy

Chuy is the best bartender AND the fish'n'chips are the best in the city of Chicago, bar none! The cod is so fresh and flavorful, the batter is deep fried to perfection, the "chips" are perfectly done, tartar sauce delicious, and the cole slaw is pretty good too! Great beer selection and wines are good. We will be back!

Love everything about this place. Both brunch and dinner food are great. They have a ton of beers on tap...and great prices compared to most city bars. The staff is probably the best part. Super nice really fun.

We found a gem! Great and beautiful neighborhood pub with excellent beer selection and tasty food. My wife said the angus burger was beyond compare. My daughter loved the shepherd pie, and I loved the fish and chips. The atmosphere is upbeat and friendly, and you may get serenaded by an Irish patron as we did 🙂. As. 5 stars indicate, service was spot on too. Highly recommend!

It's a solid spot. Never disappoints. My fave neighborhood joint--always serving a cold brew and yummy food. Excellent service too! Love sitting outside on temperate summer evenings.

The corned beef sandwich was DELICIOUS and the Paloma was strong lol. I enjoyed everything except the fries but that could have been a one off. Definitely returning.

One of my favorite places to get Fish & Chips in the city. I love the atmosphere and the menu has enough variety for everyone. It can get very crowded, which I personally don't mind, but just something to keep in mind if you're coming with a big group.

I always love coming here because of the cool crowd. The salmon special was excellent so I had to post. Staff is top notch and the pub always feels clean and fresh. Oh and my martini was on point! See you next time.

First time here. Good food and great people. Comfortable atmosphere with lots of TVs for sports, etc... would be great to watch a match here. Had the full Irish breakfast. Just as good as in Ireland, especially the potatoes (no joke). Also, had the best Irish Coffee I've found outside of Boston. Will be back for sure.

Great Irish Pub ☘️ Sports Bar in Ravenswood area currently having Christmas Decor and amazing food 🥘 Any Manchester United Fans should definitely visit 😁 Good selection of Seasonal Beers on Tap and well as regular options. Wide variety of Beer Cans, Bottles, Wines and Hard Liquors like Whiskey, Vodka, Gin, Rum, etc. They serve cocktails too! We just had their seasonal and tap beers. Ordered Curry Chips which were crispy fries 🍟 served with Irish Gravy and Shephard’s rolls served with mashed potatoes. Portion is huge. The service was slow though as they only had 1-2 people working during busy hours.

Great service, atmosphere. Excellent beer selection. Food is even better than prepandemic.we had a spicy chicken sandwich, the Sullivan, chicken curry and fish and chips. Great ingredients well prepared. Our service was terrific a young woman relatively new on the job, very good

Really nice and authentic pub. Guinness is fresh and cold. Staff are really nice. Fish and Chips were excellent and the cod was fresh and tasty. They have a lot of items on the menu-maybe too many. The brunch was good but my wife’s O’Shaughnessy’s Skillet tasted a little like the pan hadn’t been cleaned out very well as it’s a veggie skillet, but otherwise all good. Will come back for the Guinness. $5.50 pints on Wednesday’s!

Great selection of beer. Food a bit pricey but very tasty! We had the shepherds pie, pub melt, and spicy chicken sandwich. Spicy chicken was not spicy at all, shepherd's pie extremely hot when you get it so be careful, and pub melt tasted like it was grilled outside on a grill, and at a perfect med done.
